News Announcements / Expansion Fleet Regulations update

The following new regulations should clearly be noted.

#1 - The position of High Command
Officers of High Command should be addressed if a problem cannot be solved internally, or with your CO. In any case, the decision of a High Command officer overrules that of any other officer, regardless of rank. High Command decisions are final.

The following officers belong to High Command at this time:
- Admiral Vorak
- Admiral Montrell
- Admiral Will Karelia
- Admiral Tom Hobson
- Admiral James Madison

#2 - Regulations for transferring officers between ships, stations or divisions
A transfer of an officer from any ship, station or division to any other ship, station or division, should be discussed with, and approved by, the following people:
1. The officer being transferred
2. The Division CO of the division where the officer comes from
3. The Division CO of the division where the officer goes to

A "Fair Etiquette" applies here, where it is not accepted that officers are preyed upon from other divisions or ships, just to enrich your division or ship. In any situation, a decision of a High Command officer overrules standard regulations and is final.

During the reorganisation of Expansion Fleet, the storylines have mostly been halted in the midst of the Battle of Avalon. Now that the reorganisation is complete, the story continues, and with a most unusual turn of events...

The battle becomes more fierce than ever... The Heraan and Na'jigat continue to attack from every corner and the Gallifreyans are no longer strong enough to fight them all... Sentinels such as Taurik do their best as well, but also see they are losing field... All the Starfleet ships continue to fight on the frontlines, but suffer heavy damage and many losses. Several ships had been exploded, and many more Starfleet officers have been killed in the battle... On the viewscreen at ops on Avalon Station, the admirals watch powerless how the battle is turning more and more into their disadvantage, how their fine officers are sacrificing themselves on the frontlines while there is not even the slightest hope for victory... Defeat is apparent, and utter destruction seems unavoidable. But even if Starfleet surrendered, the Heraan and the Na'jigat would not stop their incursions, but continue to ravage everything until they had sucked up the last of the energy and left behind but a hollow graveyard. Was this how it was all supposed to end? The whole Starfleet project at the borders of the Delta Quadrant, that had thrived there for several years? Then, suddenly, the unexpected happened. Just when the Na'jigat and the Heraan was going to launch their final attack, something makes them hesitate... They become restless... What is happening? Are they planning something? Is something else drawing their attention? Or did something happen that stirred their fear? After some long, silent moments of hesitation, they suddenly withdraw in haste, and hurry away deeper into the Delta Quadrant, as if something was chasing them, or had called for them... What could it be? Obviously, a mysterious. But a mysterious that saved Expansion Fleet at the utter brink of destruction! Within minutes, there was no sign of the Na'jigat or Heraan any more, they were entirely gone... The battle was over, but the victory was hollow...

The storyline's height point is finally about to be reached!

Avalon Station, the beating heart of Expansion Fleet at the borders of the Delta Quadrant, is about to be attacked by the greatest enemy Starfleet ever had to face: the Na'jigat.

Worse than the Borg, Species 8472 or the Dominion, the Na'jigat are not humanoid, but a species existing of pure mental energy. They can take on any shape and it is almost impossible to harm them. Conventional weapons and shields are useless!

The Na'jigat has slowly been growing in strength, and its attacks have become more bold: first they attacked ships, then they destroyed a Loxian outpost in the Dark Passage, then Vontak Nor was nearly destroyed, as well as the Temples of Sordinan at the Delta Alliance. Starphoenix Base and Deep Space 12 were the last to suffer major attacks, and the latter was even entirely destroyed!



Now the time has come for the Na'jigat to turn their attention to the largest Starfleet station in the sector: Avalon Station.
Even more, they will finally reveal their latest surprise and ally: the Heraan! All Starfleet vessels are requested to travel at maximum warp to form a line of defense in front of Avalon Station! The hour of action has come, so jump into the story and become a hero today!

Valhalla Division has moved its forums to our Expansion Fleet server board. Members of Valhalla who had not registered yet on this board, are encouraged to do so and to report for duty. Valhalla Division is now located in the Task Force 1 category of the Mission Board.
