Title: Mission 1: "The Fallen One"
Post by: Raszagal on November 11, 2006, 01:36:52 AM
Raszagal shifted slightly, and began to wake up.

"I... what...?"

Suddenly, she noticed she was being carried by Commander Harf, and threw herself out of his grasp. "Get off of me!" she yelled. By instinct, she moved to throw him into the bulkhead, but was shocked when nothing happened.

"What? No! What did he do to me? WHAT?" she cried, falling to her knees.

Ghemor stuck his hand between Spock, and the cell.
"If I may interupt here, and I have, I don't think her request is that irrational. My dear Vulcan friend, surely you are not allowing a blow to your ego to tell her that she's forced in the cell, and lying? Very unbecoming of such a powerfull officer on a starship".

"I said warp one, but I didn't say we'd stick with warp one! Accelerate to warp two!"
*Sanchez grins.*
"We have to check every warp factor one by one, shouldn't we?"

OFF: would be nice if the other departments start posting too... engineering, medical, tactical, ... There are only 3 people posting here and that's me, Durandal and Morga Hafr.

"From what you've been saying, they were quite eager to have you on their side. Did you offer them something? It sounds like they have some sort of plans to go after these Gallifreyans, that I assume you are one of. I am no expert on the Delta Quadrant here, but my curiousity is sparked, of what made them want you if they were reluctant".

"No, not desperate.  But you can stay in this cell, wether I do the mindmeld or not isnt important.  Trusting your word is the point.  You dont wish to do the mindmeld that tells us your lying and you dont need to be released.  Either way your off our backs."

Durandal accelerated the ship to warp one, wishing he could really stretch the ship's legs.

IC:Very good Commander Lauren I would have expected nothing less. That is why I decide on you to be the other officer on this mission.

After a short time to put on the environmental suit we joined Mr Techerakh onthe Transporter pad.

Keep a lock on the three of us Chief. Energise.

Shortly after this we were on the Planet with temperatures near the melting point of stone. Okay Mr Techerakh Commander Lauren can you pick up any lifesigns.

OFF: I assume Cmdr. Harf is sitting in the captain's chair on the bridge right now as I haven't arrived there yet. I was kind of hoping to have a slightly longer discussion with Techerakh first lol.

*Before they were interrupted, Sanchez managed to whisper to Techerakh:*
"I somehow doubt that she's willingly going to share all her knowledge of the universe with us very easily, if I'm to judge that from her attitude."
*Then he looks up at all the people that were suddenly around them.*
"Ms. Alexia, I was unaware of any transfers, but please contact commander Harf who will handle your accomodations from here."
*Then he faces Brodie.*
"Captain Brodie, I wasn't informed of transfers either, but then again, I've been used to command a small starship with a relatively small crew for years, and it's my first time as captain of such a large starship with twice as much crew. I have to get used to the fact that I have to memorize so many more names and faces now. Now to come to the point, yes we have someone to be transferred, although I'm not sure what to do with her. But I trust that Starfleet Command will come to a wise decision."

Techerakh entered the transporter room and stepped onto the pad without hesitation. "I'm sorry I was late, I wished to meditate shortly beforehand. Something is amiss here, and I cannot quite place it. In any case, I am ready to proceed."

Continuing the whispered words to Commander Lauren.

Yes but Traditionally I would have berated you on the Bridge. I have done nothing more than invite you to prove yourself as a warrior. to make up for the offence caused by your tardiness. Under the Chancellor you would have been forced to fight the storngest person on the ship. and if that was Martoks ship it would have been him.

Plus I think the Captain might find it strange to have you and I change places. I think he would start to ask some questions. I don't think he would miss the change some how, with you being a woman and human and me being a Klingon Male and all.

Placing Raszagal face first on the ground to stop her struggling to get free. Ms Raszagal you have had your powers removed. You will not be as much trouble as you were for us before. We will soon be at you accomodation for the return journey. With that I picked up Ms Raszagal and continued the journey to the brig.

Doctor Haefling I will allow you one hour to get her treatment started. After that you will not be asked to use anymore time on her.

Commander Lauren You are to leave her with two guards at all times.

A few moments later Ms Raszagal was in her cell and I was on my way back to the bridge.

*Bridge*

Good afternoon Captain The team is back with all people and one in custody down in the brig. I expect Mr Techerakh to be along very soon so that we could be up and away to get these people to their places.

"Raszagal, you did that yourself! You had the love and acceptance of the order and of your people, and you threw it all away! For what? Power! And what did it gain you?"

He looked with sadness as she absorbed all of this. "I am not without compassion, however. I cannot imagine how it must feel to be so alone and so powerless. I would advise you to seek out amnesty with the humans, they are good people, and can help you well in yout transition. But you are no longer a member of the Order. As much as it hurts me to say this, you are no longer welcome on our world."

"What do you have to lose?" Ghemor pulled a small chair to the front of the cell, his hand he placed back onto the phaser at his side.
"You realize that our good humans are going to cut you into several small cubes, examine them, then eat them. Oh no! It is not my kind you should fear. We Cardassians are benevolent. I am sure what you have thought to be rumor of Carsassian people has been actually, the truth about humans. Vulcans also, shy, bloodsucking people. You can confide anything to me, and I will be sure to take it in through my ears, and replay it to those who want it with my own twists".
He smiled warmly, and friendly.
"It's my way".

*Then Sanchez hears Ghemor through the commbadge.*
"I'm on my way. Sanchez out."
*He nods at Spock.*
"Very well, join me. Mr. Harf, you have the bridge."
*Sanchez and Spock step into the turbolift, and a few moments later they leave the turbolift at the deck where the brigs are.*
"I'm curious what information Ghemor has been able to extract from her," he said just before entering the brig area.
*Then the doors open and both Sanchez and Spock walk inside.*

Raszagal screamed as she was thrown into a brig cell. "Get away from me! Damn you all! The Heraan will kill you all, I swear it!"

The forcefield was erected, and the guards took their posts. Knowing they would not respond to her at all, she screamed out in her thoughts to her master, hoping he would hear.

Even through the hustle and bustle of the ship as it prepared to head back to Starbase Avalon, Master Techerakh could hear a very familiar voice. That of Raszagal, calling to him. Pleading to him for help. Although he had no intention of helping her, he was willing to talk with her, as she was no doubt in agony without her powers. He had never felt such an experience, so he was in no position to belittle her.

As the graceful master stepped into the brig, his robe flowing behind him, he stopped to talk to the guards. "May we have a moment alone, good sirs?"

The guards stepped outside, and he looked to the downcast exile in the cell in front of him.

"If you say so."

Durandal opened a commline to the rest of the ship. "All hands, report to code blue stations. We are initiating landing procedures. I repeat, all hands report to code blue stations."

Within a few minutes, the ship has touched down of the surface of the nameless, lifeless planet.

"Captain, if you are going to search for Raszagal, I suggest you do so quickly. I estimate that we have ninety-three minutes of safe residence on this planet, before either the semi-cooled surface begins to give under our weight, or the quantum filaments begin to penetrate the shields."

Ghemor smiles, and nods. "You have my word that it will, Captain. If you will excuse me...".
He pushed his console forward, and entered the bridge's turbolift.
"Security decks", he instructed. The ride down was short, and he exited on the deck he wanted. He searched the access doors until finding what he wanted, the brig. Stepping in, he looked upon the person, or as far as he knew, a person, sitting in one of the cells. He walked to it, and stood outside of the forcefield.
"Well, hello there. I hear you have had quite the rough time? And that you may know some particular bits of information that might come as valuable to some of the higher-ups.."
Ghemor put his hand on a phaser which was at his side, and smiled.
"Would you care to share it with me? I would dearly like to know. I am sure you will find it...prudent...to do so".

Now remember Raszagal I would like for you to live well here on this ship but the security officers are here to make sure that the crew of this ship is safe. I have also seen what you did to Commander Lauren and Harf in a fit of what you would call rage. It is okay. The hardened Crust of that planet is actually the safest place for this ship in the current situation. The Only place we can get out of some of the raditation that should have crushed us like a bug as soon as we came in here. We have goten so much information it will take starfleet weeks to go through it all and organise it into some useful information. I am sure Commander Sitgor Comming from a Security background would probably agree.

It is quite safe down there. Getting us there however is a different matter and that is left in your hands Ensign Trian

These Heraan wanted her for her power, she went to them for the same. The one who recruited her did not give any name or identity. There was little trust in the ordeal. But this one" He gestured to Razagal. "Had something to offer, so they figured. Whatever it was in abilities, I think it is gone. That is all I have gotten out of this, and it's all anyone will get I am sure. She has told me she will help Starfleet defeat whatever it is they're after. She is on our side now, I don't think new allies should be locked in cells, do you? I think there is trust between us enough to have an extra crew member for the time being".

<Transporter Room 1>

"Well im going to see the captain.  See you there." she said as she left the room and headed for the bridge.

*She started to sense a strong telepathic presense on the ship but ignored it, she hurriedly proceeded along the corridor and accidently bumps into the Sanchez almost knocking them both down, she quickly regains her composure and looks up and noticed who it was, she nearly fiented from the shock, but regains her composure.  Alexia was wearing Starfleet clothes of an NCO.  As well as supposedly looking like a Vulcan to all of those that perceived her as such.  She finally pinpointed the strong telepathic presense in the Captains companion*

"Im so sorry, Captain.  My names Alexia, I just transfered over with my husband and child.  Another Ensign by the name of Kirby Oaks transported over as well, he will come to see you when he can." She said saluting Captain Sanchez, while weary of his companion, she tried her best to not let it bother her as she blocked her mind from his attempts of reading her mind.

*He notices that Ghemor is watching the viewscreen with some doubts, and smiles.*
"Don't worry, this ship is currently protected by supernatural powers of the Gallifreyans, as long as you concentrate on the navigation, you'll do just fine."

Yes Captain I shall be ready in a moment sir, quickly finishing what I was doing.

Commander Wallace is it possible to beam out?

Wallace: Yes Commander Harf or you could walk out.

Commander I don't think that would be a good idea under these conditions.

Commander Lauren your with me meet me in five minutes in transporter room 1.

With that Commanders Wallace Lauren and I exit the bridge for the two destinations before Lauren Met in transoprter room one

Wallace and I went to the science labs to pick up the tricorders while Lauren went to the armoury.

I arrived with two tricorders and two environmental suits and Lauren arrived with a couple of phaser rifles.

"Commander Lauren I can't see that they will be anything to shoot but good thinking. I would have done the same as Chief Security officer."

And that was no small distance. She flew almost twenty meters, landing roughly on the ground.

Pain consumed the crumpled Raszagal. She lay in a heap on the ground, regaining her composure before she leaped to her feet again. She was certain there was internal damage, but she could shrug it off for now. Noticing her khala was off and on the ground next to her, she pulled it to her hand and ignited it. This time, she would not be so foolish. She charged again, but before she reached Techerakh, she threw her khala ahead of her and began to guide it telekinetically.

*Kirby had been looking at the transporter systems and hadn't heard what Alexia had said the first time. He barely managed to catch what she was saying before she left.*

"Oh, OK. See ya."

*He checked out a few more things before exiting.*

~Corridor 4-S~

*Kirby was walking at a fairly relaxed pace. He wasn't in much hurry to get to the bridge. For one thing, he wanted to look around the ship a little, first. Also, he was a little nervous about reporting in. After 15 minutes, though, he realized he was lost.*

"Darn it! How can I be paying such close attention to the ship and not know where I'm going?"

*He sighed. This wasn't the first time he had been lost like this, but he had hoped that growing up would have put an end to it. Walking over to the side of the corridor, he touched one of the panels.*

"Computer,"

*He heard a beep that indicated the computer was activated.*

"Could you direct me to the bridge?"

Computer: "Affirmitive. Please follow the arrows."

*With that, the nearby panels displayed flashing arrows that indicated the direction. He followed them until he reached a turbolift, which he entered.*

~Turbolift 02~

"Bridge."

*Kirby waited a moment while the turbolift traveled to the bridge. When it arrived, he stepped out.*

~Bridge~

*Kirby didn't see the Captain, so he walked up to the person in the command chair.*

"Excuse me, Sir, is the Captain here?"

Techerakh parried every attack quickly and lightly, knowing she would tire soon. As soon as he saw his opportunity, he grabbed her weapon hand with his free one, and spun to slam his back into her torso. Taking the opportunity with her stunned and blinded, he kneed her in the hand to knock her weapon into the air, and cleanly cleaved it in two with his own.

Spinning around, he gave a slight forced push that knocked her to the ground, thoroughly defeated. "And I won't give you the opportunity to do that."

He deactivated his khala and reattached it to his belt. With Raszagal panting on the ground, he knew he wouldn't need it. Instead, he removed a crystal, slightly larger than his hand, from his robe.

"I loved you, Raszagal. You were like a daughter to me. And now... well, as I said, I will do what I must."

He gripped the stone with both hands, and pointed it at Raszagal, closing his eyes. She seemed to writhe on the ground, and a brilliant display of light blue energy streamed from her chest and into the stone.

"Congratulations. You are the first Gallifreyan to be ejected from the order. The first to be stripped of their power. You were correct, Raszagal..."

A tear dropped from the warrior's eye. "You are my apprentice no longer."

Kelli signaled to the junior officer at the Mission Ops station. "Ensign McManus," she called, "Take over here. My shift's over."

She stepped into the turbolift and spoke up. "Deck three, officer's quarters."

The turbolift deposited her on the third deck, where she moved along the corridor, looking at the names emblazoned on the door, until she found one that read "03 | Lauren, Kelli". She stepped in, and found her quarters perfect and meticulous, as she had left them when first moving aboard.

Kelli removed and recycled her uniform, and stepped into the bathroom. To her satisfaction, she found that a combination water/sonic shower had been installed. As the water ran over her, she remarked in her thoughts how long it had been since she had access to such a luxury.

After dressing and brushing her hair, Kelli retired to bed. Considering she had just worked a sixteen-hour double-shift, not to mention getting thrown to the ground rather hard by that Gallifreyan, she was quite sore and tired, and it took no longer than twenty seconds for her to fall asleep.

Techerakh was about to leave, but turned around for one more moment. "You know, captain, you seem to be having a lot of dealing with the Council." Techerakh pulled a small amulet on a metal chain out of his robe. "I would like to grant you this, captain. It is a Khaydarin Amulet, made of the same stone that we Masters use to focus our power. It will allow even a T6 such as yourself to maintain an immediate form of communication with the Masters of the Council, should you ever need it. Consider it a gift, a token of our appreciation. *Sanchez gets up and walks to the door.*
"Let us return to the bridge and get started, before the admirals wake up and give me another mission."
*They both enter the bridge. Everyone looks surprised that suddenly someone is with Sanchez. The captain immediately holds up his hand to Kelli Lauren.*
"No need to draw your phaser. He is a guest on this ship."
*Sanchez sits down in his captain's chair and motions to the Gallifreyan to sit at the empty seat next to him.*
"We are to find a lost person, someone named Raszagal, in the Quantum Singularity Network. It may seem an impossible task, but we've faced far more difficult missions before."
*He looks around at his crew.*
"I know this was supposed to be a simple shakedown cruise, that was my intention too... but after all the Gallifreyans have done for us, this is the least we could do for them. Helm, set course to the Dark Passage, and since you've been itching to test the speed limits of this ship, maximum warp!"

Again, the young but nearly defeated Raszagal had to pick herself up from the ground. She was amazed at Techerakh's fighting style. He was a Templar as well, trained with a specialty in khala attacks and melee combat. Yet, he was fighting like a Sentinel, the caste of Gallifreyans that fight primarily though their psionic ablilites.

She picker herself up again, her knees wobbling slightly, and pulled her blade to her hand again. This time, she walked up to Techerakh before attacking.

"I should have known. Gallifreyan trickery at it's finest. Rest assured, I won't give you the opportunity to do that again."

Adun was an ancient Gallifreyan warrior, existing long before you humans even crawled from the primordial ooze. He was, and still is, the most powerful Gallifreyan to ever have existed, and was the only one who has successfully managed to actually kill the Na'jigat. Unfortunately for him, he killed himself in the process, as even he was not able to control that kind of power when truly unleashed. The interesting thing is how he managed it. He didn't kill them solely through his own power, but rather he channeled the power of the whole order. As you can imagine, it was that kind of power coursing through him, more or less unchecked, that brought him to an end."

Master and student argued over who was right and a fight insued. Master Techerakh came out the victor removed her powers and and she sits very upset in our brig. I thought prudent that she sits there until we think of something to do with her.

My recommendation sir, is that she maybe go to starfleet acadmy sir and become helpful to us out here. But she may be a risk as she has joined sides with the Nasgul once putting her in that position might put undue pressure on her.

Nofftz says as he points to it."Don't take what the commander said personally. She gets angry easily. However, you had better respect her or you will regret it." I assure you, I am much better at deception than when I first came to you here. I did not take this interrogation so seriously, I was simply curious. Curious to see what this may have to offer me. I think it does something. But what would I be getting into? What is the lead power, and where can I contact it regularly? Or, if I am to be an insider for you or your buisness, whom would I report to?".

"I had gotten my hopes up".

He paused, and allowed for a moments silence in the brig.

"What do you intend to do now that you are affiliated with nothing? Or I should say, if you were not locked in a cell, on a starship. I said I could get you out of this cell, I can. If I cannot join you, you join me. You say those Heraan will not accept you back, no loyalty is in that organization. But none also in this that I bare on my uniform. Are you in for the same as I? I make no false image, I am in this for myself. If you want to get yourself in a better position, tell me something. Tell me who you approached, or who approached you to get into the Heraan, or Na'Jigat. Tell me anything, and I will open this cell at the end of the information, and you will walk out of here with me. I will convince those in power that you would help us. IC: Half is that what did you call me Ensign. if this was a Klingon Shhip I would kill you where you stood.  As for not Knowing Commander Laurens Rank I shall leave that to her but be warned she has spent time on an Imperial Klingon Ship as well. Yes Ensign Lois You are correct the Tactical Station is one of the most important on the Bridge. For your own Safety I might put you on the Delta Shift with Commander Lauren in command.

Turning at that point I turn to Alexia still Fuming and say as I calm down Crewman Alexia Please take Operations. We are currently Docked and need to remain so. until we are given something more important to do.

After getting over these and knowing that the >Cpatain was back on the bridge I turn to him. Captain if I remember rightly I have a cople if free meals at the Klingon Restuant over on the station I would like to take this opertunity to make a visit.

U.S.S. Riyadh, Federation/Cardassian Border

"Captain, I'm getting another set of readings! Three Dominion fighters inbound! They're charging weapons!"

Captain Sansky turned to his tactical officer, Ensign Lauren. "target phasers on the lead ship and fire at will!"

"Sir, phaser banks are dry!" she yelled over the fire on the bridge. "We've got two torpedoes left, and that's it!"

"Then target them on the lead ship's warp core and fire!"

The ensign nervously keyed in the launch commands, and the torpedoes rocketed from under the saucer, striking the Dominion attack ship square in the engine section. The ship blossomed in fire, and an antimatter shockwave hit not only the two other fighters, but the Riyadh as well. The entire bridge crew was thrown to the floor, several of them injuring themselves in the fall.

"Get to the escape pods!" yelled Sansky. "All hands, abandon ship!"

Kelli pulled herself to her feet and stumbled to the Jeffries tube. Climbing down to Deck Five, she exited the turbolift to find the assistant CMO climbing out of the adjacent tube. She promptly ran to him and gave him a kiss like she hadn't seen him in years.

"Bryan," she said, gasping for breath after her frantic trip. "We've got to get to the shuttlebay!"

"Let's go then," the doctor replied.

"The only problem I have is your lack of responsibility to discipline a ENSIGN, who kept getting in my way of me doing my duty.  You kept protecting him even tho he should be in engineering cleaning the Plasma Manifolds.  He should be there right now if you wish to fire your phasers at all.  Other then that I dont see what your problem is with me.  Your the one who started the pointless name calling and YOU disrespected me in front of a Ensign and now he knows how easy it is to get his superiors tossed into the Brig without justification.  You cant hold me you mind as well let me out and I can carry out the Disciplinary action you should be doing right now on Ensign Ghemor instead of protecting his insolent butt." Spock frankly told Kelli.

Mark entered his quaters and unpacked, he than took a shower while his Earth Coffee gets ready. He recently started to like the drink, though he never drank it on Earth. He got out of the shower and unpacked the rest of his things. He made himself a cup of Earth Coffee and leaned against the counter.

He'll head down to the bridge as soon as he's done this cup, there's still alot he needed to learn even if he graduated from the acadamy with a extra week.

"Master, if I was presumed lost, it was of my own doing. I wish you had left well enough alone. My allegiance is no longer with the Gallifreyan Order."

She sighed. "I had hoped you would not come. I wanted to spare you, but the Gods command it now. Master, this is the end for you."

She thrust her hand forward, releasing a blast of telekinetic energy that knocked the Starfleet officers to the ground, but left her master standing. She pulled her khala from her belt and activate it, revealing a divine blue blade of energy, a major contrast to the dark grey and orange surroundings.

(OFF: Yeah, it's a dream of her time in the Dominion War.)

U.S.S. Riyadh, Federation/Cardassian Border

"Let's get out of here! The ship's about to fall apart!"

"I'm going, I'm going!" Kelli yelled back. "I'm gonna blow through the bay door, hold on!"

She fired a pair of torpedoes at the large bay door while ramming the shuttle through it, sufficiently decimating the door to allow the ship to exit. Not a split second before the shuttle got out of the door, the Riyadh began to erupt in flame. Relying on every bit of her piloting training from the Academy, she reconfigured the warp field and jumped to warp just before the ship's warp core collapsed.

Both Kelli and Bryan gave sighs of relief. They had, luckily, escaped the implosion of the warp core, but many of their friends and coworkers, regrettably, did not. They both sat back and rested while the ship's autopilot took them toward Deep Space Nine.

"Contact the doctor to get down here, I want Raszagal medically examined before we consider the risk of a Vulcan mind melt. And also contact Lauren, so that we've got some security in here for in case anything gets out of hand."
*Then he walks closer to the forcefield of the brig to address Raszagal.*
"You're not exactly in a position to command anyone here on my ship, considering on which side of the forcefield you currently find yourself. It is your own people who handed you over to us already, so we're already beyond that stage. Now it is up to us what to do with you, and I have decided that we will keep you detained until we arrive back at Avalon Station, and have Starfleet Command decide what to do with you next. Rest assured, we have civil laws so you won't be tortured to death or anything. But I'm not yet willing to trust you enough to let you walk around freely on this ship. Now what I wanted to ask... who or what is Adun?"

"Ever heard of seniority, there, chief? I've been an officer on this ship longer than you, I've held this rank longer than you, and I'm the second officer. I don't give a rat's ass if you've got the same pins as me, I outrank you. If you've got beef with that, take it to Morga or to the captain. I'm a stickler for authority, and when someone steps out of line, I'm going to jump up their ass for it. Remember that, and I won't even need to be such a #####."

(OFF: Okay, what the hell is Alexia doing here? We are NOT going through this again...)

"I had thought the same thing, but Master Legudon suggested we come to you. I believe you know him, as well?"

"No, you'll do it now. I have requested an official parlay with your security chief, and if you deny it, you'll be the one breaking your own laws."

=/\= Lieutenant Commander Harf to Captain Brodie. Thank you sir we have docked and would be ready for a securtiy team to come and relieve us of a problem sir. She is a former Knight striped of her powers by her master for deleliction of duty and Aiding and abeting their sworn enemy and now ours the N'gayt. Any assistance would be appericated. She is down in the Brig. =/\=

=/\= Captain I have just asked for a detail of Security from Avalon station to come and take Ms Razsgal from our hands. I thought that might be the better way to go. =/\=

Very well ensign Trian I think we should give the lower crew some time as the chiefs will have some work to do before they can go anyway.

Okay Durandal I would perfer that you not mock the Science officer we all know that science life or other wise is hard to keep up with. Computers and Vulcans keep up with them humans are less able to take the speed of warp well.

Staying where I was most necessary for this trail at the tactical console I move slightly.

I think Warp 4 is in order Durandal

"Oh, I've got a soft side, but it just doesn't come out while in uniform. Try spending two-and-a-half years with the Klingons, and you'll be pretty harsh, too."
