Mission 4: Romulan Coalition Base

Tom and Ken returned from Kennedy Base Ops and went to the Captain's Ready Room.

Tom sat at his desk.

"So what do you think?"

"I don't about you, but it's about time I see what this ship and crew can do in a battle situation."

[Ken Garcia]

*Ken was talking to Captain Dillian when a console was beeping*

What is that ensign?

Ensign: A signal from the Blackfire, they are going to warp, uh warp 5 sir.

Garcia: very well, helm go to warp 5 and match up witht them.

Holo Helm: Aye sir only happy to oblige.

*the ship went to warp and lined up next to the Blackfire.*

*Standing at the door to the briefing room he sees one of his new crew members*

Mr. Richerd, thank you for being prompt. I have not had the time to look at your dossier, so I am not sure as to what post you have been assigned to. For now, I would like you to organize a security team and prepare them for ship wide training excercises. In a couple days we are heading into the Romulan territory. ON:  *Walks into the briefing room finding his seat at the end*

Commander Q, I have recieved updates on our orders from Intelligence HQ. As soon as we finish with these Gentlemen *looks at the Romulans while he said it*

Oh, and Mr. Q, I want you to have all department heads prepare appropriate diagnostics. We are changing course immediately. I want a new ETA on our new destination, the Romulan border *passes him a padd that showed where they were heading* These are the coordinates.

Mr. Picard, how are the ship's weapons systems doing, are we battle ready? Have your teams repair any and all systems that are needed.

*Looks over to the Romulans again and a small grin comes to his face* Now, Mr. Picard, how do you know these men? Could they help us at all?

*Ken was sitting at the command chair*

*he turned his head and looked around to face Cmdr. Picard*

Wha-,? Scan the ship, check to see if he transported off.

Then lets get them the #### of this ship so we can restart the programs that we had shut down and reset the codes by verbal command.

***4 1/2 hours pass by***

**Meanwhile during that time ship duties went on**

Helm: "Captain, we are within range of the Lyonesse Base"

"On Screen"

*The Asteroid cluster is shown on the main screen*

"Send a signal and let them know we are here"

Ops: Message sent  *He waited for a response*
        no response yet captain.

Garcia: "Hmm, perhaps the base is not fully crewed yet; maintain present course and prepare ship for docking procedures.

Picard, Get our guests and bring them to the transporter room.

Q, get the ship ready for our departure after a short shore leave.

everyone else, enjoy your time off. 1 day shore leave.

I feel the same way Captain. I have read the reports of this ship and I have been eager to see her power unleashed.

Although we could use more crew I still think we can deal with any problem at hand.

yeah about that, I talked to him in a work out and he told me he felt a bit ill and went to his quarters to rest it off.  don't know how long he will be.

OFF:  I think it's Will. someone should tell him to post with that character again.

Follows the XO down to the shuttle bay just intime to see The generals Shuttle arrive.

*Ken sat in his chair and watched everyone doing their duties, while doing this he was checking files in his arm padd*

**Meanwhile the ship was getting ever closer to the location of Lyonesse Base**

OFF: Our initial mission was to  help out the Blackfire, before the division merged. it was all messed up after a while because nobody was posting.

Hopefully this new mission will spark some interest.
