"Hmmmmm, if you mean co-existing as one entity for the greater good of all, then we understand this.  Allow us to live peacefully till war comes, we understand this too.  We wish to find the other vaults that spreads across this world.  This will be acceptable if you allow us to live in harmony together.  But keep in mind that many of my people may not allow there children to wander freely until they know you can trusted with our youngin's sense they are our future.  I just ask that you allow us to live beneath the planet and allow us to live in harmony till we can gather our strength up to serve this treaty more.  We can offer fresh produce, place to house your important people should the time come.  As well as my ability with robotics.  For now, thats all we can offer.  But I think a treaty would be best for my people.  Some of the elders expressed concerns that you would enslave us.  But assured them that you wouldnt.  You didnt harm the defenseless in the stasis tubes."

"Speaking of which, can we bring those in the tubes back to life? or do you wish them to still remain, sense you know we wont harm you."

Cook nodded his head. "I would think we would have to call in some archeologists.. I am a scientist, not an archeologist. However, interesting indeed.. but centeries? That is one long lifespan... but what would you do? wouldn't you have the speed and storage capabilities of a machine then? Able to recall at a moments notice any piece of information that you want?" Cook was asking these questions knowing htat others would ask them... and well, he felt that he could somewhat trust ALF, now he wouldn't invite him to meet Captain Smith, but still... he was interested about the job.

[Kassie]

*Walking over to Julian away from the others*

"Yes sir?"

Cook stared at all the bodies... "Strange... why would they wear their armor? did they expect an attack so soon? Or is this part of your tradition, by wearing your uniform durring your duty?" Cook was surprised at all the death... he could only imagine what it must have felt like to loss so many close to ALF.

Cook only walked forward and placed a hand on his shoulder. "I do not know what to say," Cook's voice had a soft edge to it, he was trying to show some comprehension. "But they died, so that those in the statis pods would live... tell me, is their a better cause then dieing knowing that your race would live on because of your deeds?" Cook didn't know if he sounded rude or kind... but he was trying to help in the best of his ability.

[Janeway]

*gets off the Pelican and walks over to Kassie*

"Commodore Higgins.  Im Balkazar what do you need, Sir?"

*The group of people entered the enormous building*

"Well, I would say that we locate Main Ops as deep in the center of the building as possible, because that's one of the most critical parts of the base. Because of the power distribution, I think it's wise to also put engineering on a central location, and, if possible, underground. Since we will probably be extracting energy from the planet's core, that's the most logical choice. Now, the other more or less critical departments like medical, science, tac/sec can be located around Ops, and, together with living quarters, et cetera on the other levels of the base. How do you guys feel about that?"

[Kassie]

"Interesting, its good to see ALF found his species but how could they have lived down here for so long without replicators or the like ?.  How many Domes did you see ? its possible that they could have a garden of some sorts to provide them with food and such.  Hmmmm, remarkable."

<Turning to face Julian>

"What do you think, Admiral?"

[Balkazar]

"Your on a marine base not on a starfleet station.  Your under my authority, admiral.  When im on your station you can order me around, but when your on my base I boss you around.  I mean no disrespect but that the way of things." Said Balkazar in a more respectful tone.

"Lt. We have anything else from those computer?"

"Yes sir.  Dantor's history is still clouded in much darkness.  This place seems to be some sort of Stasis area and these controls are attached to those systems in some way.  I read over 5,000 stasis pods and about half of them are active still.  There bio-signs seem to be fading some of them seems to have also been shorted out.  We may have found some of the remains of one of the previous civilizations who have settled here.  Or thats what I think sir.  From this structure this place may require a huge power source of some kind.  We may find it on the otherside of that door.  Its unknown at the moment." The lt. replied.

"Hmmmmm, what do you think, Admiral?"

"As a matter of fact, I do enjoy crawling underneath a moist stone...every now and again. This cultural exchange is stimulating, but if there is work to be done. I am here to do...something, if I recall correctly".

[Balkazar]

*After 10 minutes the Lt returned followed by 2 others in starfleet uniforms*

"Sir, here they are." The Lt. said.

"Thank you, Mr Cook.  I thought you would like to participate if you dont mind ?, seems during the surveying of this place for a Starfleet base.  Ensign Kassie and ensign Braxton there came across an entire area full of almost 5,000 stasis pods and one of them was opened and a fur ball creature came out.  Which is why you were summoned.  Now mind you while your taking part in this interesting discovery, youll be taking orders from myself and Ensign Kassie.  This is her graduation project so to disregard rank shes in charge here.  And Im here to enforce that.  This was set down by Admiral Julian and Fleet captain Archer.  I think thats sufficent rank for you to follow.  Do you have a problem following the orders of an Ensign ?" Balkazar said.

"What is it, Ressik?" Balkazar said as he walked over to Ressik.

"Captain Brodie, Tell me what is going on.  Ill inform the Marine CO if there is a need.  So far you havent said anything to convince me there is a 'need' to involve him.  Like everyone on this base we are very busy and im pretty sure he doesnt wish to be disturbed because one captain is making demands to see him.  Why dont you take a breath and explain to me the problem?" Brian said with a stern look.
