Captain, I am very astonished with your tenacity and a very welcome surprise that you have come to this establishment. I hope everything is well. It's been a long time. I have been working on different designs on how to improve U.S.S. Evolution defenses against the N'jygat. After my last encounter,,,,,(He falls silent.) As I was saying, I was hoping to set up an improved way of shielding ourselves for a short time against the ravages of the N'ygat perhaps using the technology the Singularity Network planet used in it's defense against the N'yjgat. It blocked our sensors, but I am trying to find out information about it's defense mechanism of that region. The energy seems to linked to somehow like a cloaking device to block or camofloughe ourselves against the N'ygat. A blocking mechanism can be established if I can find out more about the N'ygat or A powerful energy burst can be used as a decoy against the N'ygat perhaps I can work on using the Warp Engines power to leave behind a big plume of energy as we warp out of harms way. Keep the creature busy while we escape. A time buyer. Here are my charts, Captain. I hope you can find more use for them. I have also taken the liberty to put in notes from our last mission together to detail the new so called "boomerang"  technology we have found and the effects of it on our selves from the ship as it traveled from one destination to the other. Fascinating experience I am very sure. I am sorry that I have left abruptly for it was my time of pum' far and also having been re-assigned............ (he looks the other way as he re-evalutates his situation.)

Anyway, I am very glad you are doing well. And ah, I see a new Lt. has been assigned to Engineering. Lt. Spock. I presume. Well Welcome to U.S.S. Evolution. Captain Sanchez and his crew will treat you very well. Unfortunately, I am still awaiting my re-assignment. I was once Chief Engineer under Captain Sanchez. It's true. They need to update that information for I believe there was a new Chief Engineer at the time. I hope there was...(He looks at his notes again.)
(looks at the Captain once again.)

Anyway, Here are my notes Captain. I hope it will serve you well under the circumstances and I believe it should improve your chances of escape. I hope your new Chief Engineer can find use for them whomever it may be.

Captain Taurik, Congratulations on your promotion to Captain. I hope you are doing well with your crew and your mission have been a sucess. It's been a long time. Captain Taurik. I have gotten to meet some of your crew. A lively bunch I believe is the proper term for it. I never saw a ferengi be an officer before. That was a bit illogical. Yes, I also would like to also say thank you Captain Taurik for I was truly honored serving under your leadership when you were commander. May you live long and prosper. (Does Vulcan gesture of respect.)

Same goes to you Captain Sanchez. May you live long and prosper and also to your Lieutenant Spock.

By the way, I hope that U.S.S. Evolution came back in one piece................................It's not my place any more. I apologize if I showed any emotion. Good day Captain Sanchez, Captain Taurik, and Lieutenant Spock.
