*Admiral Vorak gets up before anyone else can say anything. He walks up to Ardwyad and raises his hand in the Vulcan greeting.*
"Live long and prosper, Mr. Ardwyad. In name of Starfleet, I welcome you on board Deep Space 12."

*Sanchez holds up his hand to indicate that no harm was done.*
"Chief Ardwyad, don't reproach him on my behalf, he only acts with the best interests of your species. And I understand that traditions and systems are different for every species, so I'm willing to listen to what you want to explain me about your gods."

*Looks up confused.*
"Uhm... yes, senator, right away."
*Then he turns to admiral Vorak.*
"Admiral, it appears that some more visitors have come our way to join these negotiations. An important senator, and a Talonion representative. But I must say one thing, Talonions are not quite... humanoids like we are. The senator has requested you to grant the A.S.C. Zentara permission to dock on the station."

*The massive metallic body of Comm One, Ardwyad's second in command Droid, turns to his Chief of Command.*
"Would that be wise? That will bring the ship deeper into the Delta Quadrant. We must request permission of the High Queen first."

*Stands up and coughs*

"May I make a suggestion, it would be very usefull to exchange medical information between our species. I would be delighted to know more about the species from the Alpah Quadrant and I think you would be interested in the physiology of the Naederians or Traquel, they are most remarkable "

*Looks at Sanchez as he gets up.*
"Indeed... I did not know. I could never have hoped that such great honour would befall me one day, and then almost without knowing it..."
*Glances at the High Queen.*
"You brought a bottle too, Majesty? Well, that makes two..."
*Looks around at the surprised faces of all the people present in the embassy.*
"There is yet one more thing to do, before we can seal the successful negotiations!"
*Suddenly, he puts a bottle of a strange shape, in the middle of the table.*
"This bottle, dear Starfleet members, is for you! No pact can be sealed without a bottle of Razanis, a strong alcoholic drink native to the Delta Alliance. To seal this pact according to our native traditions, we need sea salt..."
*He puts a little box with sea salt native to the Naederian homeworld, in the middle of the table.*
"And a glass for each person present, of course."

*Vorak eyes Karelia, and then looks, slightly nervous, at Ardwyad and the High Queen.*
"If you will excuse Mr. Karelia for not completing his part. Humans physiology is not as... strong, compared to my Vulcan physiology. Allow me to complete it for him."
*He eats the salt, and then pours the Razanis in his glass and calmly drinks it. Then, obviously unaffected by the drink, he turns to the High Queen on his left, who's turn was next, and puts salt in her hand.*
"The salt, for the bitterness of life."
*While the High Queen eats the salt, he fills her glass with the Razanis.*
"The Razanis, to rejoice the soul."
*The he hands the glass to the High Queen.*
"I am the past and the future. And the future commands. Be my friend for the present."
*Then he looks around at everyone, who was apparently looking at him and wondering how come he had no effect from the Razanis.*
"As I said, Vulcan physiology is quite strong enough to... to... Chaaaaaa'guuuuu vakeeeeeee RANOGGGGG!"
*Suddenly, Vorak begins to sing the Klingon Opera music along very loud.*
"Nurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrragakkkk!!!!!! Konogokaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa-"
*Then he faints and falls down on the floor.*

"Yes, Admiral, I assume that would be best. However, I intend to send the ships one at a time, or else DS12 will be left with no defence should the Coalition return."

*Flag Admiral Vorak enters the embassy office with Sanchez and Dalon.*
"Computer, lights."
*Instantly, the computer obeys and the room is illuminated. The chairs were not set neatly in order, and some things had fallen on the floor, but beside that, the room was in good order to have important negotiations be held.*
"Very well, it will take only a moment to put the office in good order. Clearly, the Romulans have not even attempted to enter this room. After all, they are not a very diplomatic people. The only reason the office is slightly out of order, is because the station must have sustained some shocks during the battle."
*Vorak rearranges some things, and motiones to Sanchez and Dalon.*
"Please do sit down."

*The blue-skinned Nigillian Chief of Command of the ASC Revox walks into the Embassy office, holding some strangely shaped bottle in his hand, and curiously looking around. He is accompanied by three of his officers, another blue-skinned Nigillian, a Naederian who is apparently a medic, and some impressive droid. Ardwyad redirects his attention to the people in front of him: captain Sanchez, commander Brooks, admirals Vorak and Karelia, and the ambassador.*
"Good greetings to you all. I am honoured to be welcomed by so many. As you already know, I am Ardwyad, Chief of Command of the A.S.C. Revox. This is Comm One, my sub-chief."
*He points at the droid who then steps forward.*
"And this is Dhante Tehoral, and our professional Naederian medic Ragolis."

"Ah... very well."
*Glances at Ragolis once more as to make sure he's sitting down and intends to remain so, and then looks back at Sanchez.*
"First, captain Sanchez, you must be aware how sacred the Quantum Singularity Network is. It is the home of our gods, and nobody may tresspass their territory without risking their wrath. And that is what you did, captain. You took your ship inside the QSN and because of that, a second, hostile Romulan starship almost entered too. I understand you were not aware that the QSN is forbidden terrain for mere mortals, which is why I'm telling you now and not killing you instead. But the damage is done, and our people fear the wrath of the gods now. That is why I must ask you an important request, for the good of all... As soon as the negotiations are over, you must come with us to Sordinan, a planet close to the Quantum Singularity Network, where we have built our religious temples in honor of the gods. There you must enter our temples and pray to the gods for them to forgive you. I am aware it may not be according to your traditions, but can I count on you to do this?"

The A.S.C Zentara glides on impulse power towards ds12 the location of the current Da UFP Alliance, onboard is the Talonian Representative Tankalan and Senetor Kiatya Executive Aide to the HIgh Queen.

Zentara paging chief of command Ardwyad, *the communicator beeps on Ardwyad's arm*  Sorry we are late, unavoidable delays. Make ready our arrival, and inform *checks database* Admiral Vorak, that I request permission to board and dock.

"Hmmm, I believe something could be arranged at a later time in regards to 'trying out the catapult', In the mean time I do think we need to work out some sort of an Alliance Treaty"

Perhaps gentleman we, begin our writeup of terms of treaty, such as trade knowledge and defence.

First off, might I suggest an exchange of Technology, such as we will show our gratiude to u by giving you the plans of the null space catapult and show our engineers how to build it in return for something you may think we might need. *looks at the food replicator*

*Vorak glances at Sanchez.*
"I believe Mr. Ardwyad requested glasses."

*Sanchez looks at his first officer.*
"No, you're not getting another glass until you change your bathing suit into a descent Starfleet uniform again!"

"Hmmm.. your species seem to be quite fond of this particular Klingon Opera music, or am I wrong?"

"Uh... yes, captain!"
*Tries to keep his laughter inside, and then turns to Daniel Reeves on his left.*
"Your turn, sir! Muwahahahaha!"
*He takes some salt from the box and puts it in the hand of Reeves.*
"The salt, for the bitterness of life!"
*He waits until Reeves eats the salt, and then turns to Sanchez and extends his hand to the bottle of Razanis, that Sanchez was still holding.*
"The bottle, sir? I can't complete the ceremony without it."
*Reluctantly, Sanchez hands the bottle back to his first officer, who then pours the drink into the glass of Reeves.*
"The Razanis, to rejoice the soul!"
*Then finally, he gives the glass to Reeves, though he eyes it first himself, reluctantly that he can't drink it.*

"It's a very comfortable office to have meetings, I must say. Well, I'm sure that our guests will be arriving any moment now."

OFF: where's Daniel Reeves?

*Ragolis suddenly gets up and holds his scanning device near Sanchez's head.*
"Give me one moment, Chief, perhaps their species do not have the brain capacity to understand our reasoning. I'm reading now if his brainwaves are different from ours, so that we will perhaps have to search for another approach to talk with them on a more primitive level."

"Now that would most definitely sound interesting. Before that warp speed rule was instated by Starfleet Command, our missions didn't even take half that long as they do now!"

"Usually, Starfleet is not very fond of sharing technology, because we can never be sure to what purposes it may be used. However, I do believe this is a unique situation, and requires a unique approach. I am very grateful that you also wish to share your technology with us. And I expect a full report from the U.S.S. Evolution, once the ship has personally visited this Null Space Catapult."
*He glances over at Sanchez for a moment, and then back.*
"As for our treaty... This first contact is yet very young, and thus it is hard to determine what the treaty should include. For the moment, I propose a peace treaty, in where we attempt to keep regular contact, give each other access to our space domain, and exchange information, such as medical information..."
*Glances at Ragolis and then back.*
"And schematics for technology, such as our food replicator, and also scientific information and stellar cartography. Our treaty may need the inclusion of more pacts. However, it is time that will determine that. In the meantime, I would like to suggest the following: the U.S.S. Evolution accompanies you to the Temples of Sordinan, as agreed, which will be the start of the ship's new mission... The U.S.S. Evolution is to be stationed with Delta Alliance space permanently, with as main mission to explore this new space and new species of the Delta Alliance, and create stronger bonds between your Alliance, and our Federation. The U.S.S. Evolution will have the task of exploration, and arbition. Is this proposal satisfactory for you?"
*Vorak calmly looks at the members of the Delta Alliance in front of him.*

OFF: would be great if Nick Brooks could post now to continue the ceremony. Its basically the same thing, but remember that you too will be affected by the strong alcohol of the drink lol. Then, Brooks, you pass it on to either Dalon or Daniel Reeves, and then the next to the next and so on... and yes, Dalon, even for a Vulcan this is strong stuff lol. I hope you can post soon

*Stops himself from swaying on the spot and prays to god no one saw him*

Thank you Admiral. It is an honor to finally meet you in person. You are very well spoken of in Vulcan lately because of your efforts on this quadrant.

*straightens his uniform and turns to Captain Sanchez*

I expect to be of some help in these negotiations. Perhaps in discussing technical and scientific matters.

I must say that I find their concept of a sungularity network as the home of their gods fascinating. It somewhat resembles the Bajoran mythology.

Perhaps a Bajoran representative would be helpful in future negotiations, sir.

"Your welcome, it's good to finally break in this office."

*Ardwyad, slightly annoyed, grabs Ragolis by the arm, and pulls him back into his chair so heavily that the Naederian medic almost falls over.*
"I told you to sit! I'm no medic, but I know well enough that they are perfectly capable of understanding what we say... but give me the time to explain them first, will you?"

"Mr. Vorak, Mr. Sanchez, Mr. Reeves... we indeed do have alternative technology. It was developped by one of our member species, of who we don't have anyone with us right now though, called the Traquel. They developped something called the 'Null-Space Catapult'. It throws your ship at an incredible fast speed toward the destined coordinates. In fact, it is even faster than warp 9, and yet does not damage subspace. It is a fine piece of technology, though with its limits of course. The maximum distance it can throw you, is limited - even though it's considerably far - which is why we have several of these catapults installed in Delta Alliance space. When we travel to the Temples of Sordinan, Mr. Sanchez, you will see our nearest Catapult at the very borders of the Quantum Singularity Network. I even invite you to try it out."

*Walks over to the computer*

*Suddenly gets up again with pale eyes.*
"Commander Brooks, Mr. Ragolis, admirals... why are we all on this tropical beach???"

*A robotic voice comes from Ardwyads hip*

"What is he doing? What is that awful sound he is making???"

"I understand. Shall we join the Tiberon on this mission?"

*laughs*, and they thought romulan ale was strong .

Kiatya takes a pinch of salt and places it in Ardwyad's hand.  "The salt for hte bitterness of life." *watches Ardwyad eat the salt while filling the cup with Razanis.

"The Razanis to rejoice the soul."

*Smiles.*
"Hah, where are we going to find a Bajoran to be here at the negotia-- Hmm... Science officer Reeves is a Bajoran, I nearly forgot. This should be interesting."

*near the door picking at his uniform was the Evolution's Chief Science Officer*

"Ah yes, captain Sanchez. I understand we discovered you at a crucial moment. We were aware of activity nearby the Quantum Singularity Network, and decided to have a closer look. That was when we found you."
*He glances around and then looks at Sanchez again.*
"Well, hmm... Mr. Sanchez, there is one request I must ask of you. It may seem insignificant for you, but for us it is of great importance. You must know that the Quantum Singularity Network is sacred territory of our two supreme gods: Qughan, the God of Light, and Savarin the Goddess of Life. In other words, the Great Light and the Great Creator. There are many historical legends surrounding them, which I will tell you about at a later time perhaps, but the important thing is that they bring harmony in the universe, especially to our people and our allies in the Delta Alliance. Angering the gods of the Q.S.N. may result in disaster for us all."

*Vorak raises an eyebrow.*
"The Torrans? Quite unusual. Our last encounter with the Torrans, though it has been quite some time ago, was not very... friendly. They seem a rather hostile species, though they did not attack us."

"I must admit, this technology is very impressive indeed. Is there any modifications that need to be made for our ships to utilize these warp gates?"

*Sanchez smiles.*
"Well... it's a small galaxy after all."

*after taking his drink he immediately felt intoxicated and tried to complete his part quickly before the effects of the Razanis took it's toll*

*He takes a bit of salt from the box, and puts it in the hand of Dalon, who sat next to him.

"The salt, for the bitterness of life."

*Then he waits, while Dalon eats the salt. Next, he fills
the glass of Dalon with the Razanis*

"The Razanis, to rejoice the soul."

*Then he gives the glass to Dalon, so he can drink it.*

"I am the past and the future. And the future commands. Be my friend for the present."

*Dalon accepts the glass and takes his drink*

*and once he finished the lines he almost past out drunk on the desk but managed to keep a mild composure while still getting very dizzy and did not want to say anything*

*Koloblicin takes the salt and eats it. The glass of Razanis is awaiting him on the table. He picks it up and hesitantly drinks it.*

"Wow, this is some strong stuff... whoa..."

*Kolo feels very woozy, but manages to continue. He places the salt in Karelia's hand*

"The salt, for the bitterness of life."

*He then pours Karelia a glass, almost dropping the goblet. After the salt and goblet are in Karelia's hands Kolo starts singing the rest of the Klingon opera.*

This certainly is an interesting meeting, these people look so different from us, it is unusual to see new species.

*Behind him a Starfleet walked in pulling his shirt top down to make it fit nicer*

*Shifts uneasily on his seat, when Ardwyad looks at him seriously, as if he had done something terribly wrong, but he had no clue what it could be.*
"I understand your... religious convinctions, Chief Ardwyad. But I don't see how this has anything to do with these negotiations." *Shrugs.* "Surely no disaster has befallen us, so I'm sure they're not angry about anything."

"That is true, and it is why they joined our Delta Alliance at such a late time only. For many centuries, there has been civil war among the Torrans, one leader overthrown for another to take over to continue their wars. Not so long ago, a new leader has united them in a peaceful way, and the Torran people are not unhappy for that, they were all weary of war. But there were those who were against the decision of peace and joining the Delta Alliance, and they retreated to what we now call Torran Exile space, which we do not consider part of the Delta Alliance."

"Allow me to explain how it works, admiral. That way you will understand better how our technology of transportation works. When in use, a graviton surge is directed through the projectors onto the hull of the ship. This serves to propel it into a layer of subspace known as null space, where it stays for a period of time, often a matter of hours, during which time it traverses vast distances of 'real' space. The catapult is powered by a tetryon reactor and has immense arms which support graviton projectors.  Six projectors are supported on each arm, which when activated produce a blue field that encompasses a ship before it is transported into null space.  The vessel, which is positioned between the arms, is held by the beams and then 'catapulted' into subspace.  The graviton field can be set at different levels to determine the distance a ship is transported. In other words, admiral, any ship with a normal structural integrity is capable of using this catapult without any need of additional modifications to the ship itself."

"I can tell you, Mr. Ardwyad, that the U.S.S. Voyager has succeeded in their mission to find their way back home. The ship and her crew is now back in the Alpha Quadrant after a journey of seven years, and everyone is well. And most likely, we must thank this Mr. Tash and his Null Space Catapult project for that."

*Then he empties his glass, puts it back, and looks at the High Queen.*
"I believe that this has settled the negotiations then. So what is our next step? Get to our ships and head for the Temples of Sordinan?"

Karelia taps his communicator.

"We have not even started. Our guests have not arrived yet"
*Kolo begins to straiten his office*

*Ragolis suddenly walks up to admiral Vorak and holds some sort device in front of the admiral's body.*
"Please stand still, admiral. No, no, don't move! Wow, this is interesting!"
*Then he grabs Vorak by the shoulders and turns the confused admiral around, then starts scanning with his device again.*
"Your physiology is very interesting. We could learn alot from you, would you mind dropping by at my medbay when we're done here?"
*Then he walks on to admiral Karelia and holds the device against his body just as well.*
"Oh, this one is different!"

*Ardwyad grabs Ragolis by the shoulder to stop him from going to Reeves.*
"Later, good doctor. This is a negotiations room, not a medbay. I'm sure that the admiral will give you access to the database of their species later on. Now, sit down with the rest of us."

"I am aware that high warp travel can, in long term, damage subspace and thus render certain areas in space damaged to the extent that warp travel is rendered impossible there. That is why we have a regulation, one of the latest additions to our book of rules, that warp speed above warp 5 is not allowed unless in extreme or urgent circumstances. But I take it you have developped alternative technology to be able to travel at high warp without damaging subspace?"

*holds up a small device*

a holographic picture of a null space catapult grows steadily large on the table,

that is our null space catapult.

*Ardwyad inclines his head.*
"And I thank you for welcoming us with such great honor. The High Queen will be very pleased, when she reads my report on our encounter."

OFF: is anyone else going to post? Nobody except me and Karelia have posted for 4 days now.

*before Dhante got his drink he could see all the affects the drink had on the starfleet crew and also the affects on his comrades and he slightly started to look forward to drinking the drink to show off to the humans that he was tougher than he looked*

*once he had taken his drink he noticed that all the people were looking at him in ancticipation of intoxication as was the case with the humans and their weaker systems*

*after taking a drink he licked his lips*
"mmm, very tasty, I like it alot"

*then he gets back to the matter at hand, the ceremony*

I believe Mr Sanchez has some words he wishes to say to our Gods., so perhaps it's best we do head off to the temple.

*stands up after the Captain. before leaving the room he turns back, looking slightly embarassed*

Karelia enters the Embassy office and sees the others straightening the place up a bit.

"Hello, Admiral. Good to finally see this place used."

*Ardwyad attempts to do the same gesture with his hand as Vorak does for him, but he can't seem to get his fingers right.*
"Live long and... ah, what you just said. Forgive us if we are not yet aware of your traditions."

"Ah, Mr. Reeves. We were waiting for you. Please join us at the table. Mr. Ardwyad, meet my science officer, Daniel Reeves. He is of the Bajoran species, a very religious people they are, and so are you, I heard? From what I've been told, your species hold the Quantum Singularity Network as your home. It was there, after all, where you found us just in time."

Well you know he has a lot to be excited about that is for sure!

Ragolis notices the amazing looks on the Starfleet officer's faces

"Amazing isn't it, my fellow, fragile, Starfleet friends. We are so proud to have that peace of technology, but don't forget our medical skills and inventions these are far more superior then this one"

"Indeed, Captain. Chief Ardwyad, I would again like to thank you for your timely intervention on our behalf."

Ragolis had almost spoiled his drink with the unexpected singing of Dalon but luckily he could keep most of the Razanis in his glass.

"Mr Dalon, I advise you to visit me sometime tomorrow it seems that your vocal cords are a bit affected. Singing this high, isn't advisable at this time. Maybe a bit more Razanis would help, on my homeplanet Razanis is also used as Medicin. I will tell you all about it, ow wait I will give you a full report on it. Would you like that, Mr Dalon?"

Ragolis suddenly sees the impression on the Queen's and Ardwyad's face, the impression said enough and Ragolis knew he had to stop.

Ragolis drinks the Razanis and shakes his head
"So refreshing!"

Risking a break on the protocol, since I am the lower ranking officer in this table, I would like to ask you, Admiral Vorak, and you, Chief of Command Ardwyad of the ASC Revox, for permission to attend this religious cerimony along with Captain Randall Sanchez of the USS Evolution.

Thugh it was his decision to enter the abode of your gods, Chief Ardwyad, it was I who piloted the ship in. Thus, from what I managed to gather from your religious system, I would be held responsible too, since I should have refused to obey the order if I had known of the prohibition beforehand.

The Vulcan belief *looks at Admiral Vorak* of IDIC, which means Infinite Diversity in Infinite Combinations and is one of the core ideals of our Federation's Constitution, says that all beliefs should be respected equally and treasured, for diversity expresses the Universe's beauty and it is not logical to go aginst it.

*at this point Reeves sat there pondering what his reaction might be to this powerful drink. He wasn't really looking forward to being "drunk" but he knew that he would have to perform this part of the ritual in order to fullfill his duties to starfleet, as they were in the heart of a very important alliance negotiation*

*Kolo tries to stop singing but fails and instead joins Vorak in a duet.*

"Welcome, Mr. Karelia, I assume you wish to join the negotiations as well? And Mr. Koloblicin, thank you for making this location more suitable for our intentions."

*Then he glances at Daniel Reeves.*
"And our Bajoran religion specialist Reeves will be glad to join me and guide me in these matters of traditions, won't you Mr. Reeves?"

"Quite... interesting, Mr. Tankalan. Welcome, and you too Senator Kiatya. You are welcome to join our negotiations. We were just discussing the fact that we are open to form a closer bond between our Federation, and your Delta Alliance. Though your species, and ours, may have several fundamental differences, it appears to me that you, like ourselves, strive for peace in the galaxy. We of Starfleet strongly respect the traditions and rules of other species, and hope that we may expect the same of you."

Ragolis makes a gesture as he would like to say something.

"And Admiral, don't forget that our Alliance has the best and may I remark that word. We have the best doctors in this whole Quadrant. There was this one time, that I had to cure a whole population. They had been infected with a deadly virus, and ofcourse I was in danger too. It had affected their DNA and ...."

Ragolis stands up and swiftly moves over to Admiral Vorak. Ragolis reaches for his tricorder and grabs the head of the Admiral. He moves the head of the admiral in several positions and is surprised by his conclusions every time

"You know admiral, if I had know that your species are this fragile, I would have brought a new creme I have come up with. It strengthens the bodies skin and ....."

Suddenly Ragolis realizes he has all the attention of the people that are gathered around the table. He notices Admiral Vorak's head standing in a vertical position, he swiftly moves it in the right direction again and steps backwards.

*Admiral Vorak looks at the PADD, and  the name on it.*
"There must be an error. You have signed this in name of the High Queen, but you stated before you are a representative of the High Queen. Or is it customary to sign in the name of your superior, for the Delta Alliance?"

*Sanchez glances around, to make sure everyone has a glass now, and then places a glass for himself at last, and sits down again.*
"Well, let the ceremony begin."

*smiles*, do u like what your seeing Mr Sanchez

*Sanchez shakes his head, as his normal temper begins to return.*
"Luckily the alcohol of this Razanis doesn't stay in your blood very long, the effect runs out nearly as fast as it came."
*Then he turns to his crew.*
"Mr. Brooks, Mr. Reeves, Mr. Dalon, it's time to return to the ship. Follow me."
*He nods at admirals Vorak and Karelia, and the remaining people, and then leaves the embassy with his ship's crew.*

Mr Vorak, I am indeed the High queen. But I generally keep a low profile, to avoid "royal" duties

I usually use Senetor, but in this case, the Queens seal has to be given in terms of treaties/negoiations.

My people are very careful to let it known, as attemps have been made before on high command lives when stated openly.  we however feel we can trust you.

*Looks at Sanchez without any emotion on his face.*

In my culture we hold religion most sacred as well and we fully understand the needs of the gods and respect everything related to them. If our Captain Sanchez and I need to pray for forgiveness then I make it my bound responsibility to pray, not just for your gods, but I must also pray for my gods as well, so that my life will also be free from suffering.

"Well, perhaps this is the right time to admit some secret... We did not help your Starfleet in this battle just for fun, captain Sanchez. But because we knew that your cause was right. I can read in your eyes, that you wonder how we could know your cause is right and the cause of the Romulan Coalition isn't. Allow me to explain... Since it was agreed that warp speeds of warp 4 and higher were no longer permitted within Delta Alliance space, considerable problems appeared for traders and such. Therefore, the Traquel decided to work on an alternative to the warp 9 drive. For several years, they worked on prototypes of a "Null Space Catapult". Perhaps in exchange for such knowledge, we coudl return our gratitide in treaty by showing you how to preserve the time/space rifts.

Are you aware MR Vorak, that none of our ships in DA space or close to it, ever exceed a low warp, in fact we discourage warp at all times if possible.

*Will glances at Vorak, then picks up a padd*

*Ardwyad's eyes are widening, as he hears the High Queen state her true person, and glances almost in disbelief.*

*Immediately lets himself fall from his chair, onto his knees, and bows deeply in front of the High Queen.*
"Forgive me, your majesty, if I did not treat you according to your rank... I... I did not know."

Ragolis was reading the medical-info he had received from one of the humanoids. He had not been aware of the beginning of the ceremony. But suddenly he hears a great bang, he lays the padd down and stands up. He could see many surprised faces but what had caused this surprise. Ragolis walked around the table and then saw Captain Sanchez, a humanoid, laying on the floor.

"What has happend" he asked at Tankalan

But before Tankalan could answer, Ragolis grabbed what looked like a scanning device from his belt and scanned the captain.

"I knew it! I knew it! Just like I said!Just like I said. That mister over there seemed fragile too" Ragolis pointed towards Admiral Vorak

"But he will be allright in some minutes, no harm done."

Ragolis looks at Commander Brooks, who was watching the doctor.

"You can continue the ceremony Commander, your captain is fine. He is just .... ehrm.....just"

Ragolis tries to find an answer so the ceremony can continue

"He is exploring his innerself...his soul. Yes his soul, when he wakes up again, he will have beautifull memories about his trip. A trip you don't want to miss Commander "

He nods towards Ardwyad that everything was under control.

*Sanchez sees how his first officer is aiming for the bottle, with the intention of drinking it all empty. He throws himself on the table to move the bottle away from the reach of Brooks.*
"No, commmanderrrrr, we muzzzzzzt leave something for the otherrssss!"
*Then he sits down again and gives Nick Brooks a strange look.*
"Commander Brooks, it is unheard of to appear at these negotiations in your underwear!"

Admiral Vorak's combadge chirps, and he hears Karelia's voice on the other end.

"Those goals are very noble indeed, and strikingly similar to the goals of our Federation. Even though your regulations may be different, in the end we reach for the same aim. I hope that your High Queen is willing to consider a treaty of peace between your faction, and ours. This treaty could be effective in various ways, the exchange of scientific information, technology enhancements, aid in case of perilous situations, trade, and of course... communication between your people, and ours."

"That sounds like a very good proposal, admiral. However, such a case requires the approval of the High Queen first."

*Bows in a robotic way, for as much as his robust metal body allows him to bow.*
"Your majesty, I am at your service."

*Sanchez drinks the glass empty at once. For a moment, no hint of reaction can be seen on his face, and he looks around with a smile.*
"Not bad, this Razanis stuff, it is kinda-"
*Suddenly his face turns flaming red.*
"STRONG!!!!" *Hips*"MMMMmwellllll, itzzz gooood."
*He turns to Nick Brooks, who sits on his left, and it's clear in Sanchez' eyes, that the captain is instantly drunk.*
"Yourrrrrr turrrnnnnn, commmandderrrrrr."
*He wildly grabs the box of salt, spilling half of it, and puts a big handful of it in the handpalm of Brooks, and gives him a funny smile.*
"Theeeee zzzzalt, forrrrrrr the bitterrrrrnesssssss of lifffffe."
*Brooks stares at the salt, not sure if he is willing to swallow such a large amount of salt, since Sanchez put much more in his hand than the others had done before. He takes a deep breath, and swallows it with a bitter face.*
"The Razzzzzanisssssss, tooooooo re... re... re..." *Hips.* "joooooice the soulllllll!"
*He fills the glass of Brooks, spilling alot of it on the table, so that Brooks has to hold the glass closer to the bottle before it is all spilled.*
"I... I... am the passsssst and the fffffffuturrrrre.  Andddddd the future commmmmands. Be... be... bebe... my fffffffffriend for the presentttttttttt. Nowww... DRINK!"
*Then Sanchez drops down on the floor.*

*The commander looks at his captain, and reluctantly puts his own glass to his mouth, and drinks it empty. Calmly, he puts it back and looks around at all the faces of everyone staring at him.*
"What? I don't feel any effect at all-"
*Suddenly the whole room around him seems as if it is tolling around in circles, and he has to hold on to the table not to fall from his chair. Then he sees the bottle of Razanis in front of him.*

*Then, Vorak and Karelia head out the door.*

*Sanchez shifts uneasily in his seat again, and glances around the room, noticing that everyone is looking at him in silence, awaiting his reply.*
"Mr. Ardwyad, I understand your reasoning, but my religion is not yours. I don't see how that could change anything."

The Zentara docks on the docking ring and the parties involve depart from the ship.  The Helm droid remains stationary and awaits further instructions.

Tankalan, now I must stress the point, here I am the senetor, not the queen. I dont want to scare these fragile humanoids as I imagine our Droids did.

Kiatya makes her way to the embassy and steps in quickly*

*looks around the room and gives Ardwyad a small smile*

*then turns to the heavily medaled humanoid and looks at him.  Vulcan I presume sir, "raises hand in vulcan salute" Live long and prosper.

Extends a hand to each remaining crew member before sitting down next to Ardwyad.  Allow me to introduce my companion Mnisister Tankalan, Represenatve of the Talonian empire.

"As you are probably quite familar with this Quadrant is home to very many hostile species, with our alliance we are able to protect ourselves against these hostile species.  But not only that but our Alliance is really the beginning of a greater good for the Delta Quadrant our hope is that perhaps peace will spread throughout the Quadrant, I am quite certain that is very close to what the goals of your Federation is in the Alpha and Beta Quadrants"

*Dalon calmly drinks the glass of Razanis that Reeves gave him. His Vulcan control never seems to waver. Everyone looks at him with expectations, because everyone wonders if it will have the same effect on a Vulcan as on a Human, but Dalon does not seem to give the slightest hint. Then he looks at the person on his left, Ragolis, and calmly begins to continue the ceremony by taking some salt from the box and putting it in the hand of Ragolis.*

"Nonsense! It's a RED bathing suit, because red is the color a captain wears, so I'm perfectly in uniform!"

"But I don't recall green underwear with pink stripes to be the right uniform color for an executive officer! Let's get on with this ceremony, shall we? Come on, take the glass of Mr. Reeves on your left, he's waiting!"

*Vorak suddenly gets up and interrupts Sanchez.*
"Mr. Sanchez will gladly comply to your request, Mr. Ardwyad, if it can benefit our mutual alliance between your Delta Alliance and Starfleet."
*Vorak then glances at Sanchez for a moment, clearly showing that this was not a request but an order.*

*Kolo listens to the conversation and is beging to get a bad feeling.Though his empathic senses are not telling him anything bad,he stiil does not have a good feeling.*

Greetings to you all from the Talonion homeworld please allow me to greet you in the customary Talonion way.

Talonion then begins to walk around the room wrapping everyone in the room in his wings but taking extra care to wrap the Vulcan known as Vorak and the Human known as Sanchez in his wings for an extra time, after a certain amount of time Tankalan procedes to take his seat beside the Senator

The delta alliance seems to hve the same principals as your UFP.

Governed by a High queen, she co ordinates the running of the borders and their fleets, but is in no means solely in charge. m The representatives of the member species are also responsible for their own species, such as customs/culture/orders ship running maintances etc.

So in reality its a group comittee runninght the alliance not just  leader, while we do have a leader who oversees and steps in should a "need" ever arise, which thankfully that has not happened yet

Indeed a perfect covert mission I"d say, Thanks to Mr Tankalan who suggested it.

Perhaps *turning to mr Ardwyad* with a huge smile, after our little scare, we offer the Starfleet our legendary drink Razanis.  I just happened to bring a bottle
