"Well correct Sir for the most part the species that we have encountered his this Quadrant have been rather Violent.  But I am hoping for a turn of the tide in that aspect because we could use some allies in this area of space."

*Harn enters the resturaunt, and staightens his shirt. He didn't know how to act at partys, but he was well tought not to turn down invitations. He began to mingle with the crowd, trying to look less nervous than he really was.*

(OFF: For some odd reason, Mr. Assis has only called me Huw, he said at the time I worked with him that he was merely confused, too many characters or something of the like.)

*Harn turns to his seemingly newfound friend and smiles*
"Actually, What I wanted to use them for was designed for a smaller power cell, as at the time that's all I had on hand, so I've had to modify it so the new ones fit, I havn't had a chance to test them yet. I do hope they work, if they don't, the device would become too bulky and not function as well as it should."

Well, Mr. Sulu. I think you can begin as soon as we talk to the admiral.

And the Admiral said thet he will have me to train you, so you can become a full starfleet officer. It wouldn't be practical to send you back to the Alpha Quadrant, would it?

*He becomes uncomfortable and shifts feet as noone responds to his toast*

*The sky goes dark outside, and a slight trembling of the ground and walls can be felt, as in the distance the loud crashing of debris falling on buildings and streets, can be heard. The lights start to flicker and become unstable...*

"...Energy..we need energy!"
"..Searching...ships at Dantor have all dissapeared! Gallifreyans are aware!"
"...Danger..Danger...Gallifreyans are becoming stronger..Energy..we need energy!"
*A huge cloud forms itself above Dantor*
"Scanning planet....Dantor is almost depleted...no signs of recovery...Gallifreyan thread is growing! Retreat!......"

*At that moment the huge cloud dissapears from planet Dantor and the planets atmosphere is at rest again. Sunbeams reach the surface; hurricanes dissapear and the sea is at rest. Dantor's biosphere is recharching slowly*

*Izzard enters the new bar, he looks around and is then joined by his staff, who begin to remove covers from the new chairs and tables. Izzard walks behind the bar and removes bottles of aliren wines.*

"A new place and a new start, I cant wait to get started."

*Izzard moves to the big gold coloured doors and declares the bar open.*

*As the two talk, Izzard makes his way across the room, which is full of people at this point and aloud with jazz music.*

"Now now gentlemen your not talking about work are you, try to injoy yourself , mix with other people or maybe a dance."

Well Mr. Sulu, I guess I can help you with that. Why don't you send me the specs of your device? Perhaps I can build some power cells for you.

Replicating them wouldn't be so good... Replicators tend to be somewhat incapable of replicating complex devices, you know. Their quantum accuracy is not as big as that of a transporter.... *starts some two minutes of technobabble*

Anyway, send me the specs and I'll see what I can do for you. *smiles*

*Harn is taken aback by this offer, but only slightly. He'd been dreaming of this moment for a long time.*

"Well, this is unexpected. I'd love to become your assistant, the only reason I became the cook at the tavern is because it was the only opening on the base at the time, and I prefer to have my feet on solid ground. I don't like space travel very much, my parents forced me to come here with the order to 'Make something of myself.' I've always been a tinkerer, and I seem to stumble on some great Ideas (such as the one I'm working on right now.), but...
I'm rambling, aren't I? I seem to do that when I get nervous, Feel I have to explain everything. There's only one cure for that: get my hands on something to do. When do I start?"

*Harn smiles back*
"I hope so too, and it seems very possible, this place could take the place of the one I'm running and free me up."

*Izzard turns to sulu.*

"A fine speech Mr.sulu however I dont think you should have given it when everyone was about to leave.Come have a drink with me before you go."

*Izzard walks to the bar.*

OFF; We are open you know and the klingon food is fresh and sometimes alive.

"Im just supsised You expected to find live food on a federation station."

*Izzard had just inished puting away his glasse wehn he notices Strider.He walked from the bar towards him.*

"Hello there Im alan izzard and I run this place can I perhaps get you a drink?"

Greetings Mr. Izzard I am looking forward to this fine evening that you have planned for everyone!  I have put out a base wide annoucement requesting all base personal to arrive, I would suspect that even the ESH and EMH's will be coming to the party to "get to know" some of the base personal.  Well I think i shall just wander around here if you don't mind and look around the place..  One of the newest facilities built yanno!

"I've worked with hologrammes before but I've never seen anything like your ESH."

*Izaard looks around the room and notices an empty table*

"Excuse me gentlemen but duty calls"

*Izzard walks from where the two are seated and starts to prephar more food.*

*Harn stands waiting in vain for a response.*

Astonishing, isn't it? This planet is fabulous. I have never seen storms like the ones we have here.

I think they are frightening and beautyful at the same time. It depends on which side of the window you are, I guess. *laughs*

I'm sory Mr. Huw, but I didn't get a proper chance to thank you for your help in the lab. Did those power cells do their job well?

I also wnt to talk to you about a project I had a long time ago... A cultural project for the base.

*Harn turns towards Alan*

*He went and sat at the bar*

This time I walk up to the door, again it is locked #### it is the first time I have had a good choice of real klingon food the ship board replicators don't get it quite right.

Leave a not stuck to the locked door, sir Owner, the Klingon food that you prepare do you do it from base or is it replcated.

Ensign Morga Harf

This is surprisingly good what Year is the Blood wine. The Glagh is quite good not as good as in Klingon Space but atleast it is alive. Unlike Replicated stuff.

*Izzard takes a tiny bottle of blue liquid from his pocket and hands it to Morga.*

"Here drink this, to prevent Glagh breath."

*The cloud of energy was delighted.*
"Energy... energy! Growing stronger!"
"Want more energy!"
"Receiving energy from their weapons!!!"
"But want more!"
"Seek all energy now!!"
*Parts of the dark cloud start moving into a different shape, as if it is becoming a tornado, extending its tail at the power core of Starphoenix Station. In a matter of moments, it hits the building that houses the power core.*
"Energy in there! Need the energy!"
*As the cloud hits the building, a huge explosive sends large pieces of debris in all directions, crushing down on other buildings, setting them all on fire. The tail of the cloud penetrates into the ruins of the building, seeking the energy source, and starts feeding from it. One by one, the lights and all systems go down in the different buildings on the station...*

"Thank you Mr.Sullivan, I will make this a night to remember.,ease take a drink or some food whille you wait."

*As Izzard talks to sullivan the gaming tables in the bar are activated and other members of staff begin to open up large tables for food and drink.*

I must say they are going very well indeed, sir. I am being helped by my holographic assistant SARAH. She's very good with complex matrix analysis... And I expect to have some prototypes being tested sometime soon. I'm not very sure that the improvement I'll acheive will be significant over the regular warp drives, though...

This quadrant has a very exotic subspace, and we'd benefit greatly from interaction and cooperation with cultures indigenous to this quadrant. Those however have been mostly aggressive, don't you think sir?

From the reports I've read those Loxians are rather violent...

*The doors of the restaurant slide open and the ESH enters, looking around curiously and snapping his fingers to the beat*

Well Captain, I barely knew your first officer. He seemed to be a fine man though. And it is a pity that the Sphynx has been decomissioned, she was a fine ship. I was happy to fight at your side when we repelled those pirates. I was the CO of the Lattes at the time. She has been decomissioned too, I'm afraid.

*Izzard entered the bar, activated the lights and started to remove all the chairs from the tables.He moved and unlocked the doors and started to clean glasses, waiting for the customers to come in.*

*Izzard appears a few seconds later with a plate of glagh and a giant mug of blood wine, he walks to Harf and puts the plate in front of him.*

"There you are, your from the Lancelot arent you?, has she returned from duty."

"Im glade you like it.The wine is of the best quality, given to me by the last chancellor of the hig council, its over 200 years old.I take it you like klingon food."

OFF: Sorry, i poted with the wrong character.

But Sir any Klingon would like to pronounce that I have had Glagh for dinner, had the bottle back and say keep it for the non-Klingons that would want it.

*Izzard clears the table and goes about his business.*

*A security team sent by commander Bostic entered sickbay and held positions at the doors.*

"Ah yes, why thank you for your hospitality, I am sure this place will be quite a fine establishment"

Ah that is very unfortunate mr. Sulu... Well I do hope things pick back up...

Ah things are well on the sphinx... The ship is decomissioned for the time being but i am hoping eventually she will have a fine crew... Its just so hard to keep crew out in the middle of no where especially in the Delta Quadrant!  And I don't think I am quite familar with Mr. thomson....  Perhaps are you thinking of my old XO Hobsbawn?

*Then the storm on Dantor increases and several buildings of the Starphoenix base collaps by the power of nature.
"..We still need energy...Dantor is almost depleted...to oppose the Gallifreyans we need more energy..."
"..Searching...Searching...Energy coming to us...ships are entering this part of space..."
At that moment the energycloud in space went away from planet Dantor and set course for the incoming vessels.

*walks into the restaurant carrying a PADD and talking to himself*

Ah, Admiral! I received the invitation to the opening party... I was busy at the lab so I had to bring some work to finish here... *smiles looking embarassed* Well, I hope you don't mind... I'll be through in a couple of minutes... I hope...

*keeps tapping on his PADD for some more seconds*

*puts the PADD on his belt and takes a seat*

"Yes, yes I am. But as slow as it was there, It's going to get a whole lot slower with this place up and running."

*Harn heaves a silent sigh, such was his life, noticed for what he was, not what he could become. He walked over to a nearby window and stared out of it, watching the happenings outside.*

"Well, I hope to be Mr.Sulu. So what do you think of the party."

*Izzard walks onto the bars stage and knocks a spoon against his wine glaas to get attention.*

"Ladies and gentlemen, firstly I would like to thank each and every one of you for coming out tonight for the opening of my new bar, its so good to see so many of you here and I just know that im going to injoy working here. Secondly I would like to welcome you all back anytime after all we are open 24 7. Finally, I would ask all of you to put your glasses in the recycle bins on your way out, and remember, go easy on the drink, you do all have stations to run."

*Izzard fills a single glass*

"I wish I had your self control Mr.Sulu, but im just an old fool."

*Pushes the ale to the back of his mouth.*

*He gets up and leaves*

Well Mr Izzard, With that much Blood Wine and  Glagh under my belt I shall return to the Lancelot before I get arrested by Commodore Bostic Not good for people to be newly promoted to have the poisition ripped from them.

"Well if youll excuse me,i need to clean the bar, just call when your finished."

*The energy cloud is drawn to a particular concentration of power at the station, and heads toward it fast, casting a dark shadow on the buildings below it... As it came within range, the inverse energy phasers were fired...*
"Energy... absorb energy..."
"What is this? Inverse energy! They try to trick us!"
"Ignore their tricks, they cannot weaken us..."
"They are annoying us!"
"We are being delayed! Gallifreyans may come soon, must hurry..."
"We will trick them back..."
"And we will take all energy at once..."
*At that moment, the dark energy cloud seems to expand as if to cover the entire landbase... but in fact it is moving toward the nearby ocean.*
"Water... water makes energy stream easier..."
"We will be able to assemble all energy and take it at once..."
*At that moment, what seems to be some sort of heavy lightning strikes into the ocean, several kilometers away from the station. The lightning seems to pierce into the depths of the oceans, and for an instant there appears to be a hole in the water... then the water begins to react and a huge wave begins to form. The large wave of water grows higher and more massive, as it sets for Starphoenix Base... In a matter of moments, the immense and high wave reaches the coastal area nearby Starphoenix Base, and the people on the base can see how the waves are taller than themselves... even taller than the highest buildings of Starphoenix base... and then the wave comes crashing down on top of the first buildings, and tons of water flows into the base, flooding the streets so much that only the highest buildings barely come above the water. The violent ocean water keeps flooding into the base, even tearing apart some of the smaller buildings and taking them with the stream, as the cloud hangs above the flooded areas, and begins to concentrate its power on an open area... The power of the energy field seems to look like a tornado coming down from it, heading for the water... and when it strikes the water, it begins to whirl with a heavy wind, as the Na'jigat cloud begins to extract all energy that is being flown through the water...*
"Energy... energy... Want more energy!"
"We still have part in space attacking ships..."
"They must make ships pay for this trick as well, and make sure they no longer delay us again!"
*And at that moment, in space, the separated part of the Na'jigat cloud turns aggressive, attacking all ships with what also seems to be a surge of energy lightning. The ships suffer a heavy shock, upsetting their systems as the ship is pulled back, away from planet Dantor.*

OFF: this is the last post I can make before I go on vacation. I won't be able to post until september again. Now you can continue the storyline and admins could post with Event Horizon, if they want. The idea is that the Na'jigat is about to destroy everything and everyone, when again the Gallifreyan cavalry appears. Gallifreyans are humanoid people, and the only species in the universe that is strong enough to fight the Na'jigat through mental energy. Even they can't defeat or destroy the Na'jigat, but they can force them to retreat - for now. I will ask Montrell to post as Legudon (main chief of the Gallifreyans) when he returns from his vacation soon. The Gallifreyans will use no weapons except pure concentration on telephatic energy. They are a species that does not like to interact with other species and will be short in answers, if they tell you anything at all. Little is known about them, and nobody really knows yet where they are from and who they are. But the war between the Na'jigat and the Gallifreyans has been going on from the beginning of time and will never end.
As for the Na'jigat, remember they can NOT be destroyed. You can delay them, confuse them a bit (but remember they CAN read your minds, they are the purest form of telephatic power as well) and besides trying to win some time, there's little you can do - but that doesn't mean you can make it spectacular, like I now just gave you some material to work with for some time

"Oh!  Mr. Assis it is so good to see you, how have you been?  How are your projects going?"

*turns to the Admiral*

*stands up and goes to Jonathan*

Yes We have just arrived a few days ago. Just waiting for the next mission.  There is far to much space for housing In the Officers Quarters of a station for my Liking
