<Walking off the bridge heading to the turbolift, he waited for the Sargeant to come in then told the computer to head for the marine deck, A few minutes later they entered the deck, it was piled with marines going too and from all the area's. It was obvious that the storage bay was converted to house the marines, then the Sargeant was escorted to the room where all the breifing took place then lead him to the armory>
"Ok, Rank aside. Here." John said as he opened up a locker and threw the sargeant a hand phaser. "Required to be armed at all times with atleast a phaser and a knife which you can get from over there." he said pointing to another locker. "This is your standard assault phaser rifle. We use these all the time, When out on missions you provide your own food and water. Its also your job to make sure that you have the bear minimum of ordance on you. A few grenades, your rifle, your pack filled with atleast a first aid kit and rations if we are stuck on a planet. Make sure you got yourself grenades too. Over in that room, we have the power armor which is only used under the most direst of circumstances and even then theres only 20 suits. Now, your job is to make sure your combat gear is in proper working order. You can get yourself a suit from the armory section over there in the corner. Now is there any questions?" John said as he started to fit himself up with his combat gear and making sure his pack was resupplied.
<John's pack was slightly bigger then the normal marines pack for the sheer purpose of having his medical equipment protected, John Strapped on his spare knife and his hand phaser was holstered on his hip>
"Oh one other thing, We are supposed to be combat ready at all times. So your required to wear combat armor at all times when your awake. Make sure you got a knife and a spare just incase. Make sure your helmet is set for the different settings incase we need to go to infrared or pick up heat signatures or the like. I think that covers everything. Questions?" John said hoping he didnt forget anything.
