Sisko: Lt status report. Sir the Enterprize has unloaded all of her cargo, and will be leaving in one hour. The Southerland will be departing today at 12:00 hours. The Hood experienced a break down in thier inpulse engines and will be underway in another 12 hours. We now have a complete engineering staff minus our chief engineer. we have 70& of our medical staff and only 35& of our command staff. All science staff are present and accounted for. We have had 21,000 Suvillians bored the station in the last two weeks, and the promenade officially opens for business today, now that all of the engineering kinks have been worked out. Aslo, the computer interface probelms have been resolved, and they cut your maintenance list in half since yesterday. All is well sir and coming together.
Sisko: Very well, I will taking the Windsor out on a shakedown cruise. Lt., your in command.

Sisko: ensign, alert 100 of the personnel working on the Essex to go to the Windsor to help with repair efforts. The ship must be done in three days. All available personnell are to report to bay 5. There is to be no halt to the work until the ship is done. All engineering shifts are going to double shifts immedialtey.
Ensign: Aye aye sir.
*Six hours later Sisko arives on the Lexington, which was also beinging more peronell. Sisko, appeared in ops after the blue flash of light was gone.*
Sisko:status report from ops.
Ops:Sir side from senior officers, the station now has its full compliment of staff dn personell. There are 20,000 suvillians and merchants aboard, and there are four starships docked right now. The main shield generators are offline right now due to a overload of the shield grid, and the new torpedo turrets are being added. The weapons systems are undergoing a massive maintenace sweep. They apparently havent been done since the station was first commisioned 15 years ago when she was being built. The Harbour Grace is home, and the engineering crews are just making a few final adjustments to her and getting her ready for her maiden voyage.
Sisko:Very well, I want a full report on the shield problem in my office in one hour, I am going down to engineering to see what else has gone wrong.
*All of a suffen there was a huge explosion on the promenade, and there were flames and smoke everywhere. The red alert claxons were going off, lights werer flickering on and off.*
Sisko:Ensign, What happened?
Ensign:Apower conduit ruptured and caused an odn relay to explode. The fire supression systems are offline, as well as the environemental controls to save oxygen.
Sisko:Very well, tell all ships to just start targeteing life scans and beaming them off.
Lt:Sir, the Louis Pastuer has just docked at gangway 5 to start taking on passengers.
Sisko:Very well, how many runnabouts and shuttles do we still have?
Lt:we have 100 left total. Very well get Starfleet staff on there and have them start targeting people with transporter targeting systems and beaming them off. Then evacuate the shuttles and run-a-bouts.
*Another explosion in the control tower for the dock went off and threw Sisko and the Lt. into the console in front of them. The Lt. is dead, and Sisko has three lacerations across his face a broken arm, and four broken ribs.*
*As Sisko and the cmdr. emerged from the jeffrey's tube, they saw what was left of engineering. The reacotrs were gone, the power grid and power transfer conduits were severed and burned, and the main computer interface to control the reactors was destroyed.*
Sisko:Cmdr look at this, this had to be a very large device to have caused this much damage. There were six reactors to power this station, and there gone. Not to mention the whole interface is destroyed. Its going to take engineering months to rebuild this section. Lets keep scanning.

A small ship unknown ship to the crew, de cloakes outside of Starbase 12 and moves away. Soon 20 more ships, some unknown and some Kilgon gather and go to Light Speed.
1.34 light years away.
The small fleet drops to normal space.
"S Vek to Fleet. I am sending the code now. Standby to enter wormhole when it opens."
At that, a coded signal is sent to a certain area of space. As the signal hits, a small wormhole opens up where there shoiuld be no wormholes and starts to radiate the area at 50 lights years in a circle from it with jamming signals, screwing up sensors and communications.
The fleet then enters the wormhole with S Vek's ship being the last to enter as the wormhole closes behind him.
*Sisko walked into ops, with a cup of coffe that had been made from the ration packs, it tasted awful. He walked over to engineering and saw that reactor one and two were running at 85%, and that number three was offline, and number four was running 43%. He decided to run down to number four and see what the problem was.*
Ops, run a level one diagnostic on reactor number four, and let me know the results. I will be on the Windsor doing an inspection of the ship.

With out anyway to tap the plasma energy, there will be no way to transfer it to the stations reserve batteries. I have ordered the Grace to do a non-propulsive warp 6 for twelve hours then rest for twelve. Right now, thats keeping the reserves at 90%. As soon as the taps and injectors go in on the Windsor, they will do a non-propulsive warp reserve charge as well, I would like to refill the secondary power reserve batteries. *

=A=This the Grace, we are now at full impulse patrolling the Romulan border. Acoording to our long range sensors, we have picked up 800 Romulan and Alien vessels with in striking distance of Avalon, Khazara station, the starphoenix base, and four other uopost, along with 6 colonies in Federation territory. We are tracking the phase variance the warp engines from the Romulan and Alien ships while theya re cloaked. They are crosiing inot the nebula, and into Federation space. We are trying to determine if they are attacking, or just building up forces. Also, we have followed this phase variance with our sensors and it leaves a warp trail to what looks like area near the borg. We need three to four ships to patrol the Romulan border, and continue to monitor there movements and actions. Then the grace will be free to investigate the warp trail to the edge of Borg space. The situation i serious. The Federation Council should be informed and a diplomatic solution should be reached before we have a war on our hands, in my opinion. The Romulan and alien forces are grwoing with strenght every day. We still dont have an accurate count, and the gravitic sensor nets are non-operational at this time. The damage reprt for the Windsor:
Total power grid failure. The whole grid thru the ship will be replaced. There will be a mixture of silicon and bio-nueral gel packs. Repairs to the internal hull will take some time, but there are some massive wholes in the ship. The internal sensor system overloaded and fused, we will replace most of the sensors, and then re-aling the system. We have to repair the ecternal hull breaches as well. The shield grid and shield emmitters are fused and burned out. They will be completley replaced with a state of the art system just introduced, and the ship will control the changing shield harmonics. The second warp core willbe replaced,a s well as the first one. There is major damage to both cores. The plasma conduits will be replaced, and the warp coils will be re-aligned and re-calibrated. The deuterium tank for the impulse enignes in the saucer willbe replaced. Six of the eighteen pahser arrays will haft to be replaced. Thats all I think. Oh yes, and the transporters will be getting maintenanced as well. The shakedown report said that there were some issues with the pattern buffers. Due to shortage of engineering staff It will be four weeks min. There is mor damage here than initial reports had said. On Monday we will have about six hundred engineering staff reporting for duty. WIth that extra help, I can make the turn a round time three weeks. I have divertyed all available staff to begin repairs. I think there are like 350 working total on all shfits right now, until monday. I am going to pull about 200 more people off the Essex over the weekend and get them on the Windsor. I will have her out in three weeks, no matter what it takes.
PS, there are three ships docking in the next few days with more supplies, personnell, and equipment for the station.

Coming into the control room with the Chief Engineer we were discussing the replacement of the weapons upgrades. I took a quick look around and turn. Back to the Commander in gold befroe stating that when the Weapons were finished this area could use a bit of a clean up.

Okay gentlemen. I am Commander Sitgor I ask for a level 1 diagnostic on all systems to check that they are working at full effiecency. Begin now gentlemen.

Admiral, I have re-routed main power to essential systems only, we are beginning to power down un-occupied decks, and there well only be replicators running in the docking bays where we ships under refit, and in four main food staging areas, or cafeterias and they will only run at certain times of the day to handle Starfleet personnel. Also, all holographic generators are offline for the next 58 hours until the damage from the reactor going can be repaired. The main holographic imaging system was fused. With the major refit of the Windsor, we can not handle any more ships docking to be repaired. We are beginning now to generate warp power from the Grace, and the Cheyenne's warp engines to charge our reserve power banks. We have also added a fifth reserve bank and are charging that now. WE are going to continue the upgrades on the weapons, since we have none at the moment to defend the station, we had begun ripping out the old systems and upgrading to turrets similar to those of DS9. Never the less, all dept heads will be submitting energy conservation reports every eight hours, and we have none to spare. Under my direct orders any one caught wasting power, or replicating where they shouldnt be will be put in the brig for six months. I hope we can get through this. Also, as soon as the Windsor is done with her refit, I have drawn up schematics to begin a refit of this dilapidated station. I think this thing was built by monkeys, or it was built during the haste to build ships and bases during the Domion war, and they did a poor job. Anyway, we will begin very soon redoing this thing. I am headed back to engineering to continue to work on replacing the main power conduits in the reactor control room.q

*Sisko walked over to the docking re-fit ops panel and started directing engineering teams four, five, six, thriteen, and fourteen to get to work on her immeditaley. Sisko was looking at the report of her status. She was 65% refit, and the major work had been completed at the planitia utopia ship yards. Now it was just the tweeking and fine tunning left.*
Engineering, the Windsor refit will be going to three shifts, therefore on the fourth shift we can cut the power there and transfer it to the Essex in bay 2.

Sir I did some modifilying to increst Warp speed for to increw the time frim 12 to 30 hours.and once to the Computer systems are installed In two weeks for will be fully operational.

Engineering:Sir the primary generator for the station is overloading, the temperature is at red line and rising. Also, the interface for the computer is offline. We have had to switch to manual control of the station down here in engineering.
Sisko:I need optiions to fix the problem.
Engineering:We have to shut down the main reacotr to the staion and will only be able to function with auxilary and emergency power. The interface I dont know how long it will take to fix, or even what the problem is.
Sisko:Very well, go to emergency and auxillary power. you have twelve hours to fix the reactor problems. I will be down there if I can find a turbo shaft working. Ensign, get me Admiral Ransom on the emergency Starfleet channel.
Sisko:Ensign, begin filling as many escape pods as possible and launching them the sorrounding ships can pick them up. Get security to start taking people back down to engineering as fast as possible and start transporting them. If you have to start site to site transporting them to engineering thru the emergency transporter system. How many more starships are there that dont have thier evac limit. Find out, and then order them back into the space dock and we can continue evacuating like that. When the core goes on this thing all the people have to be gone. Tell the hospital ship to dock with docking port 5 on the starboard side, and we will extend the life support gan way and begin evacuating like that.

I will see to it that the hull is put on the grace,and nothing else, were almost thru now laying the keel for the ship. Its taking a little bit more time to re-inforce the keel for the ablatative armor, and some oher things were done wrong. The keel work will be done in three days. At that point we will begin placing the hull and ablatative armoring on the ship. I am sorry I was just trying to get all the ships together and get them thru thier shakedown crusies and get the kinks worked out. I didnt mean to over step my authority. Just let me know when you want the main systems of the Grace put in. The Essex had a massive systems failure due to the overload of the automation centers. The computer took control of the ship and began overloading systems and locking the crew out of the systems. Therefore to get the ship home, they had to re-route and by-pass the computer and the automation centers to get control of the ship. The warp core just blew. The dillithium matrix is fried, and the plasma conduits are burned out from using warp drive when it shouldnt have been. The whole computer interface is fried on the bridge due to the computer. The odn relays on every deck are destroyed so were replacing them. Finally all of the silicon processing chips are being replaced with the new bio-neural gel packs. Yes, also because of all the problems with the automation, the main computer core shorted out. The core will be replaced . Although this time were designing in more fail safe features, and a program to by-pass automation if ever needed. I will have the ship back to full duty in four weeks at tops, maybe three. I have crews working doubles and round the clock to get it done. It is also my recommendation that we not send her out again on almost full automation until we make sure all automation software is functioning properly, and will not cause such a catastrophe again.

Admiral it wil take about eight weeks before this station has all of it's reactor problems fixed, and the new weapons systems will be installed and ready to test in three weeks. Number 1, the Grace is fixing to run her warp engines at warp nine no proulsive to create some more energy for the reserves. Also, all ships wanting to use this SB for refueling their deuterium supplies, they will have to go else where. We cant afford to waste the energy to refuel. Also, their were scientists coming on the USS Renualt to use the station's scientific sensor arrays, I have called and cancelled. We cant afford to run anything but just he bare minimum sensors.

Admiral, its going ot be six weeks until the Windsor is space worthy again. She needs major work, shes been taken to hell and back again. Shes in bad shape, and I am not going to let her go back out with out some major work. I know its an inconvenience but shes a death trap at this point. Also, have you made a decision on what the new ship is to be built, I would like to get started on her right away. I know we dont have the staff and officers for a new one yet, but by the time we got through building her we could have some new crew. Anyway, i can see if we can borrow a ship from Planitia until the Windsor is done. The USS Cheyenne is on her way and will be here in 46 hours with parts, she is being commanded by jr officer and a cadet crew. She can spend six weeks or so here until we get the Windsor back up and running. Admiral, Is the shadow going to be refit? If so, its a good thing i have a total of six extra teams coming from Planitia. That way i can get the Windsor out and the Shadow. Also, can you hint at to what class the new Windsor will be? I got a message from Admiral Wilkenson, head of Starfleet Engineering. He said we will have our complete engineering staff of 20, 265 in the next two weeks. When that happens we will be able to refit three ships and build three ships at the same time. It will give us about a four to six week time on refits, and three to six month build time on brand new starships. I am headed down to the Windsor to check on her progress.

Whats the name of the class of the starship? and there are 1,423 phaser arrays? If you could clarify those things, it would help greatly. The Enterprize will be here only for a few short hours, the Hood, and the Southerland. They all making the drop offs of cargo theyare carrying and then moving on to other missions. Theya re sending these ships because they were closest to Earth, and they were able to get out supplies here quicker than any other ships.
