OOC: This is Hobson. Dean Starwind is on an extended leave, and so this character (who can have been an unrecognized senior engineer on board) is the acting XO untill Dean's return. Captain Ransom is now also on a short leave, while that goes on, this character is the acting CO.

Nasmith came quickly on the bridge. The contact that he would be put to the command staff while health problems disabled the CO and XO both, was quite a load. But he held it, and responded as he heard the message.
"This is Commander Tom Nasmith, in command. The Windsor is standing by".

"I went ahead and changed into the correct uniform I noticed in use. I am Tom Nasmith formerly of the USS Lothlorien. I caught a ride with the Lancelot and I suppose have..no where else to go after this. Maybe I can get a referral from you Admiral to get a good spot"

"I have no side arm. I am my own commanding officer. My name is Tom Nasmith and my rank is commander. I earned that rank for the record. I was chief engineer on the USS Lothlorien and was promoted to Commander for my work. My access code is my own buisness and information. I have just resigned from my cargo ship and have no active postion. I plan on staying here untill I finish and find a duty or if I am offered a postion here"

"My override codes are the commanding officers' codes. If you have them you know them. I am glad to have been called in. I am sorry though but I am not the one who write reports. I have been called in to work on it with my knowledge. Office work is not my job description. If we are near done with the information I would love to get to the ship and get on it"

"I guess it is! Nasmith, Tom Nasmith is my name. I was sent a contact and we were just a stones throw from you. I was asked to help with some sort of starship work. The Lancelot here that is our ship will leave me here if I can transport over"
