Mission 6: Revenge of the Na'jigat

[Morgan Freeman]

"Doctor O'neil, will you leave ensign Kassie and I alone for a few moments?"

[Will Karelia]

The Righteous rocked violently as it took a beating from the Na'jigat. An explosion flared from the ceiling, and gas began to leak. A bolt akin to lightning lanced from the cloud and struck the Defiant-class ship. A few escape pods left the ship, but very few survived. Another lightning bolt lanced from the energy cloud, and blasted the Righteous right in the belly. The ship split into several large portions, and the warp nacelles hung only by a few plates of duranium. The Na'jigat cracked the ship open like a coconut, and drained it's energy just as easily. Once the ship had been drained, they absorbed the final explosion as the warp core lost containment.

"Aye Sir". He continued to examine power readings.
"I have taken all torpedo launchers offline, and transferred thier total power to aid the Captain..If the sheilds will be uneffective, Sir, I can take thier power and divert it as needed, that would be a good deal of power".

"Captain, I can pull a trick to get more bang for our buck with Phasers."

Travis looked at the sensor readings.

"Keep an eye on they fain signal. If thats not starfleet or a friendly ship we may have double trouble."

"Captain, I recommend that we get through the catapult as quick as we can.  We have extensive damage and will not survive long in battle."
*Feeman works diligently at his station attempting to draw more defensive power from somewhere.

"If we have to, I suggest that we use the antimatter canisters to do max damage"

 We have a power falloff sir.  Reactor is at 150% and we are approaching critical.  We have to withdraw back to a falloff position sir.

A distress call comes onto the speaker.

"This is Admiral Karelia of the Federation outpost Deep Space Twelve. There is a Borg cube a mere 17 hours from our position. We require the assistance of any starships in range. I repeat, this is Deep Space Twelve, requesting immediate assistance from all nearby starships."

[Will Matthews]

"I was wondering sir..." He held a reluctant pause before finishing.
"If you might be able to give me a rank?". Another pause. "I can't..get the feel of being an officer for my first time when I'm still a cadet, sir"

[Morgan Freeman]

captain, I don't think thats a very good idea to engage.

[Will Matthews]

Matthews works with the controls for a long while before speaking again. "Sir, I have transferred power from the unneeded holodecks to provide to the shield power, I can continue to search for unneeded power uses for more power if needed sir"

=/\= Doctor ONeil To Captain Taurik. Sir I believe it is now imperartive to get Commander Freeman and the body of Commander Baphomet to Vulcan sir. weather that is by quick.
I have a reading of Baphomet that is sending Commander freeman into psiczoid phscosis that may kill him and leave baphomet in limbo with no way to get her back sir. They are both degenerating quickly sir.=/\=

OOC: I know I haven't posted in a while, sorry for  that, but I really don't know how I can play Chief Science Officer as a disembodied spirit.

IC: ~Commander, the make-shift Warpdrive will not take much more of this.
Perhaps if we servive this latest suicidal onslaught with a vessel that doesn't even meet Starfleet standards at present, maybe DS12 might have a spare one.

Yes I thought You might still be having trouble with it. Lets see if we can work it out with out needing surgery.

I think I might start with some heat treatment and manipulation. That usually does the trick, on humans anyway.

After thirty minutes of trying I feel the knee relax and expecting the nerve to move of its own I turn and get out a brace for the knee.

"Old fashioned I know Ensign but I think it is the best. Try to keep off it and rest as much as possible and this time make sure you return in a week to get it see too."
