I am still awaiting the Tiberon's return, and I hope the mission turns out well. I have been in occasional contact with Jeff and he told me that they ran into some Romulans. Romulans... I dont know where Jean-Luc got his flair for negotiating with them. Anyway, on to more cheerful news; Omega Station now has its own tavern, The Irish Clover. Its a quaint, homey little place. It's definitely captures the Celtic spirit. I'm in the process of convincing the barkeep, Lucas Bailey, to let me set up a Rings board there. Ever since I took that trip to Ireland, I have wanted to get an authentic Rings board. Of, course, I would have to replicate one for The Irish Clover, because I highly doubt someone would make a trip all the way out here to deliver a Rings board.

Things have been running smoothly since I arrived here at Omega Division. I'm proud to say that we've doubled, or even tripled, the division crew compliment in only a week. The Tiberon has just returned from it's test mission, and according to Cmdr. Freeman, it went flawlessly. I hope Omega Division can keep up this streak of 'good luck' for a long time.

I have been busy enough to keep me away from my logs. We have commissioned 2 new starships, the Sequoia and the New Orleans. The Sequoia is a fasta attack frigate under the command of Gordon Freman, while the New Orleans is a tactical carrier under the command of Julia Rellek. The Tiberon and Sequoia ran into a Romulan Dreadnought about a month ago, and the ships were so badly damaged that a complete overhaul was necessary. Anyway, the New Orleans is mission ready, and I wish Captain Rellek the best. If our Romulan problems keep up, she will need it.

I have recieved a disturbing message. A distress call has been sent from beyond the Quantum Net. The origin is still unknown. I have forwarded the message back to Admiral Hayes on Earth, but I doubt the techs there will have any better luck than me. I am still deciding on whether or not to sent the Tiberon to investigate. It is a new vessel, and the crew hasn't had much experience in those kind of dangerous conditions. I hope this all turns out ok.

I have been too busy to record logs, but I can sum up the last week in one sentence: Deep Space 12 was captured by the Romulan Coalition. We are at Avalon Station right now, but I'm hoping Admiral Vorak will lend me the Evolution and Skytoucher, and Omega fleet, along with the Cortez, can head back there and beat those Romulans out of my station and back where they came from.

The Tiberon will be departing to investigate the signal in the Quantum Net today. I would be lying if I said I wasnt worried, but I have complete trust in the crew. Admiral Hayes replied to my communiqué, and as I suspected, they couldnt figure it out either. Captain Keach's crew, I believe, will be kept on a need-to-know basis.

We have finally defeated the Romulan's, and Starfleet has retaken DS12. We have encountered a new group of races, the "Delta Alliance", to whom which we owe our success. I look forward to dealing further with them. The Sequoia has been destroyed, rammed in a cataclysmic explosion with a Romulan warbird. I have already begun construction of her replacement, the USS Ares.
