Starfleet Gazetteer / Interview- Keli Lauren
April 12, 2007, 07:38:06 PM
Oh wow! Looks like I'm running low on interviews. I'll start getting back to those PMs and get some more stocked up! Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy this one and keep up the comments- they make me feel happy inside! Lol.

-----------------------------------

By: Ensign Mark Lois
Interviewed: Lt. Commander Kelli Lauren
Stardate:  60182.7

Interviewer: "Good afternoon Lieutenant, I'm glad you decided to come today," Mark said cheerfully.

Lauren: "It was my pleasure, Ensign," Lauren said. "Interesting idea, these interviews."

Interviewer: "Why thank you, now before we begin do you have any comments?" He asked, shuffling some papers.

Lauren: "None of any consequence, at least," she said with a smirk.

Interviewer: "Now your looking very nice today, do you use any type of make-up?" He asked, hoping she knew what that was.

Lauren: "No, but thank you. After serving with the Klingon fleet, you get used to worrying less about appearance."

Interviewer: He grinned, "No doubt about that," Mark looked down at his papers, "Are you interested in a relationship with anyone in starfleet?

Lauren: "Well," she said, the smirk dropping from her face immediately, "I was involved with another officer a while ago, but he... he was killed on the Evolution. Commander Bryan Hannah, you may have heard of him."

Interviewer: Mark raised an eyebrow, "You can't expect these things to not happen when you join Starfleet. After all, weird is part of the job."

Lauren: "I understand that," she said, "but it was the way it all happened. He was the one who stayed aboard as the ship was destroyed to re-ignite the Loxian sun."

Interviewer: He nodded, "So where do you come from, Earth?" He asked.

Lauren: "Yep, born in Boston, Massachusetts. Nice city, but crowded."

Interviewer: "Well it has to be crowded if it's on Earth," He commented, "Do you have any family or land there?"

Lauren: "My mother still has a house in New England," she said, "But she moved back to Vermont after my father was killed."

Interviewer: His face was blank for a second, "Right, so how old are you?"

Lauren: "Twenty-six," she answered after thinking a moment. "I've almost lost count, space seems to do that to you."

Interviewer: He nodded, "You.. Uh.. Wana go grab something to eat sometime?" He asked hopefully.

Lauren: Kelli laughed. "That depends, Ensign. Ever had gagh?"

Interviewer: "Um.. Say again?" He asked, his face still looking a bit blank.

Lauren: "I'm joking. I can't expect everyone to stomach it." she replied with a slight chuckle. "If you're buying, sure..."

Interviewer: A wide smile broke across Mark's face, "Great, one last question before we're out of time," He looked down at his page, turned it over and looked at it again. "Did you used to have a imaginary childhood friend?"

Lauren: "No, but I did used to try to convince people I was a Vulcan who's ears never grew in right." she said, giggling "I had to have half the class convinced!"

Interviewer: Mark laughed, "I might try that sometime with someone,. Thanks for your time Lieutenant, how about we have lunch in the mess hall once things calm down around here?"

Lauren: "Sounds good. Like I said, you're buying," Kelli said with a smirk

Okay, my time on expansionfleet is becoming ever limited. For those of you who read my logs and posts you can see that I'm slacking on my daily 4 times a week posts.

Anyways I'm going to stop these interviews for about a month or two, just a little break.. For me...

Um, yea.. For those who pmed me in the past who offered to be interviewed(Around 5 or 7 of you http://www.expansionfleet.com/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> ). I need you to pm me again, include any instant messaging you have, MSN, AOL, so on. If you don't have any or you don't want to give it out just pm me that and I'll get back to you. Once I recive your PM I'll try and fit you into around June or after.

I'll most be likely away for 1/3 of the summer, but when I'm home I'll be able to do alot of interviews and stock them up, than distupite them across the coarse of the next month. Yea, that made no sense, I know.

Just a note, I'll still be posting in the missions and logs like I always do..

To sum it all up: All those who offered to be interviewed, just pm me your IM or if you don't have one PM me anyways. I'll be stopping the interviews for 2 months or so, just as a break.

And last but not least, give me a Promotion.
..Kidding! Well... If you want to give me a promotion you can..

Starfleet Gazetteer / Interview- Admiral Yates
February 15, 2007, 11:48:50 PM
By: Ensign Mark Lois        Interviewed: Admiral Andrew Yates    Stardate: 60100.8

Interviewer: Mark sat down and smiled at the admiral, "Thank you for joining us today admiral,"

Yates: ...Admiral Yates took his seat opposite of the young ensign...* "Oh it was my pleasure Ensign."

Interviewer: "Now before we begin do you have any comments?" Mark asked, shuffling some papers.

Yates: "Only that I am quiet intrested in this project you are running. Perhaps later on after the interview we could have a talk at the Celtic Corner to further discuss this. You may begin the interview when your ready. Take you time." *...Andrew smiled and waited for the Ensign to situate himself...*

Interviewer: Mark grinned, such a formal person. "Let's start off with the first question; what in your own words is the best part of being a admiral?"

Yates: *...Yates thought and gave a slight nod and grin and answered the question...* "Well my favorite part of being an admiral would have to be all the people I work with. I love applaying my self and seeing others apply themselves to preform above and beyond the call of duty. I also love seeing young ensigns work their way up the ranks and seeing them grow up in a manner of speaking. So I suppose my favorite thing about being an admiral is my fellow officers I serve with."

Interviewer:  Mark nodded, "Kind of how a father watchs his children grow into men?"

Yates: "Yes, I suppose you could say that. I am actually proud to say that one day my very own son might take my place on the high command someday he he can make it to his classes on time."*...Yates chuckled...*

Interviewer: Mark smiled, than turned a page, "What do you think of Admiral Tom Hobson, the CO of the deep space acadamy?"

Yates: "I think he is a good man. He has done wonders for the DSA and if he had his old Nova Division it would be one of the best divisions around. He is a fine officer and the fleet would not be were it is today without him being on the High Command."

Interviewer: "Another question," Mark said, " Are you very fond of klingon food?"

Yates: *...Yates giggled at the question...* "No. Thats all I have to say."

Interviewer: Mark laughed, "I feel there's too much meat in they're food. Okay moving on," He turned a page, "Are you married, Admiral? Most officers keep they're personal lives a secret."

Yates: *...Andrew sighed and looked down then looked back up to Mark...* "Well, it has been sometime since i last spoke of it but I lost my wife about 11 years ago. She was on a ship heading to starbase 185, were i was stationed at the time, and her ship fell under attacked by a Romulan Warbird. We never found out why it attacked and about two years after the case was closed."

Interviewer: Mark nodded, "I'm sorry admiral." He turned a page, "How long do you plan on staying in Starfleet before you retire?"

Yates: "Oh this old dog has about four years left on him before he even considers retirement." *...He chuckles...* I plan on being here until I start to have limbs fall off. Even after that i will have the medical staff slap on bionical ones."

Interviewer:  Mark nodded, "One last question; do you find Captain Janeway of U.S.S. Voyager attractive?" He asked awkardly.

Yates: *...Yates sat for a moment with a blank expression for as long as he could hold it then luaghed and when he calmed himself he replied...* "No. From my experiances with her, only meeting her a few times, I do not think anything of her. We have gotten into more scraps and arguments over the most strangest and most simple of things. Oh and I beleive you mean Admiral Janeway. She has rubbed that silly promotion in my face since she got the transmission. I always told her she would never make it into the admirality before me becuase she smelt of pencil shavings and stale bread. If I were to think anything of her it would be as an ugly little sister." *...yates giggles a moment as he gave his playful reply...*

Interviewer: Mark laughed hard, "Yea, I was thinking of when she returned to earth." He turned the papers over, "Thank you Admiral Andrew Yates,"

Mark has hardly any experience in a starship besides the transport he was in when he escaped. After the shock of leaving his home planet he was overcome with the urge to protect other planets from what happened to his, thus joinning starfleet. Mark wishes to carry out his goals in protecting others and making the universe a much safer place.

Audio Bio:This thing on? Testing... Alright my name is Ensign Mark Lois of the Federation Starship Evolution, big title and all. Umm... I graduated from the acadamy a few weeks ago, it was fun though Rajnus was a bit tough- I heard he's tough with everyone. But nevermind him, I hardly even know anyone on Evolution! Really... Erm, yea. I met the First Officer.. Some random ensign and that's it. Man, do I have to make a new Audio every month? Meh, nothing else to do, once a month I'll make a new bio. So right now I'm in my twenties and I'm loving it, my head still hurts from the big homework assignment Rajnus gave me weeks ago and I just can't wait till Evolution gets underway. Hopefully I won't screw up on my first day as Tactical and accidently blow something up.

OFF-Game / Who Do You Want Interviewed?
February 23, 2007, 04:17:53 AM
I'm tempted to choose "Ensign Mark Lois" just to see how that will work.
