[Kawolsky]

"Yes, you are right, we should carry on with training. What would you like to practice cadet?"

" yes sir, when the sensors detect intruders,  it beams the officer into a postion that is strategically safe, that was one of the last algorithms i put in, and in the case of multiple security personel, it will scatter them. making them harder to hit "

[Kawolsky]

"Correct. And what may the day-to-day responsibilities of a security officer include?"

[scotty]

" i would report my suspicions to the captain, as a security officer it is my duty to report possible dangers to ships security "

[Kawolsky]

*Upon hearing the alert Kawolsky grabs a phaser from his desk*

"Computer are there any intruders in Engineering?"

"Negative."  the computer replied

"Computer, initiate Rapid Response program. Security Team Alpha, meet me in Engineering."

*Kawolsky and Scotty are beamed to engineering*

[Kawolsky]

*OOC: Sure, no problem.*

"If it suits you then that is fine with me. Anyway, to begin your training with me, I would like you to take a look at the Starfleet Database on weapons and Security Protocol. Then I will gove you a short quiz to test you, after which we willl visit General Newberry, the commander of this base."

[Stefan Haynes]

"It looks like I know a thing or two about security. I do wish the stalling would stop so I can get to what I am here for"

[scotty]

" i would like a trip to the phaser reange sir, but no test would bore me im here to learn everything i can sir

[Kawolsky]

*Kawolsky re-enters his office*

[scotty]

" not really sir , im beginning to understand alot more of security/tactical dutys now. shall i leave you and your guest sir? "

[scotty]

" yes sir "

* he leaves the  room and stands outside *

[scotty]

" i will test in anything you think is appropriate to get me to cadet level 3 sir "

[Kawolsky]

"I have been thinking cadet. When the officer beams to the location of the intruders, he would not know where he is in relation to anything, and in the time it take him to get his bearings, he could be shot or even killed. Do you have a solution to this problem?"

[scotty]

" it may include anything from investigations, patrol dutys, apprahending criminals, defending their starship/starbase, maybe even duty at the tactical station.

[Kawolsky]

"Next. Your ship encounters a shape-shifting species. They appear to be a kind, genuine race, however you have reason to suspect they have ulterior motives but you do not have any evidence. Do you go to your Captain with your suspicions or do you keep quiet?"
