Starfleet Breach of Delta Regulations

"Then the solution is simple, their ship may not be allowed to enter our space again. If they do wish so, they'll have to come back with another ship that carries no weapons whatsoever. We cannot be certain that they will not use their weapons against us, if they wish it. They have already broken one of our major regulations by exceeding warp speed limits and damaging subspace. What happened to our strict regulations, where such things were never allowed? Exceeding speed limits, carrying weapons, entering our space without proper passport... We enforce these regulations upon our own citizens, but complete strangers who have caused havoc before, are free to ignore those regulations? If we don't deal with this situation soon, there will be protests against it by the citizens of our different worlds, and if they all start doing the same things Starfleet has been doing, we are dealing with a larger problem than we can handle!"

*Pax grumbles.*

*Pax enters the Council and takes his usual place at the Round Table.*
"I heard there are important matters to be discussed. Surely we can handle everything in a peaceful way, without any sign of violence?"

The hologram of Tash stands and walks about the room a little.

"Pax, we realize that the Yzakian people have not had the best of luck when it comes to weapons. There is no shame in your points. Diplomacy must always come first. However, there are times when you will encounter species that are not as enlightened, and are quick to shoot first, and talk later," Tash says, shooting a look to Mentora. "And those are the times when you must meet aggression with aggression." Tash notices that everyone is watching him intently. "But this is not one of those times. Starfleet has done nothing to directly harm us, and I do not believe they are simply disregarding our laws. I have not been on the Evolution long, but I assure you I will talk to Captain Sanchez and discuss this with him as soon as poss--"

There is an explosion heard over the holo-link. Tash looks about with confusion. "It appears we are under attack. I am not sure how much longer I will be able to keep the channel open, but I will try my best."

You don't understand there ships can not simply have there weapons removed and reinstalled constantly as they enter or leave our space.  I know I understand the necessity for them to have weapons for defensive purposes and as long as they are not using them against us the DA then why should we really be concerned?

Oh, I do think we can work something out with StarFleet.  As it is we do have one of their officers Visiting the Temple.  Oh I have received nothing but good reports on this Vurak Spock.  Oh they say he just sits in the temple meditating all day long.  Oh, the Temple visitors have even been giving him food which he gracefully accepts.

*Pauses a moment to think.*

*Avelox wiggles his smallest finger at the Talonian.*

*Deep in his nasty brains Wabvleef already calculate what his gain will be. A sinister smile appears on his face*

[Tash]

Tash is possessed with rage at both Mentora and Wabvleef by this point.

"NO! I WILL NOT ALLOW IT!"

He takes a moment to calm himself, with some minor success.

"Madam Queen, as of this moment, the Traquel Directorate hearby withdraws from the Delta Alliance!"

Tash looks to those who seem to be against Mentora and Wabvleef.

"...And I hope some would have the common sense to follow suit!"

Tash's holo-image fades away, and Sub-Representative Quello takes his emitter and leaves the chamber.
