Introduce yourselves and tell us a little about yourself.
I'll start, I am Marco Diaz, I have been in command of the Academy since about 2 months ago. I am part of The Command Staff which includes Admiral Ransom, and Admiral Karelia.
I want to do a good job for the academy's sake and send the right message to new cadets looking for an enjoyable Roleplaying experience. I hope that the roster of teachers agrees with me on that.
If we can get everyone to participate I know that it will help to make the whole academy alot better and more organized.

I've been working on an Acadmey-wide curriculum and a general outline that all instructors should follow. It will make "what to teach" clear and make for a swift turn out rate. I will post it when its ready, if you have anything you'd like to add or want to see please let me know.

*Archer steps into the lounge to see if there are any teachers... the sight of the lounge disappoints him. There is no one there, and by the looks of it, no one has been for weeks. On every table, he could see a lot of dust and paperwork. It looks as if everyone suddenly 'escaped' the academy.*

As you all have read in the News announcements, all new members of the fleet that want to be in an higher rank need to enroll in the academy. So all teachers be ready to receive further orders and a lot of new cadets.

You will most likely be assigned to serve on a starship or station. You may however tell us which ship/station you prefer to serve on. We can then take that into consideration, but we cannot promise you you will be placed on the vessel of your first choice.

That is acceptable.
The best way for me is to get an idea of the curriculum, but for now I could teach off the top of my head I will start now if you like.
Bear in mind my expertise lies in Science not engineering, but as you need some understanding of science to be an engineer I could start with how Starship engines do what they do, that would be logical.

Clyde, we'll receive a few new cadets today. One of them wants to learn about everything, so he will visit you soon. His first subject is Engineering, which I will teach him and two other cadets. After that, his next subject will be JAG and immediately after, he will have his Marine-training.

That's an excellent idea Clyde. I think it's good if there also is a teacher. You can tell us what you think about the whole plan and maybe you also have some ideas. I'm going to visit him in his office on Kennedy Base, I guess you will be able to find it aswell?
