Title: The arrival of Kha'Var
Post by: KHa Var on September 07, 2004, 10:05:20 AM
*KHa'Var suspiciously eyes Commodore Hedford and the other man as they are whispering. She looks at Ambassador Gordon then at Vorlok. Making up her mind KHa'Var speaks.*

"Ambassador Gordon, take Vorlok to the Flag Admirals quarters whithout delay. I shall stay here with the Commodore."

*KHa'Var gives Vorlok a meaningful look before ignoring both Vorlok and the Ambassador.  Vorlok getting the hint from KHa'Var  scrambles about the Ambassador sniffing him and picking/proding at his uniform. Appearing dissinterested Vorlok atemps to run to the turbolift, but the disgruntled Ambassador Frank Gordon is able to get a hold on the back of the boy's shirt.*

Ambassador Frank Gordon: "Alow me to show you the way to the Flag Admiral's quarters.  We don't want you to get lost in this large space station, Vorlok.  Follow me please."

*KHa'Var enjoyed watching Vorlok's antics, for a change.  she discreatly and protectively watched as Ambassador Gordon guided Vorlok out of OPS with a restraining hand on his shoulder. KHa'Var sees that the two men are still whispering, and decides to make her move the moment the doors of the turbolift close. "wait for it, now!"  She quietly charges Hedford, slaming him into the wall behind him. And in the same movement she lifts him up against the wall by his neck.*

KHa'Var: "I comand you to answer my questions!  Were is Vorak! I do not belive this story of yours, that 'he is not here'! I know Vorak is here, he is hiding from me.  Isn't he!  Tell me why I shouldn't snap your little neck!  I have requested a report on Vorak dating back 8 years, you have yet to comply.  I will not tollerate such lazyness!  You there, what were you both talking about?  Don't even think of calling security, you just may end up one ambassador short."

OFF: sorry if you think I am being a little bit harsh, but KHa'Var has a problem with those who try to put off matters of importance (such as reports).    ;)

Title: The arrival of Kha'Var
Post by: Embries on September 08, 2004, 02:33:02 PM
*Embries bends over to see if Hedford is injured from the fall, scanning him with his tricorder. Then he looks up at Kha'Var.*
"I am science officer Embries, and you are lucky that Mr. Hedford is not badly injured, or he would not even be able to get you that report any more."
*He helps Hedford back on his feet.*
"So, Klingon captain, what is the purpose of your visit? It is not according to Starfleet regulations to just beam in at ops and demand reports. Only Starfleet admirals are entitled to do so. In other words, what reason can you give me for not calling security and have you taken to the brig?"

"This will likely be able to be achieved with the available equipment in the Medical Department of this station. Also, Dr. Nickerson, it appears that one of your patients has awoken. It regards one of the patients that were brought over from Starphoenix Base after the Na'jigat attack. His name is Jeremy Sullivan, Admiral and Commanding Officer of Starphoenix Base."

*Hedford quickly answered to the incoming hail before Mrs KHa'var could deny him. He whispered and held a close look at Mrs KHa'var*

=A= Hedford to Admiral Vorak =A=
"Understood Admiral, but before you step into the airlock. Make sure you have answers and I mean very good answers for your...."wife". She kind of wants to know where you have been for the past 8 years but frankly I question her story. "
*Hedford then raised his voice and began to speak normally*
"Yes Admiral, dockingport 6 is available for your arrival"
                                =A= Hedford out =A=

Post by: KHa Var on September 13, 2004, 10:15:15 AM
*At Vorloks words regarding the man who came with him, KHa'Var remembers what she was doing and quickly released the half choked man.*

"My apology's sir.  I was over reacting to a nonexistent threat towards my only son."

*She turns towards Hedford.*

"Will this prisoner's escape interfere with Vorak's arrival?  And could you have security stop following my son around?"

*KHa'Var then looks at her son.  Not wanting to do this to herself, after several months. *

"I will keep Vorlok with me, that is unless one of you could watch him while I speak to Vorak alone."

*She looks at those gathered around her.*

"Maybe one of you could show Vorlok the holodecks.  Or give him a tour of the station to familiarize him with it.  Show him where he is ALOUD to be and where NOT to be."

*KHa'Var patiently waits for their response.  It is difficult to wait with the scene going on around her, the warrior's responses of KHa'Var's training are urging her to take command of  the situation.  She closes her eyes and begins to hum.  The humming sound grows louder and louder until she is no longer able to hear the noise around her. Everyone in the room can hear a strange humming, but they don't know what is making the noise or where it is coming from.*

*Hedford was looking at one of the consoles and then turned to KHa'Var*

"No, the prisoner seems to have locked himself on the Skytoucher's bridge. So the arrival of Admiral Vorak should proceed as planned. The Aeris has also passed the dockingbay doors so the closure of them isn't a factor for delay either."

*Hedford then turns to Jarron who was still on the floor*

"Well there, Jarron. How about giving Vorlok here a tour around the holodeck and maybe the Klingon Restaurant? That way Mrs KHa'Var can talk to Admiral Vorak and doesn't need to worry about her son for that moment." *Hedford awaited Jarron's reply*

Whats that weapon you have on your belt? May I see it all I have is this *holds up dagger and watches the officers jump back very quickly drawing phasers*. ooooo is that what you do.  May I see father? *before an answer is given the phaser is out of hte holster and in Vorloks hand*.

*twirls it around on his finger, accidently setting it to stun.*

so u point like this *points to wall and press this button*

zzzzzzzap ( a beam shoots out burning the uniform corners of an ensign and hits the wall causing a very loud booom and a hole to appear.)

*vorlok suddenly finds himself surrounded by phasers pointed at him, *hides behind Voraks legs*  It was.. an accident? *with a hopeful look*

Well on the bright side, at least your teaching is paying off although  *in a rather humourous voice* You have yet to teach me something.  But I wouldn't mind playing with that phaser again, it gave that nice lady we saw in the medical bay a rather fluttering flinch.

OFF: At this point it is to be known that Vorak was on his way back from Shadowfleet to Avalon station, but "disappeared" on the U.S.S. Aeris and nobody has found him yet, or even remotely knows where he is.

*Near Avalon Station, a Klingon battlecruiser suddenly decloaks out of nowhere and without warning, facing the station. Instantly, an incoming hail from the powerful Vor'Cha ship arrives in Ops.*

=^= Incoming transmission =^=
This is Captain Kha'Var of the Vor'Cha Kahless! Now tell me where IS my husband.  Better yet I want a Full Report on his whereabouts over the past 8 years!  Have it ready for me and prepare to receve me on your bridge within 3 minutes, or you shall eat my steel! Oh and by the way I will not require you to arrange quarters for me as I will be useing Vorak's  for the duration of my stay.
=^= End transmission =^=

Title: The arrival of Kha'Var
Post by: Embries on September 07, 2004, 02:39:47 PM
*Embries takes a step back as Kha'Var makes her unexpected charge at Hedford, and looks at him as his face is turning red.*
"Well, I'm not so sure about she being the Flag Admiral's wife, a Vulcan and a Klingon wouldn't exactly be... logical. But then again, I have seen stranger things in my long life, and if one thing, she bears as much Klingon passion, as Vorak bears for his Vulcan logic..."
*Then he turns to the Klingon woman.*
"Surely if you release the good officer, he will be able to reach a panel again and request that report from the computer databanks, for you. Now, ma'am, I must kindly ask of you to release him, before I will be forced to hurt you."
*Embries' old and wrinkled face gazes at her with a slightly amused smile, as he leans on his tall wooden staff.*
Title: The arrival of Kha'Var

OFF: sorry about that Frank Gordon.  I was not quite sure how to go about someone else talking in one of my posts, will keep this factor in mind.  Once again my apologys.

"Finaly Some-one here has a brain!  Now Commadore Hedford, would you be so kind as to get me that report?  And it might be wise to remember, I don't take it lightly to be disrespected or have my orders ignored."

*Without waiting for a response she throws Commadore Hedford across the room, as though he was as light as a padd.  Then she ignores him as she turns her attention to the old man.*

"Respected elder what is your name and function?"

Post by: Sarah Parker on September 11, 2004, 06:41:53 PM
*Parker freezes for a moment, having caught the computer's statement. She practically vaults out of her chair and scrambles to the turbolift.*

"INFIRMARY, NOW!"

*The turbolift doors close. Sarah's PADDs and work are left unfinished on the console.*

Title: The arrival of Kha'Var
Post by: Vorak on September 12, 2004, 09:37:12 AM
OFF: Dr. Nickerson went to sickbay, and then to the docking bays already.

*Before Hedford steps into the turbolift, a console begins to make a signalling sound. Hedford hears it and returns to the console, to see there is an incoming hail. The viewscreen in Ops shows a Starfleet vessel approach from a nearby portion of the nebula. Hedford pushes a button to open a channel.*

=^= U.S.S. Aeris to Avalon Station =^=
This is Flag Admiral Vorak. There were some... unusual difficulties on my way to this station. I believe the Expansion Nebula should be avoided, for now. Prepare for my instant arrival.
=^= Vorak out =^=

"I'm afraid phasers or other weaponry are off-limits for you, Vorlok. Please observe me and my logical behavior as I am at work."
*He turns back to his duties, and checks the Expansion Nebula for any signs of the U.S.S. Skytoucher and U.S.S. Rivendell appearing again. He turns to the opeartions officer on duty.*
"Scan for cyrillium fluctuations. The Expansion Nebula is rich of cyrillium, and its fluctuations may indicate moving vessels moving through it."

OFF: Whoever is at the ops station right now.
OFF 2: Vorlok, why not take Vorak's words litteraly... he wants you to observe his behavior so you could learn from it. So, you could decide that the best way to learn from your father, is to mimic exactly everything he says and does. But of course, you'd make it look silly on purpose instead, to annoy him ;)

Hedford had retaken his normal duties in OPS after his abnormal mission with the USS Evolution. He was working on system diagnostics as he had to answer to an incoming signal.

=A= Station Avalon to the Vor'Cha Kahless =A=
"This is Commodore Hedford and I welcome you to Station Avalon. If I understand you correctly you are here for Flag Admiral Vorak? If this is correct, I will have to dissapoint you because he is still on an away-mission. Still you are granted to dock at our station. Dockingport 5 is available."
                         =A= Avalon Station out =A=

Hedford turned away from the console and grabbed his PADD. He shook his head.

"This must be the lowest excuse to dock our station. Admiral Vorak can't be married to a Klingon....it just can't" Hedford shook his head again and resumed his work.

ooc: If its easier no need to talk for me. I get..bothered to say the least when people talk for me.

As the turbolift doors close Gordon rubs the back of his head. Wondering why he was following the other Klingons orders.

Title: The arrival of Kha'Var
Post by: Embries on September 10, 2004, 06:31:03 AM
"Ahem..."
*Embries coughs and looks at Kha'Var.*
"That is a most... interesting story. Well, Vorak has been admiral on this fleet even before I arrived in this far corner of space. And the last thing I know of his whereabouts, is that he was called on an urgent but classified mission to Shadowfleet somewhere in the Expansion Nebula, and that upon his return here he disappeared. So far, the U.S.S. Aeris, the ship that was supposed to bring him here, has not arrived yet. As for his... wife... the rumour has been going around that Vorak's wife was dead... Something about being illogical and jumping off a mountain on Vulcan. I'm not sure if it is true or not, and if he said so himself, but I think I heard it from his assistant, Ms. Paris."
*Embries suddenly looks up, noticing Kha'Var's expression on her face and becoming aware that he probably said more than he should have.*
"But I must be going now, I believe my help is needed at the docking bay. Surely Mr. Hedford can accomodate you further as of this point."
*He turns around and smiles at Hedford, patting his shoulder.*
"Won't you, Commodore Hedford?"
*He then quickly strides out of Ops, making his way toward the docking bays.*
Title: The arrival of Kha'Var

*Hedford was listening carefully to KHa'Var*

"Well Mrs KHa'Var, if this could prove your relationship with Admiral Vorak I will be eager to assist you. We are able to acces it all from OPS, but I don't know...you said that Vorak's blood was also needed. Does it need to be real blood? Or just the DNA-Code?"

Title: The arrival of Kha'Var
Post by: Montrell on September 12, 2004, 03:57:58 PM
*The turboliftdoors slide open and Admiral Montrell runs out. He quickly runs to the closest station and hereby almost knocks Jarron to the floor but begins to tap several controls. He suddenly stops and turns to the rest of the OPS officers*

"Red Alert people! One of the prisoners has escaped and also took a hostage. I don't want him to take any ship or escape pod, so first of all close the dockingbay doors! Second, make sure that a tractor beam is fully charged and ready for usage!
Third, *Montrell points at an ensign standing in front of him* get me some coffee! Now to work people!."

*Every officer in OPS began to work on their consoles. To provent Vakin of leaving Station Avalon and escape justice*

*Jarron was still recovering from the nice approach of Mrs KHa'Var. He had heared the question of Commodore Hedford but wasn't quite sure if he really meant it. Was he asked or ordered to guide this kid, who actually was some kind of little devil.*

"Whhatt did you say Commmmodore?" *Jarron was still having trouble to speak*
"I..I...I" *Jarron then saw the look on Mrs KHa'Var's  face which told him enough. He had to guide this kid around or he would be thrown around again*

"All right Commodore, I will give this kid a tour of Station Avalon. But one thing, do I get hazard-pay out of this. You know, some nice bars of latinum?"
*Jarron then whispered to Hedford* "You should know that this kid is a real devil, he...he.."
*Hedford interrupted him* "Now calm down Jarron, I know you are the right man for this job and maybe this way you will finally have some action outside Celtic Corner;). Who knows, you might even like it!"

*After these words of Commodore Hedford, Jarron stood up and said to him*
"Finally outside Celtic Corner huh, well don't think I'm gonna clean up your room cause that's where this kid has also been!" *Jarron then walks to Vorlok, grabbs him by the arm and drags him into the turbolift*
"Medical Department" *And the doors close*

Title: The arrival of Kha'Var
Post by: Vorak on October 10, 2004, 01:49:52 PM
OFF: Here continues the storyline of Kha'Var and Vorlok.

*Vorak and Vorlok enter ops.*
"Vorlok, please observe me while working. It may be... less boring, then the previous meditation session, but yet just as much educational."
*Vorak turns to a console and taps some controls.*
"Computer, display last known positions of the U.S.S. Skytoucher and U.S.S. Rivendell."
*The computer shows a stellar map on the screen, pointing out both locations very close to the Expansion Nebula.*

OFF: Vorlok, this is where you can have fun. You can take Vorak's offer "litteraly", and begin imitating everything Vorak SAYS and DOES, but turning it ridiculous of course, with the idea to annoy him (and everyone else) by doing so. Have fun :)

=A= Hedford to Admiral Vorak =A=
"Admiral, I have finished cleaning up your quarters and won't like to do that again. Please control the child and don't let him in anyone's quarters or go "exploring" by himself. " *Hedford then whispers* "Maybe the brig would be a better place for him, behind a level 10 forcefield!"

*Hedford coughs*

"I'm sorry Madam KHa'Var. But I can't give you a report on one of the High ranking officers without permission. By my knowledge there is no record, either Starfleet or others, of you being his wife and that alone grants me the power to deny your request."

*Jarron and Vorlok stepped out of the turbolift. Jarron was wondering where he could find Vorlok's mother but suddenly his eye catches a Klingon female. He grabbed Vorlok by his arm again and walked towards her*

"Excuse me!" *Jarron was standing behind the 2 heads taller Klingon female* "I am sorry to interrupt your work but it seems that you have lost a precious possession called "Vorlok"?"

*Jarron awaited the reply from Vorlok's mother and at that same moment he saw Vorlok laughing. Why would he be laughing after being brought to his mother?*

*With her use of meditation, KHa'Var is able to discipline her warriors state of mind.  She slowly opens her eyes, to see Hedford looking at her.  KHa'Var sees that he is talking to her, but she does not hear the first part of what he is saying (as she is half in meditation).  During Jarron's reply, KHa'Var comes completely out of her meditation trance.  Once Jarron and her son (Vorlok) leave ops, she addresses Hedford.*

"I believe we should be heading to dockingport 6, where an admiral needs to be properly 'welcomed' to the station.  Is there not?" :wink2:

*KHa'Var glares at Vorak, when she notices that he was about to dismiss her as another appointment.  Then when he stopped in mid sentence, she knew that her words finally registered through his logical brain. KHa'Var thinks 'finally, a decision I don't have a problem agreeing with!'.  She storms after Vorak and follows him into his office.:angry3: *

I am transporting over to the bridge, my crew is competent enough to dock by themselves.  I hope for your sake Commodore Hedford, that you have that report ready for me.  I shall give you further instruction upon my arival, provided I don't need to deal with your incompedence.
=^= End Transmission =^=

KHa'Var: "Indifferent fools are running that station!  I will just have to correct that as it seems my husband is not 'present', more than likely he is hiding from me."

*KHa'Var gives orders to have the Kahless dock at  dockingport 5.*

KHa'Var: "You, Vorlok!  Come with me to the transporter room."

*A young Klingon boy falls instep behind his captain, with almost identical facial features to his captain.  In the transporter room a crew member stops them.*

Transporter Chief Ek'Tok: "Captain are you sure it is wise to take him with you?"

KHa'Var: "How else is Vorlok to learn to be ready for battle? His father has not bothered with teaching him, so it is my duty to teach him."

Vorlok: "My friend, you should know by now to trust KHa'Var's judgement.  I am old enough to be trained in the ways of ship combat."

Transporter Chief Ek'Tok: "Very well, just to be carefull I will take the liberty of keeping a lock on you Vorlok to beam you out of there at the first sign of mortal danger to.  Of course that is if you aprove, Captain KHa'Var?"

KHa'Var: "That will be fine, as this is only to bee seen as a training exercise for Vorlok.  Vorlok prepare yourself for possible combat, remember you are NOT to kill or injure only defend yourself and if need be render your opponent unconsious.  Beam us to the Stations Bridge!"

*KHa'Var and Vorlok are transported to the bridge of Avalon Station while the Vor'Cha Kahless manuvers to dockingport 5.*

KHa'Var: "Commodore Hedford, WERE IS that report on Vorak's wearabouts over the last 8 years? I am willing to grant you a little more time, If you show me to Voraks quarters, were Vorlok will remain.  Then you will take me to Vorak or his office were I will wait for him to come out of hiding. As I do not belive he 'left' the station without placing someone in charge of this mess."

*A little annoyed at having to repeat herself she does not appear to notice the woman who just entered ops.*

"First of all, Commodore Hedford, you can address me as Madam or Mrs. KHa'Var.  I am the only wife of Flag Admiral Vorak. Now will you be able to get me that report I asked for several times?  Or will you have someone else get it?"

*She looks directly at Embries*

"If you don't know by now, I will tell you again in terms you might understand better.  The purpose of my visit is to track down my ungrateful husband, Vorak.  We used to keep in close contact, until recently.  One day about 8 years ago I lost all contact with him.  I wish to know what has happened to him and why Starfleet would not give me any information about him.  As it is I was able to access Vorak's personal file from Starfleet, with a little help from my chief engineer.  I tried to look for a record of our marriage, and found that there was insufficient information about it.  Starfleet records only showed that Vorak did have a marriage on Vulcan in 2344, but does not say who to.  As it was the Vulcans did not agree to our union, it was deemed illogical.  They would not perform the ceremony so I had to arrange for  my CO to perform our ceremony.  My CO did not enjoy being tricked into performing the ceremony, so he had his revenge.  With the help of the Vulcan government my CO had arragned for me, and a ship with a full complementary crew, to be permanently based on Vulcan.  Both the Vulcans and the Empire saw this as a way to strengthen alliances.  The Empire commissioned the Vor'Cha Kahless to be my vessel, the captain recently died and the first officer was acting as the captain.  Upon their arrival I had to prove to them that I was worth being the ship's captain.  I was warned that the first officer would cause trouble, as he has always done in the Empire.  Which is needless to say why they decided to get rid of him without killing him, as he is a great warrior in battle.  In short, I should still be on Vulcan, But my crew and I could no longer Stand being there!  It is a surprise that we remained on Vulcan and in Vulcan space for the past 36 years!  We stayed as long as we did because it was the only place Vorak could come see me without having to answer a lot of questions.  But yes if I could have, I would have done this 8 years ago.  However I did not, could not under the circumstances at that time."

*KHa'Var takes a moment to gather her thoughts for what she will tell them next.*

Dr. Nickerson walks onto Ops, and sees two Klingons there talking to Cmdre. Hedford and Major Embries. He addresses the female, the one who appeared to be the Captain, or was it Commander? Or Brigadier? Mike never was good at reading Klingon military insignia.

*Vorak glances at the ops officer, to make sure he is not doing anything of the sort, and then turns to Vorlok.*
"Vorlok, I have already pointed out to you, that weapon system are off limits for you. If you are unable to obey to those rules, we may always return to the holodeck and continue the Vulcan program instead."

*Vorak opens the transmitted data on a console and looks at it for a moment.*

=^= Vorak to Skon =^=
This is crucial information indeed, and this discovery may give us time to prepare for a likely assault of the Loxian government. Thank you, captain. Your orders are to dock as soon as you arrive, and begin immediate repairs. If the Loxian fleet is on its way indeed, we will need every ship in the sector.
=^= Vorak out =^=

*Vorak taps his commbadge.*
"All senior officers, report to my office."
*Then, he turns to Vorlok.*
"I am to hold a briefing with my senior officers, and Starfleet protocol does not allow me to include the presence of non-essential people, if they are not involved with the situation about to be discussed. Therefore, I assign you to the Promenade for recreational activities. We will continue the studies and training at a later time. Dismissed."
*Vorak turns around and heads toward his office.*

OFF: Senior officers, this story continues in Vorak's Office topic.
Senior officers expected to show up, are:
- Montrell
- Detrell
- Hedford
- Dr. Nickerson
- Embries

OFF2: Vorlok, you should hang out on the Promenade now, but keep two things in mind: don't run into Kha'Var yet (she's in the Klingon Restaurant) and not at Enoch's store yet either. He has to return to his store still, and then I'll tell you something crucial that is to happen there, but I'll let you know.

*Before KHa'Var had transported over Hedford was talking to Ambassador Gordon*

"Ah Ambassador, you've arrived no moment too late. You may greet them and show them our station, but don't mention the word Flag Admiral or Vorak. She seems to think that she's his wife." *Hedford smirks*

"I think she won't be interested in Vorak if she notices the other facilities of this sta....." *at that moment Captain KHa'Var and another individual were transported into OPS. Hedford was surprised and showed enough expressions on his face*

"Wwwelcome Captain Kha'var, I see you have found your way to OPS. This is Ambassador Frank Gordon who is most happy to give you a guide through the station." *Hedford points at the man standing besides him*

Off: well she's definitely not one to upset.  I wonder if married life is really like that.

Post by: KHa Var on September 12, 2004, 10:01:17 PM
*KHa'Var silently gave her acquiescence with a nod of her head.  She docilely follows Hedford to the turbolift.  Suddenly KHa'Var stops, the sound emanating from one of the consoles draws her attention.  She sees Hedford rush over to the console.  she thinks 'It must be very important, well at least more important than my true identity at this time.'  KHa'Var notices movement on the viewscreen, a ship coming into the station.  'Could it have news of Vorak?'  She moves closer to Hedford and the console.  KHa'Var cannot help but overhear the communication sent by the incoming vessel.  It was Vorak's voice.  A bit anxious She attempts to reach the console before Hedford, but he gets to it before she can (being closer to it at the time).  KHa'Var looks both questioning and suspicious at Hedford as he whispers something into the console.  She hears the turbolift doors open and jumps around into an attack stance, expecting an ambush.  Instead she sees a man holding onto Vorlok in an agitated manner.  The man speaks to KHa'Var directly.  At the sight of this man with Vorlok (who was told to stay in Vorak's quarters), triggers her maternal instincts to protect her young son.  KHa'Var jumps at the man, grabbing the restraining arm and twisting it behind his back with one hand.  With the other hand she grabs his throat and begins to slowly squeeze.*

"Tell me Ha'DIbaH, what were you doing with my son in your possession?  Why have you taken him from his father's quarters?  Is this your way of challenging me?  Answer now or die!"

*While in the process of "disciplining" the man who entered with Vorlok, the turbolift doors opened once more.  Annoyed with this disruption, she tightens her choke hold on the man.  Some of the conversation is able to filter through her maternal rage.  'An escaped prisoner?' KHa'Var wonders.*

"Vorlok!  WHAT HAVE YOU DONE THIS TIME!!!!!  How many times do I have to tell you NO PLAYING with Security systems?"

*She looks at Vorlok demanding an explanation of his actions, all the while tightening her grip on the mans throat (of whom KHa'Var has completely forgotten about at this time).*

OFF: I thought there was only one Klingon present in Ops, Kha'Var? The second, half Klingon child Vorlok was sent to Vorak's quarters, so he's not here. :)

*KHa'Var could not hear or see Vorlok.  Nor can she hear or see anything else around her.*

OFF: Vorlok, I like your 'rank'.  :jump:

*Before Hedford can reply, KHa'Var speaks up.*

"During your absence HUSBAND, this station has crumbled into disorder.  I have attempted to restore order here, but they admantly refused to obey my comands.  As they do not believe me to be your wife."

*KHa'Var's anger is starting to build up once more.*

"I must say that your return is long over due!  YOUR ABSENCE HAS BEEN 8 LONG YEARS!!!! Why did you leave me to endure those years of Vulcan logic alone??  Is it because I jumped off the side of a mountain?  You know why I did that.  My first officer learned that day not to try to ambush me, unfortunately he did not remain around to use it.  After that day we did not have to worry about someone attempting to crush us with a rock slide.  Shortly after you left and I have not heard from you since!  Tell me! Why?  Was it the "illogical way" I had to deal with him?"

*Her anger gets the better of her and she lets slip that which she wanted to say at a more convenient time.*

"I should not have to explain myself! YOU DO, to me and our son, why you have not been in our lives!"

*Now that the reason of her frustration has finaly come out, KHa'Var's anger subsides.  At this news, Vorak's calm composure turns to one of shocked surprise.*

*And suddenly a message comes in.*

=A= Skon to Vorak -- secure channel -- =A=

Admiral, Commander Rasmain has made an important discovery. I will give you a full report when I return...but...the device we captured on our last mission is, indeed, Loxian in origin. It is a spy device and it transmits our movements to the Loxian Government. We have isolated it for the moment, but it is logical to assume that the Loxians know that we captured Vakin and Varnek...as well as their secret device...and they will certainly send a fleet to recapture their "property." Avalon should be vigilant. Here is Commander Rasmain's full report.

*Skon transmits the data that Rasmain has gathered.*

Title: The arrival of Kha'Var
Post by: Embries on September 07, 2004, 07:39:55 AM
*At that moment, Embries was working on one of the science stations at Ops, and overlooked what was going on. He took his staff and strode over to Hedford as quiet as he could, and whispered.*
"I think the woman wants to know what is going on with the Flag Admiral. And frankly speaking, where IS he indeed?"
Title: The arrival of Kha'Var
Post by: Sarah Parker on September 08, 2004, 09:55:35 PM
*Parker emerges from the turbolift, her countenance pure of emotion. She allows the three on the far side of ops a cursory glance whilst slowly ambling across the room to the main docking bay console. The Betazoid takes no care to read the minds of those present, rather, she seems distant, uninterested. She downloads data concerning the attack from the ships present (as this information was unavailable to her on the base with no power). Her attention does not divert in any way. She stares down at the lit console, almost in a daze, or mental absence.*
Title: The arrival of Kha'Var
Post by: KHa Var on September 10, 2004, 10:33:34 AM
*For the first time KHa'Var seems to be a little unnerved.  She thinks 'Evidently being so far out here they don't know about me and my crew are considered renegades by both the Empire and the Vulcans.  I gave them plenty of hints that I am disobeying direct orders.  If they don't know then why should I be the one to tell them.  At least I know a little bit more about my husbands location.  I wonder if they have even thought of searching for him since his disappearance.  I will have to question the entire Senior staff of the U.S.S. Aeris once they arrive.'  KHa'Var quickly controls her facial expression, hoping that no one has seen the slight change.  She addresses Hedford.*

"Does he always do that?  Anyways, I have heard those regulations and such before from Starfleet, they would not even give me his recent post.  But it was not too difficult to figure it out, as I said before."

*KHa'Var looks at Hedford strangely.*

"Oh come on now, quit cringing!  I don't have a contagious disease and I am not insane!  If you are worried about me attacking you, don't be.  I was just a little frustrated.  Now I know that there is no official record of me being Vorak's wife, thanks to his family on Vulcan.  However I did take a precaution, and had Vorak secretly request our marriage to be kept as a classified official record.  It has been encrypted with our DNA sequences, Vorak's and mine.  I could verify the existence of this record with your assistance.  I would have been able to accomplish this by my self, if all I needed was a sample of my blood.  But that would be too easy, Vorak just had to make it difficult.  To access the classified record a sample of Vorak's and my blood is needed, along with the secure channel of a high ranking officials office, and that is just to access its location.  To read it you need a security access level of 10 along with your own blood sample to verify identity with voice recognition.  Now do you see why I have not been able to prove that I am the wife of Vorak?"

*She waits a moment for this information to sink in.*

"Do you have the means with which to access this classified record?"

*KHa'Var thinks while waiting for Commodore Hedford to respond.  'I will want to clear up what happened with jumping off a mountain, and I will find out more about this assistant Paris.  For her sake I hope she has kept her distance from Vorak.'*

"Well Mrs KHa'Var it seems that we need to proceed to the Medical Department for this "Identity Check". Would you follow me then?"

*Hedford heads to the turbolift and as the doors slide open he turns to Mrs KHa'Var*

"This way Ma'am"

Gordon arrived on the ops deck shortly after the others

"Ah, i was just about to inform you of the young Klingons actions but he seems to have beat me to it. I wouldn't suggest the Flag Admirals Quarters. Purphaps guest quarters. Or remaining under supervision"

*Vorak raises an eyebrow as his entirely calm expression remains gazing at Kha'Var who is raging in anger. Then he simply turns to Hedford.*
"Mr. Hedford, please handle the incoming docking request according to standard procedures."
*Then he turns back to Kha'Var.*
"Ms. Kha'Var, your... visit... is quite unexpected. If you had announced your coming in time, I would have my personal assistant schedule time for you to meet me. Your illogical failure to do so, is what caused you to be forced to wait upon my return here. Also, it is illogical that-"
*Then he suddenly frowns.*
"I have no son, Ms. Kha'Var, or I would certainly have..."
*He suddenly remembers the young boy that just left ops a moment ago... half Klingon, half Vulcan... Vorak instantly turns to Hedford again.*
"Mr. Hedford, please cancel my meeting with the Etherian ambassador at 0200 hours. Thank you."
*Then he faces Kha'Var again with a stern look on his face.*
"My office, Ms. Kha'Var. Now."
*Without waiting for her reaction, he turns around and strides toward his office doors.*

"Thank you for the offer, admiral Parker, but at this moment, his task is to observe me, by way of learning the ways of logic in a more... 'pleasant' way then by meditation excercises."
*Then he turns to Vorlok.*
"Vorlok, you will not fire a phaser again, or you may accidentally hurt someone. It is illogical to use phaser fire if not in a threatening situation."

*in a perfect imitation of vorak* Compter recognize authority.

Computer: You are Vorak, Rank Flag Admiral. Security Clearence absolute..

"I have no idea where the Flag Admiral is, the last thing I know is that he was on his way back from Shadowfleet. But that dates from 4 days ago. Now you really think she is his WIFE?"

Hedford coughs and looks at Embries

OFF: Vorak is suposed to be docking at dockingport 6, as we speak.  However, I do not know if he will be delayed, or if he has already docked before the news of an escaped prisoner reached ops.  I have asked Hedford in one of my posts if the prisoner's escape would interfere with Vorak's arrival.  We will not know about it until he (Hedford) responds.

Parker turns to see the source of the blast which had come quite close to her. She levels a gaze with the small boy grasping a phaser pistol in his hand. She slowly ambles to the center of the room and peers down at him, a similar countenance to the one she had in the infirmary. Her hues flicker up to the stare of Vorak.

"You're a commendable man, Admiral, and it pains me to confront you so. Control your child, he is becoming disruptive and dangerous. Or perhaps you'll allow me the task, if you deem yourself unable? You'll find I can be quite...effective with children."

Post by: Enoch on October 15, 2004, 08:16:33 PM
OFF: Ok, Vorlok, Enoch has returned to his store now. You can go there too (Camelot Medieval Store). Here's the plan: Enoch will be making a study of a special crystal artefact. Vorlok walks into the store, asks some questions out of curiosity. Enoch will respond while continue to work, but when he turns his back on Vorlok, Vorlok will be curious about the crystal and pick it up. When Enoch turns around and sees it, he tells Vorlok to put it back. Vorlok accidentally drops the crystal, but... the crystal will NOT break, there won't even be a scratch on it... that's all for now :)
