The USS Sequoia is still fighting against a Romulan warbird, when two more warbirds cecloak and open fire...
Also two more Romulan warbirds decloak to attack the USS New Orleans...
Meanwhile, the USS Evolution sustains serious damage and retreats, but a Romulan warbird decides to chase the ship...
The MEV Paladin is still surrounded by a formation of Romulan warbirds, and sustains heavy damage, but the USS Phoenix cannot go for aid, as two Romulan warbirds decloak right ahead of them...

This may have seemed a suicide maneuvre, but it was not so: the Romulan warbird on the Paladin's back could not open fire without risking to hit one of their own ships, and the Romulan warbird formation in front had the same problem. Besides, the Romulan formation was already occupied with the USS Evolution.
The SEV Paladin then makes the mistake, however, to head inside the Romulan formation, as the USS Evolution just decides to head out of it, and the two ship barely miss each other... and while the USS Evolution retreats, the SEV Paladin now finds itself surrounded by four powerful Romulan warbirds...

I am putting the unknown vessel on the view screen, sir.
And I am running a full scan of the... dam its shields are up. The information from this scan will be limited.
*Mason glances up into the view screen for a second*
Whao, no way. Where did a vessel of this size come from without showing upon on our sensors?
*Flashing sounds start emitting from Mason's terminal*
The scan is complete, but it's rather inconclusive, our sensors aren't strong enough.
The results I got back sate that its weapons where recently fired, and that debris out there is the remains Romulan War Bird. I am predicting that the War Bird fired on this unknown vessel and it retaliated, with extreme fire-power.
There's one more thing sir. I don't recognise this ships design. It's probably an alien specie that we haven't encountered yet.
Sir, the sensors on DS12 are far more powerful. If someone can get into the Astro-Metrics lab in the station then I am confident the scan results will be far more detailed.

Romulan Coalition officers... if you check your sensors, you will see that your comrades have deserted you. The ships that are still here, are disabled and we will begin transporting your people as prisoners to our ships in a few moments. Surrender is your only option now.
To all Starfleet vessels: I recommend you start immediate transport of Romulan prisoners, from both their ships and from the station.

An unknown, large grey ship comes out of nowhere intercepting the USS Evolution and cutting off her retreat from the Quantum Singularity Network, as the ship intends to enter a collision course with a Romulan warbird.
The Evolution stops, the romulan ship begins to attack the new ship, the ship returns fire with extreme power, the romulan ship explodes in a hailstorm of fire.

OFF: I'm sorry to hear that, Max Brooks The intention is that when this mission is completed, the next mission will e the creation of a secret Intel base inside an asteroid. So I will need a few people to man this base with me, which takes a less active role to play. Perhaps you could have your Max Brooks char transferred to the base when it's ready, so you have less to post?

Fire all our weapons to keep hostile ships out of transporter range.
If you can get one or two Romulan pods as well it'd be nice, but they're not a priority.

Brooks and Velotian, you will come with me. We'll be looking for romulan records and sensitive data. Thus, our main target will be the computer core and the C&C.

"Well, with the unexpected JAG hearing, it looks like you'll be stuck with me a little longer." *grin* "But I intend to keep your lives interesting. I received direct orders from Intelligence, that we are to join a Task Force Fleet that is heading to station Deep Space 12 as we speak.
Allow me to explain the situation.
Deep Space 12 is a Starfleet outpost deeper into the Delta Quadrant, even past Starphoenix Base. This station has been captured, however, by Romulans. Not Romulans working for the Romulan Star Empire, but of some sort of coalition, exiled from the Empire. Even so, the Star Empire does not bother too much to get rid of them, so Starfleet got stuck with them. Needless to say, as always, Starfleet must have messed up big time and couldn't prevent these Romulans to capture their station Deep Space 12. How that is possible to begin with, don't ask. And now, they have gathered together a fleet of ships to take the station back. A mission that will utterly fail, and Intelligence knows this. So we are asked to help them out, and make sure that we get rid of those Romulans... whatever the cost.
This mission is VERY important. Those Romulans reside on one of our own outposts, and may crack the access to the Federation's most secret file databases. This is a huge threat, and one that needs to be eliminated. After all, that is our job. We must eliminate whatever may pose a danger to Starfleet and the Federation, even if that means 'forgetting' about some of the rules.
We will join the Task Force Fleet as any other normal ship, and presume to follow commands of the admiral who commands it - Admiral Karelia is his name - but we must NOT forget the mission behind the mission on this. We must not forget that they WILL fail, if we do not intervene when necessary. It may become necessary to ignore their orders, and do the opposite, if that means succeeding in eliminating this Romulan threat. So when I give you an order that opposes their orders, do not hesitate, you know what to do. The safety of Starfleet and the Federation is at stake - once more.

Let it be known now that we of the Romulan Star Empire do not condone, promote or organise such attacks on the Federation. What had just occurred was what we feared...Experienced Romulan Captains, with the strength of Warbird class Vessels are usually a winning scenario...and as such I show my respect to the Federation crew out there on how they dealt with their threat.

I only ask that I am present in the interrogation of the Romulan crew you have captured. I have a few questions, straight from Romulan Intelligence that require answering.
Once I've had a brief hour with them, you can do of them as you wish....they are your prisoners.
