I have also been working on a shielding device using a stationary warp field, though I have not managed to make it work so far. It has, however, saved my life by sending me foward in time, allowing me to escape the Borg attack to this base.

Thus, I believe you could start by reading all the data I have collected so far. You should also familiarize yourself with our other duties, such as the Astrometrics survey station and the Xenobiology lab.

This is the main building of the Research Facility, a five story building. Currently it is empty, waiting for the delivery of the equipment that is due to arrive with the USS Lancelot.

Please remember to install all the safety equipment as well as the special power grid and the computer core. Remember that the gel cannot excede 473 degrees Kelvin, so be mindful of the refrigeration network.

This is the main building of the Research Facility, a five story building, that houses an experimental warp core as well as special nacelles, an enhanced computer bank with ten specially modified neural processing nodes placed on a gel tank on the first floor. Across all the building there are holoprojectors and there is also one holodeck for simulations. There are also many emergency containment fields, fire extinguishers and an emergency transporter, which is constantly locked on the signals of all working and visiting the building. This transporter can take up to five persons at a time.

Also on the first floor is the Base's museum and cultural space, where theatrical presentations, lectures and other events are held, usually on the Amphitheater, which lies in the middle of an arboredo.

The second, third and fourth floor are completely taken by the Warp Field Research Lab.

On the fifth flour lies the Archaeology Department, filled with analysis tools and some old relics on tables.
