"Aye, Admiral.  Beginning MVA Mode sequence immediately!"

Commodore Ian punches in the commands on his display.

"Damn!  They don't appear to be breaking away from the base!  We have to do something to distract them!"

Ian begins tapping the console.

"Admiral, I have quantum torpedoes ready to fire."

"In my opinion we should head to the nearest astroid field.  I would really like to test the targeting systems of the phasers and torpedoes before we enter into any combat situations."

Ensign Michaels at the comm begins stuttering

"sir.. sirs.. er... Mr .. .Captain...."

Ian looks towards the Ensign.

"Spit it out, Ensign!"

Ensign Michaels stands up and straightens himself out.

"Sir!  The base is under attack!  They are requesting assistance immediately!"

"Oh, Firefox is alright at the moment.  Not much is going on that way, since it is still a fairly new division.  Hopefully we can get some recruits and get it up and running.  Anyway, I'd be more than willing to help with anything you need."
