Walks to helm

"So, have you ever piloted a starship out of spacedock?"

With the shields gradually failing under the Vidiian bombardment, Tuvok's logical Vulcan mind and his advanced Starfleet tactical training proved their value when he devised an alternate battle plan.

Tuvok's tactics required split-second timing if they were to be successful.  He ordered engineering to create and then deploy a container of antimatter in the path of the pursuing Vidiian vessels.  Once the container had reached a sufficient distance from Voyager, but was still in proximity to the Vidiian ships, Tuvok ordered Ensign Kim to fire upon it with a photon torpedo.

The resulting explosion generated a far greater explosive yield than a standard torpedo.  At the exact moment the antimatter was detonated, Paris was ordered to bring the ship to full impulse so that it avoided the full brunt of the explosion.

Out of danger

The massive shockwave generated by the antimatter explosion disabled the Vidiian vessels.  Voyager avoided major damage by anticipating the explosion and riding the shockwave, leaving Tuvok and his crew free to jump to warp and leave their ambushers far behind.

Ah. Yes. We are approaching docking bay 4, Captain. I believe the repair crew I sent a message to is also on their way. Your call. Captain. I am ready for a little R&R.
What say you everyone. (As he smiles sheepishly as he also smiles genuinely to Q as well. ) Requesting Permission for myself to seek refreshment from a long and harrowing trip.

*A female reporter shoots forward from the crowd and attempts to ask more questions, but Love pulls her back by her arm.*

"Please, no more questions."

*Love looks back and motions for the two gentlemen to exit the room.*

"Ma'am, please stay back with the rest of the crowd. No sir, you may not, please stay there."

*The admiral and commander slip out as she holds the bustling crowd still shouting questions to him as he leaves.*

"Is damage extensive enough to require repair at DS20?"

*Hands the captain a Padd with a new list*

Commander Belanna's device has proved itself sucessful in about 20 different simulations the only thing that we need to watch out for is avioiding detionation near any inhabitied worlds.  

Also all weapons systems are now up to 100% of effiency.  All systems are a go.

Ah. Weapons status prepped for whatever comes our way. Weapons are all in working order. I am currently still working out any bugs to the weapon's systems.  Any change of status with our current mission. Commander or Captain.  I am awaiting your command....................

(pulls Captain to the side.)
Captain......Ah yes, Captain. I hope you don't mind my off hours that I open up a bit of a food court for giving the crew an homestyle delicacy of their homeworld. So what do ya say. (As he smiles his ferengi smiles. Eerie. lol.)

Now Now Mr. Q it's not quite sporting of ya to do that to the poor guy. But who am I to say he may be a little on the stiff logical side, but that does not mean you should make him leave his crew unattended. Ai.. How about bringing him back in one piece on to this ship. He may not be a bad sort of chap once ya get to know him...What do ya say. It's not for me to say to tell ya what to do, of course. tsk... I am sure you have alot to show us from your travels, but it's not polite to send people to different place without asking them what is needed of them or even if they REALLy want to...Perhaps a purpose you are requesting should be stated upfront to help us understand what you want. Why these tests and why we need to go through them. But it's not for me to question. I definetly can see THAT.

Hrumph. A..hmm..I was wondering if it would be mindful of me to ask a question of Mr. Q. Since you like games and all, Why not have a game in a different environment perhaps maybe the Holosuites away from all the hooplah of all the activity around here. Let all the starfleet officers have their run of their beloved ship perhaps we can all have a friendly game programmed in the Holodecks down below to invigorate our very appetites for challenge. Perhaps a few of us can accomodate him like myself perhaps. (He smiles his ferengi smile.) (Knowing very well. The stares of sternness he would get from all concerned including Belanna who was rudely stopped. Knowing full well of his risk of his own life that may be his last............ )

Gentleman and ladies, I've heard questions and rumours about the possibiliby of the ship being cursed since starfleet took many months to authorse the rebuild of this ship formally called Rivendell B.

It was in fact not due to rumours but more the the fact of "me". I took many months of prgramming and configuration.  I am the first starfleet created symbiotic life form.  an Enhanced version of the former Lt Data of which you all followed closely during his rather long career until deactivation.

I run this ship, I am the ships computer, the ships brain.  NOthing and I mean nothing on this ship escapes my attention.  *points to the reporter at the back* and if u even think about flashing that blasted camera at Admiral Vorak again I'll make sure you dont flash that thing again, Understood?. Great shall we move on then.

*steps back behind Vorak and disappears*.

Starships dont make news, gossip and scandals do.  As for hte captain he's strill in his ready room preparing for hte first launch.  Perhaps he's currently undertaking a vulcan meditation.  Admiral Vorak seems to be in somewhat similar state. Ms Love is as Humans use "out like a light"

Engineering and Weapons are no longer responding to any verbal command.  Recommend manual override in the turbo tubes, Key control centers for engineering and weapons systems are still available for manual input.  

aargh, Lcars is attempting to bypass all current security systems I have put in place in an attempt to take control of the vessel.

Suspected gelpacks cause of effect, not the problem merely the catalyst, I managed to capture the transport signiture of the unauthorised mercenery, routing information to the ready room at your leasuire captain.

"The Admiral and Ms. Love are onboard Captain. Shall i request Departure?"

"Hahaha, StarFleet will finally pay for what they did."

*walks away and disappears around the corner*

He spent a few moments composing himself, lifted his head, and watched in horror as the Akira-Class vessel exploded, with more than half of the total crew aboard. Taurik watched the twisted fragments of debris spin and twirl for several minutes.

"Q. I have made my decision. Return me to the Rivendell, and release this burden from me immediately."

Commander Belanna If we build over 5 of these devices they will use a little under 1/3 of our antimatter supply in the main tank.  
Recommend converting cargobay 5 to an antimatter storage container.  

Captain request permission to repair the aft torpedo tube tourque sensor.

A somewhat interesting module, Holo tests the modules.

Seperation of modular 1 2 3 can take precisely 3 seconds if no personell during such an operation are in the splitting areas.

Testing wepons systems during speration.  Seperation can occur during the switch over on photon torpedo's meaning we shoudl be able to effectively dodge anothe rwave of torpedos at 85% effeciency.

Ai. I agree with Will Nesmith on this. Lt. Commander. I believe if we actually let him out on the condition that he promises to leave this crew alone plus leave the ship in peace and if we not FORCE things on him at this moment in time. He may be more applicable to be cooperative and chat with us over perhaps a drink that he requested oh. I think Vulcan Spice Tea or any drink he requests and some food. He may be more open to chat his intentions. I honestly would like to know what has happenned to Admiral Vorak and Captain Taurik, BUT he right now is controlling our fates right now. Let's just go along with it until we see what is happenning.  Let him out. I will take full responsibility for his actions. I will talk to him and hopefully see what he wants. I will be his escort until with the intentions of not leaving him out of my sight. I don't think we will get anymore if we force anything on him right now. The crew for now needs reassurances that NO harm will come to them and the ship will be in one piece. Let me talk to Q. I will go in the same cell with him. All enginnering systems are functional.  Commander Travis, I have detected additional information in the warp cores sub routines.  Someone has added data to solve starfleets biggest problem.  Someone has cracked the warp 10 code.  Permission to analyse.

As for the comment about reporters, they are more interested in gossip then in starshi design, even my grand appearence did not seem to interest them.

As for Ms Love, I elieve she is a highly capable woman who will do starfleet proud in her duty, both personal and professionally.

Chief eningeer, the report is complete, routing to terminal 3 in the engineering department, due to the compelxity of hte report it would take several hours to verbally read it all to you.

Computer status report Red Alert, due to the nature of hte attack.  Computer system is still offline and not responding to human erbal commands. Do you wish me to attempt an override.

"I expected reporters to swamp the ship but this is not what i would expect."

Taurik sits in the command chair and taps a few buttons on the LCARS panel next to the seat.

Turns to helm

"slow to warp 6."

Taurik leaves the bridge.

"Permission to punch the reports, sir?"

"Sorry sir.  I am here to protect you sir in any way that I can."

*pats it and a new warp core appears and goes online*

*whistles* I'mm aworking on the railroad, keep sswinging his legs.

Travis extends a hand

"Welcome onboard the USS Rivendell-B, it is an Honor to have you."

Travis's voice was almost drowned out by the reporters questions.

Incorrect my apprentice , it's u that can heal you, u have the knowledge and the power, but first u must face your demons that you vulcans surpress, they are ready to strike.

After a few moments in a turbolift Morgan gets to the torpedo control room and begins to work of the circuit.  

He grabs a spanner, takes out the circuit and runs a diagnostic of the circuit, making a few changes he replaces it.

*Morgan to Orpheus run a quick diagnostic of the torpedo's weight measurement system, the sensor was installed with a misalignment.*

*A male reporter begins to complain*

*She enters the bridge and points to the same spot they were given last time.*

I wanted to be well rounded so that I could serve my ships better.

"Helm, set course for the Dark Passage, maximum warp."

*snaps fingers* and Vorak finds himself materializing in his office in his chari with a mountin of paperwork.*

"Helm, bring us about, defend the Alamo while it pulls into dock. Shes taken heavy damage."

You know all those tests they did on enterprise about Warp 10? what would u do if I gave the information they lacked to make the warp 10 speed? would u use it, would u destroy it or would u become greedy and allow emotions to overrule, hmm an interesting scenario.

*snaps his fingers*  and Mr Travis know show to achieve warp 10.

I know this one will go on my permanent record.

(As he sighs, The ships is jolting little as Orpheus goes on-line and regains control.)

Captain.   Should I proceed to sickbay and get the medical records that the doctor wanted done.  (I hate exams)

morgan goes over to the tactical console and installs the programing to initate the Multi Vector assault mode.

The turbolift zooms down.

*Love arrives at the quarters and sighs with fatigue quite evident. She enters the Admiral's quarters first and sets his belongings next to his bed. She exits and enters another room designated for her. Dropping her things at the side of the bed, she collapses onto the marshmallow-like matress and dozes off...*

"Ms. Torres, fire at will. Helm, engage attack pattern Sierra Three."

He can see everything.

Taurik slowly lets his new divine vision wander around the galaxy. he focuses them into short visual bursts.

The Captain disappears in a blue shimmering haze. I get up and leave his Quarters and make my way to medical.

Arriving at Medical I walk past my office through the sick bay to intensive care ah there you both are. Now Captain How may the Doctor and I help you.

Perhaps at some stage Lt Freeman y ou would care to discuss with me the exact specifications of this fine vessel you are in charge of keeping togather.

Captain Taurik, a meeting with your senior officers has been scheduled precisely 15 minutes after Flag Admiral Vorak arrives on board to allow for optimal mission performance.

Suggest diagnostic of equipment before launch while senior staff is in meeting.

OFF: For those that can't remember Q sent the Captain somewhere that was so hard on the Captain that himself and I have been in his quarters while he meditated.

Swearing I get out and run to the Sick bay to help with the bio agents.

Entering sick bay How may i be of assistance Commander.

"If you can transport him sent him to the Brig, If he is at large i suggest we let the Marines take him"

What we are doing, is being done for a reason.

Now until I"m released without having to resort to overrideing your computer, I'm ntos peaking.

Taurik watches as the Gamma Shift helm officer leaves, and Lieutenant Moris does not show up for Alpha Shift.

"It seems Mr. Moris is not going to be joining us. Mr. Madox, would you please take the helm until Alpha Shift ends?"

Continues to mind his buisness by entering a repeatitive series of commands on the console.  A series of commands that in the end did nothing.  Still, it kept the reports out of his hair.

It seems Mr Vorak that I will indeed be placing myslef under arrest *glares at the telephone still hanging*.  It seems I'm to l earn how to be "Human" since I like this form so much.  And I have been asked to have you and Taurik do it. *sigh*

"Thank you, Orpheus." Taurik says as he gets up from his seat. When he exits to the bridge, he looks at his XO.

"Commander Travis, please come with me to greet Admiral Vorak in the Transporter Room. Ms. Torres, you have the bridge."

(OFF: B'Elanna, I assumed your last name is Torres, so that last bit was directed at you.)

*looks up as Taurik and Vorak enter the bridge*

*stands up and shakes voraks hand, it's good to see you again sir.

"Commander, what the heck just happened the core was functioning at top efficency then all the sudden it went criticle and we had to eject it?"

Taurik gets up annd goes into his ready room.

Travis looks scepticly as Q. Unsure how the Admiral would keep him in place.

Files infected by the virus, Helm and Engineering. eapons systems coming online.

Suggest rebooting the helm and engineering subroutines from the backup subroutines and iniate lockdown.

Logical Flaw in the seperatioin is the inability of hte ships computer to adapt to the seperation and start the 3 seperate computer cores, suggest investigation of biopacks.

"I believe a visit to the station would be logical. All officers are permitted to explore the station at their discretion."
