*Eastwood looked around and saw Galindez finally drop his salute and stand there dump founded as to why he volunteered for this mission*

[Nathen Keller]

On the Fenix

*...Keller ignores Eastwood's comment and he listens to Powell's briefing. He readies himself with the appropriate gear and is then beamed down. They were beamed down a little off track so they are going to have to search for their base camp...*

"Alright, sound off."

*...Keller pulls out a Tricorder and searches for the camp as he waits for his men to sound off...*

(You guys have until the 20th to start posting again or the mission is over. You were all given enough time to start posting again but still remain inactive. So if there is no activity by the 20th the mission will be canceled.)

*Eastwood followed Keller like a lost little puppy*

"Sir by any chance this safe house, how much intel have we really got on it, i mean do we actually know its been held by good guys and not bad guys"

[Gregory Meyer]

he stands looking at the admirals talk. wondering what choice they would make.

"We don't know much about the defending people. other than they don't have warp. they may have weapons we don't know about. as i said they've not been on the watch list. I would need to send down some people to get inside information. And see how we could strike if need be."

[Mike Powell]

"Kazon invasion of a pre-warp planet. And I am not so sure we can get involved. I have to talk with HC."

[Andrew Yates]

"I am sorry General but it is not our place to decide if a civilization succeeds or not. The only way we can get involved if by some miracle they make a jump. But un til that happens we stay out of it. Now take care."

*Yates leaves and returns to Avalon Station.*

[Gregory Meyer]

ooc: As far as in character conversation goes my speech was in response to being told to do something i had shown i was doing or going to do. And so i relayed that, in a manner which should not have been taken as disrespect. Then i was returned with an attituded reply of which was improper to what i said. Somehow Mr. Balkazar took from my 2 lines into his many and imagined i called him stupid. I stated it was not started by me, and i hold to that.
Meyers returns to the office.
"I have 3 undercover men on the planet. They have yet to send any information. It was difficult to get them in place so i doubt we wil recieve a transmission soon."

*Julian salutes the Sgt and forgives him for the sudden burst of rudness.*

Mr Eastwood. Good to see you here. I need the best men we can offer. If you trust him with your life then i don't see anyone else fit for the mission. Welcome Mr Galindez.

Well thats three of you. Now we wait for Powell and the rest of his team to arrive and we can leave.

[Mike Powell]

On the Fenix

"I will be staying here with you Admiral. Meyers informed me that his agents have gathered up civilian clothing so dont get comfy wearing what you are now. Also they have set up a small HQ based off the planets current tech level so don't expect anything high tech. Also weapons will be provided. Don't worry you may still keep your phasers but don't use them as much. The planets weapons are still physical based, bullets. So light body armor strong enough to protect you from fatal wounds. I wish you all the best of luck and I hope you all make it back."

*...Powell salutes his men as they are beamed down to the surface...*

OOC: I'll try to get it moving again.

ON:
After 45 minutes the group made it outside the safe house.  With 200m still to go Sgt Ressik's sense told him to stop.  his eyes darted around as he saw a couple of odities.

"Sir!" Jacob hissed to Major Kellar "We need to move back and around, i suspect an ambush."

[Nathen Keller]

"Negative private. We cannot interfere with the dealings of this planet. We are only here to see if this planet is capable of warp yet and if so then we can help. But until we are sure we must keep our presence here completely unknown."

*...The team walks along the outskirts of the town until he gets a beep of his tricorder. It signals a beacon to the safe house. The team then heads into the town to make their way into the safe house...*

*He watches Yates leave and has he teleported he walks up to Julian and whispers.*

"Admiral, please allow me to send a team just to see if they can makea jump. I cannot just sit around knowing aplanet is about to be lost to the Kazon. Please let me do this."
