Expansion Fleet is nearing the end of it's finale episode. We can give you an assignment, but it will be very temporary, considering we will be starting a new simm as soon as the finale ends, with all new characters and ships. You might be better off to wait until then, but it's up to you.

Not sure on the staff of the USS Rivendell. But if you wish to skip the Academy and go right into the missions then go ahead. Youll start out at the rank of Ensign sense thats the lowest rank. Report to the Rivendell and talk to whoever is in charge

Application from an Ex-Borg to Starfleet
Hi guys,
I´m not sure, I´m right here, but I just pack it in here ^^
So, I´d like to play an Ex-Borg (like the topic says) and want to ask if that goes right. Of course I thought about a story:
Zero, the name of my Borg, served 36 years in the collective before he has been liberated by a mixed group of travelers, passing through a sphere´s way. The Borg tried to board this little "marquis-like" vessel. But the ship could flee by disabling the Borg with a neural shock. The boarding partie consisted of five Borg, four of them didn´t survive, the one defiant was "Twelfe of Sixteen" - later "Zero". The little ship fled into a nebular and left the sphere behind. That´s how Zero found his "new" collective.
The crew of the little ship showed him what individuality means and in a matter of time Zero became a part of the crew. Without a direct heading this little ship continued course to the Alpha-Quadrant. But the crew´s goal wasn´t to reach it. Thjey were outcasts, looking for a place with future. Faced some adventures before they get stolen in a space dock near the planet Ledos. From this Time forward the crew splitted. Some stood there other hitch-hiked. Zero got till the Alpha-Quadrant heard about the Federation and Star Fleet. He decided to try to join it.
So far so short^^
Because of the limited possibilities on the ´little ship and the poor surgeon most of Zeros implants couldn´t been removed and he has many scars. But now he is a fully realized individual. He looks horrible but has a heart of honey ^^

I can offer you, mr. keach, a higher position. If you would like, I need an XO/CO of Castle Guard Planetary Base,the rank would be vice admiral. You would work side by side in Vanguard Division with Windsor section's XO (the Station CO) you would coordinate the planetary base, while Windsors XO would take care of the SB, me and mr. ransom (the other CO) would be doing other things, coordinating,etc...) At the moment you could fill in as any other position if wanted as things are a bit slow...

You can report for Secuirty/Tactical training by reporting to Commander Balkazar. He is currently at Starphoenix Base on Dantor (Avalon Division) as his cadet his training with me. You can join to but you must tell Commander Balkazar first.
However, if you do not want to go to through academy training, you can join as enlisted and become a security NCO at Starphoenix Base.

Some options...
-Become medical instructor quicker, rank of Crewman (storyline situation would have to be that you are expert medical crew, never went to be an officer)
-Go through the academy in the Medical course ( I am the temp instructor ) and take the open beginning command training, and instruct AND be the Academy 3rd with the rank of Ensign/Lt. J.G. perhaps.
End of it all is, to be Ensign above, have to go through the Deep Space Academy. And for a command spot like Academy 3rd, I wouldn't give to anyone but an officer.

Hey guys, welcome back. I believe the roster is up to date, im not 100% sure. Why dontcha join in on the current mission. Just hop on in on either the command deck or Celtic corner your choice. So far the only commanding officers on the station who are active seems to be commander lollock and myself. But I wouldnt call myself in charge of the station sense oh never mind, im rambling. Your best bet is Command deck lol.

I believe a position in the JAG department on SS Avalon is open. However it is simular to the Diplomacy positions. When it has something to do, it is active. But most of the time I think it can be a bland position to hold.
Although it is up to you, my advice if you do really want JAG, would be to have a second character perhaps to fill another position. I do know a JAG situation might be coming up now, but after it there may not be a use for a while.

Malia, The USS Lothlorien does need a CEO. However, youll keep the rank of LT. sense we have WAY! to many Lt. Cmdrs and such. But you will be the CEO of the Lothlorien with the rank of Lt.

*laughs* It's not letting me post using my new character (Aariya Sayuri) so I had to drag out an old, rusty, 'retired' commodore. I must admit, though.. I have missed her. But that's beside the point!
This is the character I want to get assigned (she's registered, but the forums aren't liking her so much right now):
Name: Aariya Sayuri
Position: Diplomatic, though this character has a background in psychology/sociology as well, and could easily work that field. Comes with the territory. *smiles a bit* Preferably linked with intelligence in one form or another, even if she's not always actively involved in that division. (Meaning: She could be stationed elsewhere.) It's in her nature to be a shady creature.
Race: Human
Gender: Female
Age: 33
I'm not sure if she'd better suit this role as a civi, or as an officer, so I believe that's something I'll leave to our wonderful Admirals here and follow suit accordingly. =)

Intel is currently recruiting but at the same time im not sure if theirs a place in the positions you listed. I have already have 2 security officers in Intel. Theirs a rough draft of what positions are filled and are open and im currently looking for it.

I was here last year however due to several factors i was unable to get to Expansionfleet.
My signature says I was serving aboard the USS Mannon as Chief Helm officer. However I am aware that that ship doesn't exist anymore and do not know what other positions are available...would I be able to take a posting now or would I be required to go through the academy?

Well it has been about a yr or more since i was last here and i got an email about needing to get more ppl active and this char was still here. I know Kassie and Giv runs Helm on the Rivendell, I think the USS Iroquois could use a helmsmen I think, im not 100% sure, so you will have to PM Tara Lollock on that one sense shes acting CO of that ship. HK47 is helm for the Evolution. So ummmmm, yeah .

Have you decided whether or not to join the Deep Space Academy? It will take you longer to get on the ship, but you can't become an Ensign or higher unless you do.

What position do you 3 want to try and fill ?. If im not mistaken, theres positions on the USS Rivendell, Lothlorien, and I think thats it.
If you choose to be on the Lothlorien, choose between Starfleet and marine because the Lothlorien is a marine/starfleet ship.
