He climbed out of the jefferies tube and went back to where Detrell worked.
"I will return to the Rivendell now sir. Without the other two I would be working and holding my fellow officers off from where we need to go. Hopefully I have helped some, the shields are now at 50% power, but assuming the cadet I left for the torpedo bay got out of having to do anything, that was all that was accomplished".
He finished, and transported to the Rivendell.

[Eugene Archer]

*Archer looks up as Admiral Julian walks in*

"Ah, admiral, how are you?"

"Yes, everything is going very well. The engineering department has just finished a couple of turrets. I've checked them and they are ready to be deployed."

[Julian]

I'll be in my office if you need anything
*walks to the CO's office in ops*

What happened to the turrets? why did they not stop the incoming attack fleet of felians? the situation is now under control but Dantors safety relies on those turrets. Please get back to me once you have run tests on the turrets and they are fully operational. Julian out=^=

[Kirby Oak]

"Hmm. I hope it's not sick. Let's replace it and have it sent to the medical bay."

*Kirby started removing the gel pack.*

[Kirby Oak]

*Kirby hadn't quite expected the questions, but managed to respond with only minor hesitation.*

"I'm not seeing counselors, I've seen counselors. There's nothing wrong with my mental health, they just feel the need to check every once in awhile. If I were crazy, do you really think they'd let me into starfleet?"

*He sighed then began speaking again in a quieter tone.*

"If you must know, my mother died when I was very young. That's the sort of thing that gets you into extra counseling sessions. I'm not really the type of person that enjoys those types of disscussions."

[Detrell]

Hmm why not....but I don't know one right away...

[Detrell]

"Understood, I will be ready after the funeral"

[Hermes]

"Thank you, Mr. Detrell."

[Hermes]

"I am certainly ready, Mr. Chellick. If you access engineering panel 5/B-24... yes, indeed on your right, you will see I am displaying a list of open software ports. You may use these open ports to load the subroutines and connect them to my program. On panel 5/B-25, right next to this one, you will find a list of all the personality subroutines I have selected from the station computer's database. I hope they all meet your approval. Hopefully, when the subroutines are implemented, I will learn an appropriate way to thank you for your efforts as well."

[Hermes]

"The last upgrade had caused some internal software conflicts that need to be realigned and recalibrated. I trust you will not remove those subroutines, but only repgrogram them as needed."

[Detrell]

"No problem, I must say that the doubts I had in the past are now completely gone. I think that you Hermes are a fine addition to this station, and who knows maybe you will become a holographic person one time and be able to participate with the whole crew and civilians."

[Taryn Morrow]

*Morrow calmly does routine checks on the station's systems, moving from console to console, finding everything on the station to be operational...for a change. She makes way over to a larger console and addresses HERMES.*

"And how are we feeling today, Mr. Hermes? Are all your programs running smoothly? I assume Detrell finished that work on your subroutines..."
