U.S.S. Windsor / Moving SS Avalon
July 26, 2006, 06:40:21 PM
OOC: This is Hobson. Dean Starwind is on an extended leave, and so this character (who can have been an unrecognized senior engineer on board) is the acting XO untill Dean's return. Captain Ransom is now also on a short leave, while that goes on, this character is the acting CO.
-----------
Nasmith came quickly on the bridge. The contact that he would be put to the command staff while health problems disabled the CO and XO both, was quite a load. But he held it, and responded as he heard the message.
"This is Commander Tom Nasmith, in command. The Windsor is standing by".

Mission Planning (Intel Division) / Intel teacher needed.
September 05, 2006, 06:25:46 PM
Good day to you all, Intell. division members :P. I am the Commanding Officer of the Deep Space Academy, back on Avalon Station. I have just received a new cadet, who wants to learn about Intelligence. I currently don't have an Intelligence teacher in my crew, and I myself know very little of the subject. I was wondering whether there are any volunteers, willing to help me out. I you are interested, please report to my office on the academy. Thank you all in advance!

U.S.S. Lhasa / Moving SS Avalon

=^= Captain, I think our first drop out should be in 10 minutes, then we will have an hour of vulnerability at impulse, when the hour is up we can re-engage the warp field.  Sir, I was thinking, would it be possible to have the ships who are using there tractor beams to engage there shields to encompass the entire station for say 30 minutes ?, would buy us a longer period at warp and shorter downtime to recharge the stations shields.  The ships extended shields would act as sorta a buffer in a way." =^=

OOC: Maybe you've noticed that the post before yours was made almost two months ago. Therefore, I don't need any help with it.

*Cadet Russell sweeps in from behind attempting to draw fire with the Beta-1 series manuever.  Obviously it wasn't working as he'd hoped.*

Aye, Sir.  Switching to Kappa 0-2-0 series manuevers.  I'll calculate the best route and fire at both targets

*Sean quickly inserts coordinates into the navigation consol.*

Firing at the target on the right first sir!  Fire now, full phasers!

*Cadet Russell fires at the ship.*

Sir, the shield on the ship are now disabled.  I have also disabled the engines on that ship.  Only one more to go!

OOC:I'm still looking for a teacher, I hope it won't take much longer now, but I guess it might take at least a couple of more days. I hope you understand this and that you will wait patiently.

That's great Captain. At the moment we only have one cadet and the only thing he wants to learn is tactical and security. I haven't seen him around all week by the way...

"That might be right, Durandal, but we have other capabilities that you don't have. But let's talk about that some other time. We've got work to do now. If you have any other useful suggestions, you are free to share them with us."

"That sounds like a good idea, ensign. Could you run some simulations on the holodeck? If it takes too long, however, we should leave that part out. By the way, what's so interesting about the deck plating?"

Station Ops / Status Report for Major Chellick
June 13, 2004, 02:58:38 AM
Okay, here's what we'll do:

We will order every officer aboard the station to undergo a manditory psych evaluation.  Nothing punishing, simply to make sure that they are all compitent in their duty.

As a counsellor you must evaluate their psychological state and write a short report describing any problems you see.  If you find that they are not fit for duty you will report that and we will make a formal request to Admiral Nocturnus, Admiral Montrell, or Admiral Vorak to have that officer tested or held somewhere for processing.
