U.S.S. Evolution Mission 13: The Battle of Avalon

OFF: I am still around. Just dont know what to post. I guess, seeig how I am the cheif ops officer, I will start preping the ship for decom. and get it ready to be scrapped.


*After he moved all of his belongings from his quarters Keaith headed for the bridge to prep. the ship decommissioning. As he entered the bridge he looked about the bridge and sat at his counsel. He activates the LCARS Screen and begins his work.*

Captain . He is a Cardasian, Not ass the saying goes sir, the most charitable race or the most trustworthy sir, but The Fact that he is worried so warrent investigation sir.

[Bryan Hannah]

Hannah burst into the bridge, and stands at the rail behind the command seats.

"What's going on? The captain made a big speech about an unwinnable battle and dying. Just what's all that about?"

[Legudon]

*Legudon appears on the bridge out of nowhere.*
"That may not be necessary, admiral."
*Calm as ever, he walks toward the captain.*
"Surely you remember me, Legudon of the Gallifreyan Order."
*Then he nods at admiral Vorak.*
"And I believe we have met before too. I have some good news for you, Avalon Station was not destroyed. There was much damage done, but the station withered the storm. You, however, may not be able to unless I help. You were unfortunate enough to be in the direct flight path of the Na'jigat and the Heraan."
*He nods at the viewscreen.*
"Apparently, something has caused them both to turn around and flee as fast as they can, despite the fact that total victory was very near for them. This has never happened before, to my knowledge, and their behaviour is most puzzling, as I have not yet been able to determine what it is that draws them to it, or causes them to flee."
*He looks at Sanchez, and then at Kelli Lauren.*
"I have obtained some new energy and powers from defeating some of the Heraan, at least that's one advantage for us Gallifreyans that we didn't know about until now, and I should be able to cause serious damage to the attacking Heraan, giving you a chance to return to Avalon Station."
*He walks closer to the tactical officer.*
"Ms. Lauren, I believe your name is? If you would permit me, I'd like to make a brief use of your tactical console. I intend to fire phasers at the Heraan, while focussing on mental energy and invisibly channelling it toward the Heraan using your phaser beam. This will cause an unexpected blow, after which I expect they will retreat."
*Then he looks at Sanchez and Vorak.*
"With your permission too, of course."
*The ship shudders heavily under impact once more.*

"Captain, we are currently treating all the injured people here in sickbay but new injured will be sent to Avalon's Medical facility. I hope I'm not right, but if I would judge the condition of this ship by the condition of it's officers. I would say that this ship is in a terrible condition. I've seen many wounded, but as I told you earlier, a full report will follow asap."

[Durandal]

"If you don't mind, Admiral, what is going on?"

=^= Avalon Station to the Fleet =^=
This is Flag Admiral Vorak speaking. I would like to thank all those who have answered our distress call so swiftly, for your presence here at Avalon Station. It takes courage to stand at the frontline, facing an enemy that apparently cannot be defeated, but we cannot stand by and face our own destruction without defending ourselves.

The battle to come may appear hopeless, but it is not. The Gallifreyans have left us with valuable information regarding some weaknesses of the Na'jigat. Since the Na'jigat is unable to travel through space at a speed faster than light, anything related to warp speed can make it a little more difficult for them. But do not misunderstand me here, for any kind of explosions or anti-matter bombs will only fuel the Na'jigat, and make them stronger. They are able to feed of any energy in existence. But light speed can be used to our advantage.

Gather warp particles, which are emmitted by your starships while travelling at warp speed, and use these particles in your shielding and station's structural integrity. I am aware that this is not easy to do, but if your scientists and engineers work together, it may be possible.

Another option is the Soliton Wave, a subspace wave of energy that does not diminish and obtains warp speeds... This could be used to drive back the Na'jigat, and though it will not damage them, it may cause the Na'jigat cloud to disperse and become separate clouds that are therefore less powerful and don't have the ability to communicate with one another.

We have two agents among our ranks of the Order of Gallifrey, including captain Taurik of the U.S.S. Rivendell, who are the only ones able to defeat - though not destroy - the Na'jigat. If we are able to disperse the Na'jigat clouds, making them less powerful, we give Taurik and ambassador Vurak the ability to defeat them more easily.

These are the only options available to fight the Na'jigat. Abandon your phasers, torpedoes or shields. They will be useless to you, and worse, make the enemy even stronger.

Here are my final orders. All the ships will take a battle formation, surrounding Avalon Station. You MUST hold that position as long as possible, and prevent the Na'jigat from breaking through the lines. I appoint three people on Avalon Station to be in charge of the entire operation. Those three people are admiral Montrell, admiral Karelia and Major Embries. Furthermore, I appoint captain Taurik as captain of the fleet, commanding the fleet from space. If communications with Avalon Station break down, you will follow his orders first.

The Na'jigat will most likely be here within a few hours. I want all ships and crew to be prepared. Live long and prosper.

*approaches Sanchez*

"Sir, should I route power to cloak our energy signiture, it should make us less apparent to the n'jagt"

[Randall Sanchez]

*After some time, Sanchez enters the bridge. A few officers were still there, wrapping up the last things before leaving. They notice that Sanchez is not wearing a Starfleet uniform, but instead regular civil clothes. He also doesn't wear his combadge.*
"Who all of the crew is still around? I may need your help!"

[William Wallace]

Captain our warp field is colapsing sir. It won't be a problem but for the fact that we won't be able to travel at warp with the Part Nacelle damaged the way it is which lends us to a large disadvantage in escape Captain.

[ftima]

*Ftima is confused when all of the sudden Zayan grabs her hand and holds her.*

"Zayan what are you doing, you know as well as I that you are still not well enough to travel.
Not only I know about youre pregnancy, I also know it is half human, so I presume it is also the captain his child.
Zayan dont you think it would be wise if we inform the captain about this, and with his permission I would more than happy to accompany you to Vontak Nor. You have to understand my position, there is nothing  in the world i would wish for than for Thomas to be with me, but I am also a Starfleet officer. That is my life Zayan, please dont take that away from me, I already lost so much.

Zayan think about it, let us contact the captain, he is a wise man, he will know what is the best for us. On youre own you wont make it, specially not now with the Na'jiat hunting on us."

[Nonir]

*Robert's heart soon to steady back to his normal pulse and he drifts in and out of conciousness. He trys to get up but the restrants prevent him from moving. He trys to speak but the words come out garbled*

"wuur em......I.....were..."
