Mission One: Save the People, Make the Jump.

"Hmmmm, Until further notice we are on standby I suppose.  Oh, I need you to help make sure everything is onboard the ships incase we have to leave in a hurry.  For now, I need you to make sure we have medical supplies, if we leave and are forced into combat we are bound to get wounded make sure the ships are as best equiped as possible.  Keep it low key, we dont need Avalon station knowing about this operation or the activity down here.  Keep it as low key as possible, we are probly going to be doing alot of beaming up gear and men and vehicles so make sure they are beamed up and taken care of, break out the heavy weaponry.  Like the Plasma Gattling guns.  If we have to defend that planet then we need to make sure we can hold the line and entrench ourselves quickly.  We will probly not have much time but if we have to mobilize in a hurry I want to be deployed on that planet just as fast.  Set up fire teams to hold the line and hold key area's.  Pretty much make sure everyone is well informed that we may be going into heavy combat which means alot of the younger marines may faulter make sure they dont.  Understand?" he told Oliver.

"Strike 1, Private.  I suggest you dont make it strike 3 or your out of the marine corp." he said as Meyers left the room.

<When the door to the office closed>

"Powell, I suggest we watch Meyer's.  I think hes going to end up in the brig before too long, he was on the verge of insubordination.  So we best keep him away from vital area's of the base.  I dont think he gets the seriousness of the Marine Corp." he told Powell with Julian standing nearby.

OFF: Balk, i know your excited about the  mission but you need to slow things down about to give me a chance to reply to things with my characters. Also I don't like the how you treated Private Meyers in one of your posts. next time I expect better treatment of your enlisted men for they are the back bone of the entire marone corp. Without them there will be only but a few officers and that is not going to stop a Kazon invasion. Also without the respect of your enlisted men how will you be able to depend on them and how will they be able to depend on you? Think about that for a moment.

OFF: Regardless Balkazar Meyers is right. Now I do not want to see another situation like this on my board again next time an issue comes up like this take it to the mediation offices. I am going to delete all the other OCC posts.

"Hmmmm, I think I have just the men.  Tho as a contingency I suggest that we have the marines and equipment divided between the Saba, Corellia, and the Washington just incase we have to move quickly to the planet.  I know its not what you had in mind but marines always have a back up plan, not to mention if they do demostrate warp then we can act immediately without having to wait for men, gear, and vehicles to load up.  That will take quite awhile to pull off, so as of now the marines are on standby just in case."

"Your men will report to the Fenix, Meyers go with Fenix.  Get Richerd and have 10 of his men join him." he told Meyers as he entered the office.

"Sir yes Sir, also sir permission to take Galindez with me he is the only person i trust besides you that can also watch my back"

"You are right Colonel. But also keep in mind that there others that need to be looked after aswell. Your men for example. The needs of the many out weighs the need for the few. THink on that for a moment. Oh and the platoon will be needed and they will be sent."

*...Powell turns and heads to the door...*

"Lets head out boys. I will be joining Julian in his shuttle. Colonel I want you with the rest of the Alpha Squadren. Keep everyone on yellow alert. Good luck and I'll speak with you soon."

Im not too sure as of yet. We will have to wait until we can get more intel from the officers there now.

I hope the rest of your team will be here soon as there may not be much time.

"Wait, PRE-WARP!.  That would mean that they dont have warp drive.  So if we follow the prime directive they are out of our juristiction.  Unless your thinking of breaking the Prime Directive and assisting them anyways sense theres Kazon involved.  If this force is indeed Kazon then that threat falls under our juristiction.  But your wondering if you should involve the marines in this matter arent you?" he said with concern in his voice.

[Gregory Meyer]

"Its off by 2 years. The planet was considered less advanced, so less interesting to the Marines. Although i have immobilized some handy people to fix that."

*Yates looks to Julian and back to Powell.*

"They are Pre-Warp. I don't belive there is much we can do. The Primeary Directive clearly states we are not to interfere with civilizations who have yet to establish warp drive."

OFF: Julian try to support my reasoning, its im,portant we find away to disapprove of the operatino to begin the story. =P

"I've been in 6 different species version of a brig, it takes a good deal to make me flench Colonel. I do my job and i do it well. I feel you've gotten my point."
He places his hands behind his back and walks out of the office.

Back in his quaters he gets all his gear ready to jump into in the event of mobilzation.  He looks the door and retrives his personal scope from his locker placing it on his bedside table.
