"Welcome. Now that you are both here, I would like to take a second to update you on the situation. This will be stictly a fighter division. Ian is tapping the control buttons with obvious frustration.
"I think I have at least located the position of the Borg drone. He has 'ported close to main engineering, and appears to be somewhere around there, still."
He taps his badge.

He looks back towards his panel
"Sir, he's worked too much into the system. I can't bybass anything..."

"Well, we were having a few problems with the onboard phaser targeting system, but I took care of that earlier. As far as torpedoes, we have a full load of both quantum and photon, and I personally made sure all were checked over to prevent accident. All systems good to go, sir."
Major Malcom looks back towards his display
Also, I had a slight problem with the shields, but it turned out to be a few of the capaciters were acting up. Everything will be fine now.[/I]

"We hit 'em. We hit 'em good. They're still focusing their attacks on the base though. This doesn't seem right. They're not even trying to fight back!"
Ian looks down at his controls.
"I'm not sure how we did so much damage. They should be retreating or pulling away. That ship must have not been fully shielded. It's almost like it was sent here for only one purpose... to destroy the base?"
