I, Admiral William Karelia, have been in contact with Starfleet and have informed them of our current situation with the Romulans. They have permitted me to use whatever means necessary to protect the citizens of the Federation from this pirate menace, and I have come to this difficult decision:
As of exactly 1200 hours this afternoon, the United Federation of Planets is officially at war with the Romulan Coalition.

Officer Cadet (Crewman)
Pilot Officer (Ensign)
Flying Officer (Lieutenant JG)
Flight Lieutenant (Lieutenant)
