Oliver was born in Galveston, Texas where his father was stationed with a
Starfleet Marine unit. When Oliver was older, his father sent him to the
Starfleet Academy. After being there for four years, he joined his marines to be
Just like his father. He has been stationed on other ships before his arrival to
The Starbase Sixty. He served on the USS Blackfire, USS Presidio, UMA Falcon, and
The USS Phoenix. All four of these vessels were part of Starfleet Intelligence,
There are other but he can\'t tell us.

Personality:
\"As much of a hillbilly he may seem to be, Oliver Davis is not as simple as he
Appears. In fact, he may be anything but. While he looks and acts rather
Plainly, it is that plainness that hides not only a cloudy past but also a cloudy
Mind. He seems uninterested about his past, but I think it might be more than
Just a lack of interest (which is probably a lie anyway), but instead maybe...
Fear? Something happening that he does not want to remember? It probably isn\'t
At all bad, or illegal for that matter. I believe it is just a difficult memory,
Even something that scared him or shocked him. Time will best till that tale,
Better than what I can see from this evaluation.

\"Oliver is not the sharpest knife in the drawer, and he knows that very well.
His compensation for it is in his work ethic. He will grind and trudge his way
Along up the hill. He is not a gazzett, but he has grit. While the stars all
Race ahead, stop to catch their breath, and then race ahead again, Oliver just keeps
Chugging along, never stopping. This same sense of driven, simple minded and old
Fashioned work also leads to his dependability and reliability.

\"I\'m fairly certain that while he is most definitely not         , he has a
Sense of honesty to him. He lies as little as possible, he probably treats a
\"Lady\" like a woman and not as a \"chick\" or \"babe\" or whatever those
Youngsters call them now.

\"He has a strong, but still fuzzy and misguided set of morals. He isn\'t
Entirely sure what he stands for, or where he stands on those issues. Mostly, he
doesn\'t even know how TO stand for them, but he goes with the flow, and his
instincts may be crude, but they are in the right direction.

\"On the same token, however, he is not afraid to make those snap decisions that
a leader must make. Decisive, logical, and indeed intelligent decisions. I am
certain that he doesn\'t think about how to be a good leader, he just goes out
and does it. If brought up, he\'s likly to brush it off casually, and just keep
moving along. And sometimes, that simple old-fashioness even gives him a
different and occassionaly brilliant insights on things others might not see.
Sometimes, many flag officers make things too complicated. I\'ve got a feeling
Oliver simplifies them.

\"The bottom line many people ask, \"Is he a good officer?\". Yes. Will he ever
be a four star general? I doubt it. But he\'s a lifer, ladies and gentlemen (or
is it more appropriate to say jarheads and leathernecks?), and a pretty decent
one at that.\" (Psych. Eval. by Dr. Tim Glaze, Pd. D. on 240104.3)

Intrests:
While he seems to live and breath the Corps, it is not his only intrest. True,
the driving force of his life is still the Corps (and one wonders what he\'ll do
when he retires or gets to old to play soldier boy anymore), but he quietly,
secretly, devotes some time to other things. Remaining outwardly simple, even a
bit of a dimwit, he privatly enjoys many classical art forms. Things such as
music,     ure, history, and literature. Even the theater (Broadway and
Shakesperian), and poetry are right in there. Granted, he doesn\'t understand
much of it, but he enjoys it nevertheless. He very much prefers to keep this
quiet, and has even very little outward showing of this, and very much prefers
it that no one knows

Dislikes:
He dislikes faliure, to a point where it stings. He doesn\'t mind if he comes in
last as much as he does failing. He often     s his slower, limited mental
potential, especialy when it causes extra problems for his Marines. He prefers
his BDU\'s over any other set of uniform, and tries as much as possible to stay
in them. The standard issue \"Fleetie style\" uniform is often not worn thanks
to it being \"too stiff\". While he wears it if ordered directly, he tends to
try and find ways around standing orders which require it. Laziness and
incompetence are also pet peeves, but most of his pet peeves he can keep under
wraps
