"We have little to go on. But i had a few ideas for a general start. A few different options to present to senior admirality. One is a ship with 3 Nacelles, mainly to support to size of the structure and to maintain fast speed. It would need to be slick not bulky to keep a natural design of a ship. And the most disdinquishing thing to be double decked saucer sections. With connections going vertically evenly placed for turbolifts and connection. Generally keeping to a base of a Galaxy Class design as far as saucers. The saucer of a Galaxy is most fitting to be "stacked" that is only one idea though. The goal of the Intercepter Conference is to make the design their with great minds from all around. I need to work with that also. Purphaps we can travel together to SS Avalon."

The focus is to have this ship be one that can go on maiden voyages longer than the Excalibur, and the Excalibur can go a long while. It would need enough weapons, enough power. I know multiple warp cores are a must, and a way for it to split into sections when the need came. What makes the ultimate starship? A ship not only for research, exploration, war...one for all purposes. It needs to be realistic, not a fantasy, but in all senses, it would be fantasy to attempt such a ship"

"It was always planned to be at DS20, i would like to hear others opinions to get some ideas. I've never let you down when it comes to creativity and building ships. I know the formula to a great ship. I'll work on some drafts by hand. An old earth method but a working one. I need to know who the top engineers are from other divisions. It will be a mobile starbase, it will be able to last for years on maiden voyages for sure. But i want everything to be new. This is the future of ship making. The Excalibur will be obsolete to the Interceptor. It will define how ships will be made. What is on them. Set the standard for what will make the fleet. I am trying to get General Reed to release some of their expirimental technology for me to work with. Advanced Cloaking devices are something i need to cloak somthing of this size. And i want it to cloak. Flawless sensors, powerful weapons. It is a dream ship. I will save what i have told you to present to High Command. The Excalibur never made the title of Expansion Fleet Flagship, i don't know what rust bucket did, but i will see this ship is more than worthy, a goal, before i retire. Admiral Madison has assured me he will work with me to convince the other High Command officers it is worth the title. Indeed it would be an honor to Novas work."
