Negotiations between Starfleet and the Delta Alliance

[Vorak]

*Vorak is slowly becoming himself again, and looks at Karelia.*
"Admiral, are your intentions to accompany the ships to these Temples of Sordinan?"

*holds up a small device*

a holographic picture of a null space catapult grows steadily large on the table,

"Indeed. Comm One, Ragolis, Dhante, prepare to return to the ship."
*He gets up, as does the rest, and looks at Sanchez once more.*
"Just follow my ship, we'll lead the way. And oh, here's the rest of the bottle, should you want it another time."
*He smiles, and then leaves the embassy.*

[Ardwyad]

"Good! Well, since we actually got two bottles of Razanis, we'll be in for quite a drink. I shall be the Master of the Ceremony, for this occasion."
*He takes a bit of salt from the box, and puts it in the hand of Comm One, who sits at his left.
"The salt, for the bitterness of life."
*Then he waits, while Comm One eats the salt. Next, he fills the glass of Comm One with the Razanis*
"The Razanis, to rejoice the soul."
*Then he gives the glass to Comm One, so he can drink it.*
"I am the past and the future. And the future commands. Be my friend for the present."
*Comm One inclines his head thankfully, and drinks the glass empty at once.*

[Vorak]

"Mr. Dalon and Mr. Reeves may assist captain Sanchez upon attending the religious ceremony, if it does not oppose your wishes, Mr. Ardwyad. Mr. Dalon is correct, one of the goals of our Federation is to respect all different cultures, beliefs and regulations and place them all on equal level without condemning even one of them. This is what we hope to achieve with your Delta Alliance as well."

[Randall Sanchez]

*Leans back in his chair, straightens his uniform and whispers to Nick Brooks and Daniel Reeves.*
"And here I thought we could have these negotiations with just the few of us. Now the entire Delta Quadrant is showing up. Before we know it, we'll be negotiating with the Borg too."

[Dalon]

*opens his hand doing the traditional vulcan hand sign*

*sits down*

Thank you Admiral. It is an honor to finally meet you in person. You are very well spoken of in Vulcan lately because of your efforts on this quadrant.

*straightens his uniform and turns to Captain Sanchez*

I expect to be of some help in these negotiations. Perhaps in discussing technical and scientific matters.

I must say that I find their concept of a sungularity network as the home of their gods fascinating. It somewhat resembles the Bajoran mythology.

Perhaps a Bajoran representative would be helpful in future negotiations, sir.

"Commander Brooks, Mr. Ragolis, admirals... why are we all on this tropical beach???"

"There must be an error. You have signed this in name of the High Queen, but you stated before you are a representative of the High Queen. Or is it customary to sign in the name of your superior, for the Delta Alliance?"

[Randall Sanchez]

*Sanchez studies the holographic image of the catapult, displayed in the middle of the embassy's large table.*
"Hmm... this looks slightly familiar... Didn't the U.S.S. Voyager encounter someone in the Delta Quadrant, a few years ago, who had made something similar to this?"

[Nick Brooks]

*Brooks looks at the captain with a smile.*
"Speak for yourself, captain! A bathing suit isn't exactly a standard Starfleet uniform either!"

[Vorak]

"I am on my way. Vorak out."
