Due to unfortunate circumstances... I will have to close Vanguard. (November 7th at the latest) The ships will be transfered to windsor and will be under mr. ransom's care. Why? Because certain circumstances have come up at home and i have to leave. I really don't want to. But, life comes first.
I enjoyed my time here, and have enjoyed meeting everyone and interacting.

Well, after some work (and still more work) I would like to announce Expansionfleets new sister fleet, Star Trek Legacies. It's a play by post, forum based, role playing game. It spans the 22nd,23rd, and 24th Century of Starfleet and and allows a ST fan to rpg during those century. Serve along side Archer, kirk, sisko and more! Go where no one has gone before!

It's not the Atlantis Ocean that is close to New Orleans.
New Orleans is surronded by Lake Tampanie to the North, Mississippi River on the East and Gulf of Mexico on the South.
Just to tell you how close this was to me, if Hurricane Katrina moves 40 miles more to the West, I would be feeling it's affects. I live 100 miles inland from Galvestion, Texas.
Houston Texas and the Astro dome is about 25 miles from where I live.

News Announcements / AN UNFORTUNATE EVENT

A long time member of Expansionfleet. Though not very well known, Justin Gentry. (also known as ZD-360...) Passed away today due to diabetes. He was battling what was thought a cold,then turned out to be tonselitis,then suddenly he died. He is survived by his two sisters,mother and father. He was an awesome friend and an avid rpg'er...his memory will live on.
