The Expansion Fleet storyline has always had a chronological plot from the beginning. The story is set "after the return of Voyager to the Alpha Quadrant", which takes place at the end of 2377. Therefore, our storyline begun in the year 2378, and has progressed from there since - thus making the real year 2005 into the in-game year of 2381, for example. The storyline began on april 23, 2002, which is a date considerably later than the actual foundation of Expansion Fleet. The reason behind this, is that the storyline has been reset once from the start, due to problems among several members at that time. But we learned from our mistakes ever since, and have managed to keep the storyline going for years since april 2002. On this considerable date, the storyline began with the first Starfleet officers, including Flag Admiral Vorak, Admirals Nocturnus and Montrell, Captain Sanchez (back then still a commander of rank), and for those who were already around in those early days, the following names will sound as nostalgia in their ears: Vice-Admiral Julian, Senior Admiral Zach T. Schmidt, Rear Admiral Geordi, Director Zack Mannion of the F.S.S. and Commander Tomas Göransson. The first missions were focused on Avalon Station, the U.S.S. Skytoucher and the U.S.S. Evolution only, but Expansion Fleet has grown ever since, to what it has become today.
