The Battle of Avalon

Lurado followed and took a seat in the center chair.
"We have no time for a roll call, we can run controls ourselves if the need comes, all power that can be spared will be put to speed".

"Take the Helm Lieutenant. I will see to the crew situation if we succeed in this vital situation".
He listened intently as the situation at the station seemed to intensify.
"..We can't be far...The calvary is coming".

This is Flag Admiral Vorak speaking. We have recently received word that an attack on Avalon Station is impending. The enemy in this case, is the Na'jigat, a species that exist of pure mental energy and thus are unable to be killed by conventional weapons. Also shields are useless. This is a call for all ships of all divisions, with a request for military assistance to the highest possible degree. Avalon Station is about to be attacked soon, and the impact will be grave. Please send all available ships to Avalon Station. If this station falls, then the position of Starfleet and the Federation in the Delta Quadrant will become unstable.

"Commander, you have received orders from Flag Admiral Vorak to return to Avalon Station. We do know that your current position is in Delta Alliance Space, but we want you to find the fastest way back here, but do this without violating the rules of the D.A. We need the Skytoucher in the Avalon defence and our time is limited.

[Techerakh]

Several Gallifreyan cruisers drop from hyperspace, and begin approaching Starbase Avalon. A wide-beam transmission goes out to the Starfleet defense force.

"This is Master Techerakh of the Order of Gallifrey. We have come to defend this outpost from the Na'jigat."

[Baphomet]

"Captain Lurado, this is Lt. Commander Baphomet, I am transporting the Shift-Drive to your engineering"

An Object the size of a small cargo container materializers in the Skytouchers engine room.

"You will need to install this immediately and configure the Navigational Deflector Array for a 15 second continuous burst of antigravitons, which the Shift-Drive generates and you will need to replace the INS generators."
"We plan to create a null void before the Na'Jigat."

*After Commander Rasmain had heared the message from both Admiral Vorak and Montrell, he immediately ordered a full stop and told the helm to turn the ship around and calculate the fastest way back to Station Avalon, Warp 3.999. The Commander was hoping that they would not encounter any D.A vessel during their warp travel through their space, as their was not time to explain*

*Rasmain steps out of the Ready Room and immediately turns to the helm*

"Helm, how far are we from Avalon?"

OFF: I really have no clue who is still aboard, but would one of those who are still here take the helm position. It's crucial that this postion (and tactical, but I believe that position is filled http://www.expansionfleet.com/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>) is filled during the upcoming battle.

Immense psionic reading can be seen on the scanners of the fleetships. Space looked calm for a moment, but gained a slight violet tint as the Na'jigat clusters moved into the area.

Out of nowhere, a small, golden vessel flies out of warp and right through the Na'jigat, and stops.

The vessel takes up a posture similar to that of the Na'jigat. Suddenly, more vessels of varying class began to arrive in the same manner. One at first, then more. Tens made way to hundreds.

A glow could be seen on many of the vessels as their plasma weaponry warmed up.

A message came through on the subspace radio. "Captain Taurik to the fleet," it said.

"Battlestations."

A long while later the Skytoucher arrived in visual distance from the station.
"Open a channel"
An officer engaged communications.
