Yes Chief and we soon start to move out and head in a couple of different direction. I shall be going toward the engineroom sir.

[Ardwyad]

"I'm receiving a message from the Evolution, that we're supposed to take distance. They're up to something, but prepare to follow them if they try to leave!"
*Suddenly a panel beeps.*
"A shuttle is leaving the Evolution! According to our scanners, it's a Dralian... Quarval! She's trying to escape! Catch her, now!"

A small ship appears out of a Gravitic rift close to the planet but doesn´t show up on sensors because of the type of hull design to it.

[Ardwyad]

OFF: since nobody else bothers to post here, I suppose I will speed up this story on my own.

*The Torran fleet continues to attack the Naederian homeworld and ships.*
"All goes well, Mr. Mentora. Within a few hours, we should have full control over Naederian space, effectively splitting the Nigillians off the Traquel and their other allies."
*Suddenly, Rikan and his Traquel fleet drop out of null space.*
"Aarggh, no!!! Now that's what I hate about these catapults, you can never know if a ship is going to drop out of null space near you, there are no sensors to detect it! All ships, target the Traquel fleet! Drive them back, we cannot afford to lose this area of space!"
*Mentora and Ardwyad watch how their ships head straight for the Traquel, but the Torran fleet had lost some ships during their attack on Naederia, while several others already sustained damage too, and the Traquel had twice as many ships, all still in good condition. Soon, the Torran fleet is outflanked, and the battle goes in their disadvantage.*
"Mr. Mentora, this is not good! If we keep our ships there, we risk losing our entire fleet! We must withdraw!"

[Rikan]

"I can't help but agree that we should look for anything that can help us against the Na'jigat, but perhaps a dedicated science vessel would be more appropriate for such a search?"

[Rikan]

Rikan had moved to the Tactical console when they picked up weapons fire on the sensors.

"Aye, Chief, charging plasma cannons."

Several spherical hatches open all over the hull of the Revox, and turret-mounted cannons emerge out of them. They begin firing blue pulses of energy at the Dralian vessel. The Evolution begins firing as well, and within seconds, the Dralian's port engine explodes, all but crippling the vessel.

[Rikan]

In the Chief's absense, Rikan moves to the command chair.

"Keep a teleporter lock on them. Should the Starfleet crew attack, I want so be able to get them off that ship."

[Rikan]

"Firing plasma cannons!"

A volley of blue pulses fly from the cannons, and smash against the shuttle's engines.

"Shuttle disabled. I have it in a tractor beam. Shall I bring it to the launch bay?"

[Ardwyad]

*Mentora cries out in anger.*
"Aarggh! Those Traquel are out of their minds!"
*He sighs.*
"You are right, chief, we must not send our fleet in a suicide battle we can never win. Withdraw all ships! We must give away Naederian space, for now. Instead we will attack one of their neighbours... not the Traquel, because they would surround us in no time. All ships set course for Nigillian space, that's where our next battle will be!"

*Ardwyad wants to answer, but Svensson had already cut the connection before he had a chance to do so. Then he looks at the viewscreen, and sees how suddenly the Evolution jumps into warp toward the distant borders of the vast space of the Delta Alliance.*
"They are... they are... breaking the warp speed limit of the Delta Alliance!"
*Ardwyad immediately turns around and sits down in his chair.*
"Break off the salvage operation of the Dralian's ship, and send a quick transmission to the other ship that we'll return as soon as possible. Determine the course of the Evolution, and begin pursuit... maximum warp! I'll do the explaining to the High Queen later! Engage!"
