*Skon enters the shuttle*

I shall begin adapting the sensors as soon as I've taken a look at the new data collected by Lt. Oliveira. I'm patching the shuttle's computer into my science station and downloading the data now.

Sir, I've analyzed the data provided by Mr. Oliveira and its implications are most curious. I am receiving a null reading from inside the rift, but due to the large amount of gravometric radiation, I believe that our scans are being deflected. The data is sketchy, but it appears as if the Rivendell has been sucked into a sort of "gravity prison." I cannot tell if she's been transported somewhere else, or if she's been trapped within a "contained" artificial singularity that holds her in a space that our sensors cannot penetrate. We should be able to tell you more once we've explored the source of the beam. Please continue to update us with additional data from the ship's sensors.

Aye, resuming present course. 1/4 impulse.

At this speed we will cross the "moon's surface" in six minutes and twenty seven seconds.

I am opening all comm channels so they can talk to us if they want, even though you said they use a diferent way of comunication.

Ricardo Oliveira

off: I made too many characters and i do not have the time to play with all. So the brief existece of this one is now terminated. Hoppefully, there is another helm officer on board. Farewell.

Captain, the deflector beam is now at full power and it appears to be working. I am receiving some interesting readings from the NSC ship. Her engine power is down 40 percent and her tactical systems appear to be offline. I believe the telepathic creatures are taking control of the vessel. Counselor, are you receiving any mental impressions from the beings?

This is Captain Göransson, that is indeed a good decision.

Captain, It is -- curious -- that both ships should pick up the same sensor distortion. I hesitate to speculate without more data, but it could be the effect of a localized anomaly or perhaps the residual bleed from a cloaked ship that previously visited this system. I shall continue scanning the M-Class planet.

OFF: I'm just playing along with this idea. If it's screwing up the mission, tell Skon to wipe the dust off his screen.  http://expansionfleet.sparks.priorweb.be/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>

*Skon pulls out some tools and begins work on the shuttle's sensors*

Mr. Vartin, I believe I can have the sensors adapted by time we reach orbit, so we should be able to do a closer scan of the surface before we land.

Skon

Fascinating. Since we haven't heard back from the ship, I can only assume that the interference we're experiencing may be causing problems with our communications. Continue your approach, but be ready to pull back. Counselor Stiegler indicated that the aliens are not happy with our presence -- and they've already attacked the Rivendell -- so we have to be ready for a hostile response. But we need to get closer so we can gather as much data as possible and determine what we're up against.

"Captain the NSC Starship is coming closer to us. It's weapons are locked on us, I suggest we make some room between them and us, or let me fire a warning shot"

Yes I heard Lt. I dont like this either. But the only thing we can do right now is to wait and see. Then I´d like to blow those bastards to space-dust...

*Aboard the NSC Starship*

Lieutenant: "We didn't destroy their deflector, sir. They are still sending that beam and they even increased it!"

"What! I want every weapon ready to fire, on my command......"

*Suddenly the commander was interrupted by an enormous shock*

"What was that?"

Lieutenant: "Sir....something is happening down here. I am not getting any communication from the Engineroom or Tactical...We've also lost power on..."

*The Lieutenant mumbled something but then he looked at his commander*

"Sir....it's the slaves....they are fighting us!"
