Yes indeed it would. You know, I find the species, as you might say, fascinating. I probably know almost all the relevant facts about the species as we have. And, with your approval I would try to make "second" contact with them.

Greetings, Mr. Montrell. Mr. Hedford just informed me the JAG department is ready, so you may take your belongings in there if you wish.

Captain Ramius, you will certainly receive your mission soon. I wish you good luck.

Indeed it is Admiral Vorak.  Maybe the spirit power you wield http://expansionfleet.sparks.priorweb.be/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'> has better plans that we yet know of

I know a better idea, something that is foolproof. We beam all of the tribbles out in space. Then I garantie you that they wont do something again.

I Concur .. Untillwe have mapped out this area and section of Space .. sending em to another planet may end up being more detromental to our relations in this sector then the tribbles themselves.

I agree to stack em in the Cargo bay.  Also why not let this Ferengi person all the tribbles he wants, after all he is willing to take them and we certainly dont want them.

We live by our own moral code of destruction.

Indeed we did not ask for those Tribbles. Yet, that does not give us legal right to interfere with other cultures or species. They must not pay for our problems. We must solve the problem, not give it to someone else. That would be neglecting responsibility.

But I do believe that negotiationg with the Ferengi trader is a good alternative.

Fleet Admiral Vorak leaves his office and enters the station Ops. People are still arriving, the sound of the transporter beam echoes everywhere. Transport ships appear out of the nebula and take orbit around the station, beam over the assigned officers and return to the nebula.

The two ships that Starfleet assigned for this project are already docked, inside the station: the USS Skytoucher and USS Evolution.

Admiral Vorak watched the viewscreen and the stars on it. This was certainly unknown space, nothing known about it yet. No idea of what they will find there: allies? enemies? scientific new discoveries? or nothing?

"Mr. Julian, Mr. Strider and Mr. Hedford, report to your stations in Ops please. You must assist me in coordinating the transport of all our new officers to their correct posts, or departments."

Greetings, Captain Ramius. It has indeed been 5 years, 4 months and 22 days since we have last spoken. Your good service has made me request Starfleet to transfer you to my fleet. Do you wish to be beamed over to your ship now?

Welcome, Mr. Hedford and Mr. Strider. You may take your stations, many people must be transported now.
Also make sure that the chiefs of the departments on this station (tactical, science, engineering, ...) report in and make their department ready for use.

It would certainly be interesting to make first contact with them. But for as far as we know, there is no Hirogen presence in this sector. Which does not mean, of course, that it is impossible we find their presence some day sooner or later.

Yes. There is no impossibility. Well, I´d beter go to my ship. I assume you aill inform me of the ships mission later?

Yes Sir, will do.

*hondreds of tribbles were transported out of Admiral Voraks room*

They are now in the main cargobay. Should we put all of them in that bay Admirals, it's the biggest one.

Mr. Mannion, we just arrived in this area of space. This area is not mapped yet, and therefore we do not know how close, or far, the nearest inhabitable planet is.
