The Lieutenant looks up  and sees the JAG officers standing in front of his cell.

"Goodevening sirs, it's a pleasure to meet you. I thank you for defending me in this case. I still believe that I was not treated according Starfleet regulations by my Commanding Officer"

"Ow yes, I have tried to explain it a hundred times but he wouldn't listen. He was always making jokes about my faults to other crewmembers"

"Aye sir."

Robert heads for the engineering dept

Laurent watches the Docter and stands up

"The work rapport on me and Commander Burke...well I have no dislikes about anyone at first. But after a few weeks he began to irritate me. He began to question my skills and began to question my actions, he advised me to get a counselor...just ABSURD!"

"No one really talked about it, I think everyone found him an annoying man but...I don't think it will justify my actions"

Warren looks at Commander Miller

"What will happen to me sir?"

"I am going to get the perspective from Commander Burke's point of view."

Mike begins to leave, but turn back to look at Lieutenant warren before going out the door.

"Let me suggest taking this to a superior officer before handling it yourself, if this ever happens again."

Eric walks into the Brig area and over to Mr. Warren holding cell

Well it seems Sir i am now letting you go, you are to report to the Deep Space Academy where you will complete courses there...

Computer Release the force field on Mr. Warren's cell *at that moment the force field disappears*

Well I shall be on my way....  I do hope you know your way to the Academy?

*Admiral Montrell and Commander Miller enter the Secured Brig*

Montrell turns to the Security Officer
"We would like to speak with the defendant"

The Officer agreed and pointed at the end of the hall, the last cell was the one which had their defendant.

"Shall we, Commander Miller"

"Would you mind telling us your views on what happened?"

"Ok, thank you Mr Warren. We'll be back if there's anyother questions."

*Now we need to talk with Cmdr Burke*

Leaves the brig.

"Hmm yes...you're right. Well I'll leave this into your hands now, I have to speak with Admiral Vorak, arrange things for the funeral of Commodore T'Hain. According to the crewroster, Commander Burke can be found in the Engineering Department, he has been transferred there until further notice."

*Greets Commander Miller and heads towards a turbolift*

Robert stood there quietly, watching Mike work.

OFF: No prob.

"Well, if it is decided that this assault was unprovoked, sorta speak, then you probably have to serve some time, and get demoted or worst, thrown out of starfleet."

"Yes, but what good does it do to me know...I have no chance in Starfleet anymore!"

Warren walks to his bed and kicks against the side

Laurent was still awaiting his punishment in the brig of Station Avalon. He was hoping that Commander Miller would arrive soon, that way he could leave the station and head back to Earth. Laurent knew his Starfleet Carreer had ended here, altough he wasn't totally to be blamed, but who cared?

*At that moment, all the lights are restored in all rooms, corridors and halls over the entire station.*

"After you sir."

Miller followed Montrell down the corridor.

"Hello Mr, Warren is it?"

The Lieutenant stands up

"Well I was assigned to Station Avalon a couple of months ago and was very pleased with it. It was always my goal to explore the galaxy, and this would be  good opportunity for it. I was placed under a commander I didn't know at first. I met Commander Burke on my arrival, from that time I had the feeling we wouldn't be best friends. But I didn't care, as long as I would be working like I should everything would go the right way"

Warren mumbled a bit and then continued

"So Commander Burke was my commanding officer. As I reported in, he gave me no space to express my experience or abilities. This would go on and on, and yesterday the burden was to much for me"

"I don't want to yet form a opinion sir. Not until we speak with the cmdr."

"I see. Lieutenant, can you explain to me the work rapport you had with Commander Burke?"

"I have no idea, I think he already disliked me on my arrival"

OFF: Is that all you're gonna ask Mike.

"But Commander Burke will also be held responsable right?? I mean, it wasn't only my fault, he provoked me..!!"

"Warren, keep your spirit high. I'm still uncertain about what will happen."

Warren said nothing.

"I'm sure at least I will be back at some point, bye Lieutenant."

Miller and Nickerson headed for storage, in Engineering.

*Suddenly, all lights go out on the entire station... Every single room, corridor and hall goes completely dark... And all access to the light controls are disabled for all officers aboard the station, even Flag Admiral Vorak.*
"Dark your days be. The light good Hermes can bring you. Ask good Hermes for the light, don't forget to say please."

*walks quietly to the back and watches silently*

"Did you ever calmly approach the cmdr about how he was acting toward you?"

*The admiral had been listening to the Commanders questions and the answers that were given by Lieutenant Warren. Now he and the Commander were leaving the brig, heading to Mr Burke*

"So Mr Miller, what do you think?"

Miller and Nickerson talked on the way to Warren's cell.

"Well Captain, this Lt Warren assaulted his commanding officer, Cmdr Burke. He's admitted to the assault, but I want to know, from a true mental perspective, what kind of men this two are. Do you understand?"

"Do you have any idea why he mistrusted you like this?"

(OFF: Sorry, kinda busy.)

"Hmm... Did Mr. Burke treat others like this, or just you?"

"Commander Burke will most likely face a formal reprimand, and possibly demotion. But it doesnt look good for you, Lieutenant."

"I will be waiting here "

"Understood sir, I will be on my way"

As surprised as he is, he walks out of his holdingcell and heads towards the Academy
