(OFF: I would post, but I've left the ship. Other than yourself, the only other assigned officer onboard is Bed Hirade.)

[Rikan]

"And sit by while you wage war upon Starfleet for trivial reasons, and engulf the Alliance in civil war as well? No. Chief, I hearby resign from the Alliance Defense Force. I'm leaving this ship, whether you like it or not, Chief. I won't have anything to do with this."

Rikan walks to the door, but turns around at the last moment.

"You haven't seen the last of me, Chief..."

[Taurik]

"You underestimate us, Representative," Taurik says in his matter-of-fact tone. He turns toward his tactical officer on the screen. "Lieutenant, lock phasers and load quantum torpedoes. Fire on my command."

[Ardwyad]

*Ardwyad lowers his head in shame.*
"What was I thinking indeed? I should have known better, and I only have myself to thank for all this."
*Then he turns to his crew.*
"Dock the Revox to the flagship, and hand Mentora over to the authorities... as well as myself."
*Soon thereafter, the Revox had docked to the flagship of Tash and Pax, Mentora was transferred to the flagship's brig, and Ardwyad's commission as D.A. officer was removed.*

[Bed Hirade]

As I return to the bridge I see that the Chief is gone. I take his Chair, then I see how badly the Nigillian was affected I contacted Pax.

IC: He was being infulenced by someone that was more powerful that he was in the chain of command. If an ambassidor says attack this race you attack that race. Eventually the Chief got sick of following the orders and handed himself and ambassidor Pax to the authories that were chasing us to arrest them both for war crimes.

"Indeed, a science vessel is better equipped to sweep the vast area of the Van'Gu cluster. They can probably locate it more efficiently, faster and with a smaller waste of resources. Besides, such an important research project likely needs the Queen's approval first anyway."

OFF: Helloooo? I've been waiting for a week now!

"I'll get right on it, Chief."

Rikan spins around in his chair and slides to the dat-link sub-console and begins accessing the Dralian Archive of Commerce.

[Rikan]

"Quarval, she's... she's gone! Apparantly, the Evolution grabbed her moments before our own teleporters established a lock."

[Ardwyad]

"Make sure we get it aboard, Mr. Hirade. I want to see that for myself."

[Bed Hirade]

Yes Chief but they are approaching a section of the boarder that is not controled by starfleet.

After thirty minutes I had arrived at the doors to the engineering department. Beyond it I could hear voices. But they didn't sound human.

=/\= Chief I know something is wrong. I think some one is waiting in ambush of the Starfleet. I am over at engineering and I can hear voices on the otherside of the door but they are not human sir. I don't like the sound of what they are saying. I think the Humans Call them Romulans Sir. =/\=

"Mr. Rikan, I don't think you have been listening very well to what Mr. Mentora said. We are not the ones who provoked a war here, we are not the ones who broke regulations. We only realise we need to be ready to defend ourselves, if Starfleet decides to attack us. And I find your loyalty to your people very noble, but you're crossing the line here when you would prevent your superior officers from carrying out their orders and duties. If you don't wish to participate, then I suppose I can't force you, but I will have to ask you to retreat to your quarters until all this is over."
