A sad ending... one would not be able to go down without the other.  All or nothing.  But at least the Corporation has the knowledge, and technology... Starfleet does not.

Macintosh is a #### of a lot better than anything the corrupt Microsoft can put out. Believe me, I have used both, and they both have their merits, but in the end, Macintosh, specifically OS X, is a more stable platform. Sure, it doesnt have near the program compatibility of Windows, but the programs it does have are very impressive. Not to mention, Mac is one of the most capable graphics editing platforms in the world, if not the best.

What is going on is the corporation going to end?What is going to happen to those that want to join the corporation?

Your input will be missed very much and I hope you will reconsider your thoughts.....your the right Corp Leader I think there is not just someone who can replace you..

There will be no update no more of the Corporation WebSite. So Rena/Hope/LilQue will have not else to do except playing her role.
The only exception to this Rule is that : when a Particular Ship will be destroyed, I will update... But, only whe this Particular Ship will be destroyed......

The Corporation had to deal with a lack of interest and misunderstandings. Many people don't understand the Corporation and its ideals, or not fully. Perhaps because they have never enquired about it.
But rather than closing down the Corporation, my intentions are to help it grow stronger, but of course nor me nor Winterspoon can do this alone. We will need the help of the people willing to join the Corporation. Thanks for showing you care So don't worry, the Corporation will not die.

It seems as if, as many Expansion Members are claiming it, I'm not the right person for the Corporation and that is why the Corporation is failing.

So, as almost all the people in the Expansion RPG do not want me anymore, do not want to understand me, do not understand WHY I'm so bitter and angry,

I QUIT the Expansion RPG.

Someone wants to take over the Corporation? I give everything!!!!

I have made many efforts, for months (if it is not for a full YEAR), to please you, EVERYBODY. I have made effort to shut up my pain and my misery. I have made efforts to update the site and the boards so that everybody could be interested in the Corporation....

HOW am I rewarded?
By a total lack of interest of YOU and by fights, fights and fights. NOw, the ChatServer problems. Too much is too much. I have enough of my personal problems to tolerate your self-esteem. Oh, some of you have registered to the Corporation? To do what? This is not the solution to the lack of interest of the Expansion Members and you KNOW IT!

You want the Corporation to do what you want with, you have it now. And you can still play your Expansion RPG. But you will not have my StoryLines. They are deleted. You will not have the original files, they are mine and on a CD-RW archive.

Winterspoon, Expansion is a network of links that WE have built.
Remember the 1 + 1 = 3 lesson?

Starfleet + Corporation = Expansion

You can have Starfleet on your own.
You can have the Corporation on your own.
But together, they form a third whole, and that we call Expansion.

If one of those two are taken away, Expansion no longer exists. Or not truly.

Winterspoon, I would have appreciated it if you had at least talked to me about this. Am I not your other and only equal in Expansion? Then why do you ignore me?

For me, it is simple.
Either Winterspoon keeps the Corporation, or Expansion will truly be for sale and closed if nobody shows interest to take it over.

Yes. Dalen the most important thing here is YOU. Even if you did leave and expansion some how stayed open it just wouldnt be the same. Yes sometimes people fight. Even the best of friends fight sometimes but we've been through so much as a group and gone so far do you want to give up now? after everything? It will sadden me very much if this ends. I have gotten to know many people here that I consider friends and one of those people is YOU. I would miss you very much if you left. But my point is all the people I have talked to DONT want YOU to leave JC they want YOU to stay. Our concern is not for Corp right now, it's for YOU. You're our friend and we dont want to see you leave. Please.  

ok well I have something to say...I am not ready to take on a divison let alone a whole big thing like the Corp...I want everyone to know what i told JC...not Dalen but JC himself lol......I know sometimes I don't agree with what he says and this coming from me to swallow my own pride takes alot....and means that JC is a strong leader even if we disagree....so here it goes!

I don't really have the right to comment on this board, but I'm going to throw my opinion in anyway. I don't know who any of you are, and I don't have a clue as to the politics of Expansion. I don't know who plays which characters or who's involved in power struggles or whatever. I'm just a guy who stumbled on this thing a couple of months ago.  And I like it. And I'd hate to see it go.

I've enjoyed playing the game, because it's fun. Frankly, it's become part of my daily routine -- just like checking my email. And I try to post if I have anything relevant to say. Sometimes my ideas get shot down; sometimes they don't. In the end, who cares?

Anyway, sorry to ramble, but I think you guys have set up a great system here. I'm an old Star Trek fan and an old RPGer (back when we had to play with dice, paper and pencils), and this is the first online RPG that I've gotten involved with. Personally, I think it's worthwhile, and worth saving, and worth putting aside individual differences for. But that's just me. Feel free to kick me out, but I just needed to have my say.

Already, by having given LilQue The Corporation Site and Boards, I feel *relieved* from the pressure. I feel better. There is no more anger, no more fury. Only emptyness, bitterness and a weird sense of serenity.

Now, it's up to you.

I seem to recall something similar happening a while back. I know I'm not as important as Winterspoon, but I got mad at David...and him at me for a long time. JC brought us back together. Now, I hope I can return the favor.

Winterspoon, I can understand where you are coming from...and I respect that. And I understand the pressures (at least some of them) that you have been going through. So, this is what I propose. The Corp stays, and you stay...not as a division head (not for now...think of it as a vacation), but as whatever other character(s) you might have in the RPG. Thus, you can still be a part, the Corp stays, and Expansion remains as well.

Now, Winterspoon, we want YOU to be here. Ok, we may not fully understand what you want for the Corp, but what is important here is YOU. YOU are what matters. The Corp is just an aside. Notice, Dave always said "if Dalen Winterspoon leaves, Expansion will close.", he didnt say "if the Corp leaves, Expansion closes." YOU are what matters.

Dalen & Vorak, is my proposal acceptable to both parties? If not...then all of this hard work will have been for naught. And sadly, all this will end. There are a few I know...but won't name who do seem to enjoy causing trouble...but with adversity come strength. Wwe must stand against those who are that way. To quote Lord Elrond in LotR; "You must unite, or you will fall." Well, it seems we are falling...but that can be changed.

My proposal, to ease your way, is that Brendan Man Tuil becomes more active and Susann Winterspoon is accepted as the Major Senior I was planning to grow into the StoryLine of the Corporation. So, LilQue is effectively the Boss of the Corporation, like Dalen is TOO.

Susann Winterspoon must fight the Renegade Brother, Galen Winterspoon, so that Dalen Winterspoon can be relieved from the family disease he has as burden... Susann Winterspoon must kill Galen Winterspoon. Because none of the brother can't kill each other. Either Dalen Winterspoon will die.

Brendan Man Tuil has been adopted by Dalen and Susann. You have not understand the story between Dalen and Brendan because you did not give more time for the StoryLine to grow, because not enough member to concentrate uniquely on Dalen and Brendan. And me neither. This StoryLine is CRITICAL for the Corporation.

If Dalen dies, Brendan will too. And you will have to face the Greatest Danger you have never known before.

I have revealed one StoryLine of THE StoryLine. That is an effort I make... Once again!!!

LilQue will be the Major Senior.
I will ask her if I can play as Brendan Man Tuil... and the Revanche Team because the Revanche Team is linked to Brendan.

But it is the only thing I can do...

i see. Because i've been trying to join for the longest but i can't join either starfleet or the corporation. I don't have that Java Vm. Can't get it to work.

who is it that doesnt think Dalen is doing a good job? Can you do it better? No, ofcourse you can't.

I've put alot of time and work into the characters of expansion, building the characters, making them 'live'. But that's nothing, compared to the people that provide the very world our characters play around in.

Stefan (Dalen), please don't leave, you rock our world, without you this game wouldnt exist in the first place. I don't believe that anyone ever will be able to fill you're shues.

David (Vorak), don't just give up, even if It's hard to keep up with the ones that only whine all the time, and do nothing to improve the game-play.

What matters is that we're a bunch of people that make the game evolve, instead of quiting, continue with this wonderful online RPG we all learned to love

I must say that this whole situation has had an unexpected turn, and in fact one I like. It encourages me to continue with Expansion.

I think it is one of the best ideas I heard in a long time, Winterspoon, if you would share the leadership of the Corporation with someone of your choice. You told me more than once in the past "don't try to do everything yourself alone, you'll fail in the end" and this I believe may be what happened here too. And you will be able to approach the Corporation from another perspective yourself, with this idea.
Something not only you, but also the Corporation itself, and everyone, may benefit from.
A "balanced" deicision, I could say, and I like that

Expansion will not close. Expansion will continue. But this time, we must handle problems before they become too big again. That means for you, Winterspoon, if you feel a certain pressure coming on yourself you feel that is too much, we work out a solution, before it becomes a real problem.

With Lilque becoming the CO of the Corporation more or less, there will have to be some practical things worked out. For example: who will update the Corporation website if/when necessary?

This idea has my full approval, and I will support it wherever I can.

Don't worry for you, guys... You are working for the Corporation Interpol and this Group of the Corporation is happilly working well...
The Corporation will still continue but, for now on, it's a full Desert... Like the Nevada Desert in Tomb Raider 3... All I hope is that some people will be, ONE DAY (I don't believe in miracles, you know?), interested in the Corporation Goal...
The Corporation HQ Board is restored and the site will be updated... But the Corp Fleet (not Interpol) has only one Ship active, the Cheyenne Fury and a reduced team. I don't say anything about the Restrainer, because its team is more reduced than the Fury. So...
The DujYay Revanche is on travel to Avalon and, apart Sarah Garcia, I play with my own Characters... and can't develop fully the Corporation Storyline...

Last detail : I need some reports about the Achieved Missions of the Corporation Interpol. Can you please post something in the Corporation HQ Board?

You know there are a lot more people involved in this.  Closing Expansion simply because JC leaves the coporation is silly.  There are so many others that have put in time into this thing to make it work.  For me example I have busted my rear trying to make my division grow and be as active as it is.  So many people have met people through this RPG.  Please Vorak think about the OTHERS that have put time into this.  If JC Wants to leave let him leave.  It will be okay.

guys...I can't handle a CMO postion very well...let alone the CO of the corp....why me! why me JC........I might have the ambition to do it but not the time...I will help but I can't take over! You don't need to leave! come on! guys can't we talk about this? lol...ok

Humm, Mr Ramsey, it would be wiser to choose definately your place in the Corporation. Senior Keriadoc has seen you in Deska, in Kythal and in Morgenstern. Senior John Boon has also find your presence in Morian Base... As you are assigned as Captain on a Ship in Deska StarWays, please, stay in this position. And ask for a mission...
Otherwise, you will have to face a Council of the Seniors....
