"We have about 834 meters to go until we reach ops, Sir. If my indications are corect there will be a large breach in the shaft on the side we are climbing up in aproximitly 15 meters with a diameter of aproximitly 4.2 meters."

*He announced tot he Admiral as he is keeping a sharp eye out for any other obsticales and looking out for his crew members.*

Taurik began his Starfleet career as a junior engineer on the U.S.S. Enterprise, NCC-1701-D, where he stayed until the destruction of the Enterprise, gaining a promotion to Lieutenant soon after. Soon into the Dominion War, Taurik was captured when his ship was destroyed, and he spent a large portion of the war in a Dominion POW camp, before being liberated in a Federation/Klingon push into Cardassian space.

Lieutenant Taurik spent a year on leave, and was transferred to the U.S.S. Evolution in the Delta Quadrant. He soon recieved a long-awaited promotion to Lt. Commander, and served with distinction, before becoming assimilated by the Borg Collective during a daring firefight. However, after being recaptured and de-assimilated, he was given a promotion to Commander for his heroics.

Commander Taurik was in acting command of the Evolution during the first encounter with the deadly Na'jigat, giving him the distinction as the first ship commander to engage (and be defeated by) them.

Taurik was given a promotion to Captain and transferred to the newly-built U.S.S. Rivendell, where he serves to this day. However, he was approached by an enigmatic man by the name of Legudon, who trained him in the psionic arts common to the Gallifreyan Order. He now lives a double life, a Federation starship captain, as well as a warrior of the Order against the Na'jigat.

"Very well, Mr. Matthews, I tend to agree. While your service has not been long, it has been exemplary. As such, I hearby promote you to the rank of Lieutenant Junior Grade, with all of the rights and responsibilities thereto."

"Er..yes, Captain." Sarpedon said, a little confused. Normally, he had more specific directions that '20 lightyears somewhere over that way', but he supposed that he could live with it. As they cleared the station, he used the astrometric charts to find an empty area of space, '20 lightyears somewhere over that way', and began warming up that jump drive.

Overhearing T`lana's comminque with the Captain, he 'pointed' the ship in the direction of travel, and came to an all-stop. The jump drive warmed, the ship shot forward, faster than any Warp drive could take it.

A short time later, the ship emerged from it's faster-than-light travel, coming once again to a complete stop. This time though, the only thing surrounding them were stars.

"Jump complete."

"I'm fully aware that you have next to no confidence in anyone that isn't cybernetic, but I have full confidence in my crew's abilities. Please forgive me if the opinion of a foreign guest does not sway such confidence."

Okies i got the Jedi part from T'lana like i said i am new and i don't understand how this works meaning ppl decide for themselves what to do and the outcome and the like or there are some bases? Also what am i supposed to do like i told T'lana i volunteered for a tactical/security with dreams of one day having my own command and Starfleet sent me as security officer here. So where am i stationed? Who is my direct superior and the likes?

Taurik walks into the holosuite and presses a button on the wall, activating a personally designed training program, designated Taurik Omega Two.

A single large crate appears in the center of the holosuite. Focusing his power, Taurik lifts the crate, weighing well over two metric tons, a few meters into the air. With a sweeping motion of his hand, the crate is tossed effortlessly into the wall of the holosuite, promptly disappearing.

Next, a few decoys of Jem'Hadar warriors appear. Taurik summons a psionic weave, and is able to destroy each of the decoys with something akin to a white phaser beam.

However, his entire body begins to throb, and as he stands after keeling over in pain, the entire world seems in slow motion. He removes one of his four rank pins, and drops it. It falls slowly, taking what seemed to be over three seconds to strike the floor. He retrieves his pin, and walks to the console, canceling the program and triggering the door. However, the door opens slowly, as well, discounting his theory that the gravity plating was malfunctioning. Once walking into the corridor, Taurik takes a look at the nearest Starfleet officer. Her steps were approximately 5.2 seconds apart. Suddenly, the realization came to him.

They weren't moving slow, he was moving fast.

*Spock, Blaze and Ardeth enters the tribunal chamber and sits down near nonir to listen to the trial*

"Vulcan tea, please."

Taurik takes his tea from the Admiral and sit down. They then begin to discuss the details of the mission, the attack on DS20, the encounters with Q, and the torture Taurik was put through.

"In fact, Mr. Q is still aboard the Rivendell. We have managed to get him to 'behave'."

enter the bridge after a long sleep and belanna begins diagnostics on the security systems nad tactical systems

computer: diagnostic complete in 30 minutes

Travis got up from the CO chair.

"Request permission to dock Ensign Matthews."

"This is Commander Travis to all stations, we're about to dock at Avalon Station, all crew will be given leave to the recreational facilities."

Taurik arrived in Transporter Room One and immediately stepped up to the pad. "Chief, set destination for the shuttlecraft Kelata, holding just off the port stern."

The team stood for a moment longer before dematerializing, arriving a second later on the Kelata.

Ship wide systems set to red alert.  All Systems are functioning normally.

I'm picking up several distress calls, Commander.  Not just from starphoenix.  It seems several uncharted planets are also under attack.  Sensors are unable to determine exactly what from this range.  Suggestion. Launcha  low energy probe to the co-ordinates.  I can monitor the probe from this distance.

Yes Maam.......Initiating docking Clamps now......*a few minutes later the ship shakes as it gets secured to the station*.......Maam Ship is secured........Should I prep the ship to launch immediatly if needed ?

"Droids dont feel emotion and we dont pester.  Infact, it was the crewmen who was showing his limited knowledge of starfleet vessels who was pestering me." HK47 said as he went over to Tactical station.

<Tubes exited from HK47s right and left arms, they inserted themselves into Tactical for a more readied response should the need arise>

"Phasers fully charged, shields are at full, photon and quantum torpedoes are at full operational status." HK47 said in his computerized voice.

*coughs*

Capt....While i was over on the skytoucher before i was ordered off one of the engineers alredy had disabled the engines.......Hes not going anywhere unless he can fix them himself......
