U.S.S. Evolution Mission 6: Exploring Delta Alliance space

[Event Horizon]

*Suddenly, the energy cloud senses something is up...*
"Ships will not escape... Need energy from ships... Attack NOW!"
*And the swarm of pure energy suddenly seems to stretch out so wide that it looks like it fills the horizon of the universe, and in an incredible speed, it hurries toward both ships at once... In an instant, it is all around both the U.S.S. Evolution and U.S.S. Tiberon...*
"Need energy... NOW! No more deceiving... Na'jigat Lords of the Universe!"
*And the two ships begin to tremble, their structural integrity starts to fail...*

[Taurik]

"Aye, Captain."

[Taurik]

Taurik is watching the Chief of Command gaze at all the instruments and consoles, when the computer alerts him.

Computer: "Commander Taurik, you have one message from Admiral Montrell."

"A message from Admiral Montrell?" Taurik thinks to himself. "Computer, route message to Tactical."

Taurik stares intently at his console for a few moments, reading the message.

"Captain, the construction of the Rivendell is complete. Avalon will be expecting me soon."

[Vurak Spock]

Security has closed off the shuttle bay. Commander, I am currently attempting communications with the Away team. I am also attempting to use all available communications to detect Sensors and communications are in serious shape. All blocked. I am attempting to pinpoint the team. I shall do everything in my power to find them. Commander. I will succeed in doing. They shall not leave my SIGHT!

Computer: Please attempt to pinpoint energy fields that is reverbrating from where the planet was. Analyze the energy please. Please graph a map of that field.  Locate any energy trails that may have been in vicinity of where the away team was last located. Please do a bioscan on where the temple was to attempt to detect any life forms.................................................

(In the flurry of button pushing. Vurak goes into a meditative focus for which has not been seen in a long while even for a vulcan. Determined on his quest he be. He almost does not hear others as he focuses his attention on the task at hand.)

"Sir, with all due respect, Who else can command this Ship but yourself?  I sure as #### cant and Im an extra crewman anyway.  Ive spent most of my adult life in the cockpit, Sir, and If I cant change your mind then im coming with you.  Say what you will but your not going to deter me for my mind is made up."

Sir, do you wish me to adjust the magnification so the entire structure can fit on screen?

It may not have any thing to do with this mission but would like to congradulate my older brother Dean Starwind for his receant promotion to Commander and XO of the USS Aztec of the nova division

Chastin pulls his head out from under the Navigational Consol, wire help in his teeth, and looks around curiously.  Spitting the assorted wires and such into his open hand he looks from crewman to crewman.  "Anyone got a phaser on them?  Id use one of the dozen custom jobs ive got in my quarters but that would take too long."

[Taurik]

The Tactical console began to beep. The Ensign at that station looked at it in amazement.

Taurik: "Report."

Ensign: "Commander, we just lost contact with the Captain and the away team."

Taurik: "What is causing the disruption?"

Ensign: "Unknown, sir. We cant scan for him either. Its like the entire temple, just... isn't there."

Taurik: "Thank you, Ensign."

"Mr. Chastin, I will not willingly condemn an officer to death under my command. I will pilot the shuttle, and that is final. Mr. Keilah, you have the bridge."

And with that, Taurik walks off the bridge.

Ah. I would do what I can to seek the solution of this problem and a progress report will be sent to your desk. Captain Sanchez. It should be fixed within the next few hours.

Mr. Starwind I am sorry about your brother. Yes. I could use your assistance as well. It may also get your mind off the situation for a bit as well. if you have any engineering skills. I am sure we can find work on this problem. I am working on the replacement of the circuit board and re-attaching it to the mainframe. You can assemble the pieces to the Control panel for which the explosion has taken its toll. If you have any questions. I will help you.

Begin procedure..."
*And at the far horizon of the Quantum Singularity Network, a wave of pure energy began to form... energy so strong that no firepower and no shielding could possibly withhold it... The Na'jigat had unleashed its power, a power that had even proven fatal to Borg cubes and Species 8472 ships more than once before... And the Na'jigat energy lifeforms began to hum...*

*At that same moment, some sort of strong energy field suddenly surrounded the Temples on the planet of Sordinan... But the strange thing was, the shield was not being generated by any technology on the planet, it appeared naturally out of nowhere, and was stronger than any form of technology could ever generate... And it blocked everything... transporters, communications, even telepathic communications... Nothing could go in, nothing could come out... And soon, the people who are NOT within this shield, will find themselves wishing they were inside this shield of protection too, for it is the only protection against the Na'jigat...*
