I aggree also, As Admiral Fisher explained, it was us as a division that began the biggest ship  building. I don't see why other divisions need a 'biggest ship' at all. For our division, it is to represent the engineering skill our division posseses. Which was supposably uniqe. And it is what makes us different from other divisions. Who have their own functions. We will make a presentation at the conference of the importance that things are kept in balance. We will have it soon, i advise everyone coming arrive soon.

As will I, Admiral. I hoped to beat you with the New Titan and Galaxy Mk. III Classes. It seems that the Fss will not be holding the tital for largest and most powerful ship when this class is commissioned.  ;)  :D

That is but one aspect of the Interceptor. It is in essence ment to be the best in every form. I myself see other divisions who try to compete for ship building foolish when their is a division who's sole purpose is to build and work in Engineering. Our time is unlimited when it comes to doing these kind of projects. No other division needs to stray from its main fuction to try to take what we began. Which is why i am working to protect our work. The Excalibur was the beginning of the attempts to have the best ship in the fleet. I did not expect others to turn it into a game. Now larger ships are as common as the Excelsior class or Miranda Class was. As Starfleet Engineering CO i have much weight in the building of ships fleetwide.

I am going to have to second Mr. Fisher on that. I have looked around to find so many other divsions planning to "Out Do" The Interceptor. I give those Admirals who are out to do this a very large discouragement to carry on with such projects. Engineering and Construction is the base of Nova Division. It is a disapointment to not be able to hold a title when it is the divisions specialty.

*...Yates walks in following General Reed. After over hearing the convorsation Yates adds to the topic...*

"I do also agree. There is no need to "Out do", as Admiral Hobson has put it, the size of the ship one division has to beat another division. It is not proving a thing. Also crew as of latly has been getting thin and I would Highly discourage the construction of any new stations or ships."

*...He walks up to Tom and James and extends his hand to give them a greeting shake...*

"Tom, James, it has been a long time since we last spoke. How have things been? Has the Unity regrouped with the Excalibur?"

Biggest will definantly go to nova, more advanced technology will be the Provectus once GW gets it done (Maybe...)

There is no specific time or date, just when everyone gets here. To many people can't come one day or can another, when everyone whos coming comes we will begin. I'm sure if anyone is waiting they will find something to do while they're here. Different Marks won't outdo the Interceptor. This and much more will be explained at the Conference. As i expressed before, i dislike other divisions trying to do what we began. The Excalibur was not ment to be outdone. And so this is only a measure to keep our name.

We created the new class. The USS Interceptor was our first ship, and division name, we started as a ship Division, and with a rich history, got to where we are. Your invited (as well as anyone you wish to bring) to the Interceptor Conference here held in a week, less or over depending on how many we can get in short time. We could do it tommorrow if we had enough. The images are of another class but to our best images in mind it is what we wanted. We have no way to create our own picutres or we would for sure. Its design follows Intrepid, but its scale for size is as long as a starbase is tall and as wide. Its design is to make it nearly a manuevering station with capabilitys of a starship. Its ment to go out years at a time and explore. Explaining the 2 dishes. Our title for having the biggest ship began with the Excalibur, it was the first biggest ship to be build. Since then other division tried to compete and did bigger. Our division function is to build, and so we wanted to model that by having the best in engineering works. And so we go to the edge with the Interceptor. We do not expect anything larger, and to still be able to be safe. Our own Admiral fisher is trying to put a "patent" so to speak on size so we don't have to face competition. It was our original ideal to have the biggest. this is just a fraction of what you will find out at the conference. We expect many Admirals and less to come.

The Interceptor is being given mostly new technology. I hope to make a new standard for building starships. Everything about the old concept is being done with save a few things like the looks of the inside of the ship, resembles a mix of Intrepid and Sovereign. It will have very advanced technology for its specific needs when on its long maiden voyages. We will work with borg technology and try to duplicate their repair technology.

That is true, and at the moment until the Interceptor is built the USS Delphia A in my fleet is the biggest with the most technological so far.

Well, I think my engineering teams back at Discovery is working on a mark 2 of that class.

I think I will be coming to the conference. Just give me a time and date.
