[The Heraan]

Suddenly, some of the Heraani soldiers began to fire into a totally different direction, and their plasma fire fell upon open ground. The commander, confused by this, searched outwards with his mind, and found nothing.

"You fools! It is a ruse! Continue firing on the humans!"

The commander searched again, but this time, for the one who dared cause this distraction. He found the culprit, a Betazoid underling. The commander, with rage in his eyes, sprinted at full speed toward this puny telepath, and lunged at him, blades searing, with all of his power.

[Voyager]

OOC: Well, I'm quite sure a couple dozen pages ago, you sent 10 marines to go with the General and 10 with you.  I'm unsure about the battalion part though.

IC:
Dolan replied, "We were ambushed by a number of Heraan with energy blades in tight corridors.  The phaser rifles the marines had didn't stand up too well under that kind of force and didn't slow down those energy blades by much.  The group of marines defending the facility from the outside were cut down by the numerous fighters and many of the Pumas were destroyed trying to take them down.  The rest, who were inside and in the corridors, had a tough time holding them off while the General and I made our way to the Omega containment room.  The General was critically wounded while sealing the doors after they were opened.   I managed to destroy a majority of the molecules before the doors were then breached by the Heraan.  The rest of us were about to be killed by the Heraan before an alien race interfered...they were reptilian and had a similar Omega Directive.  They were also hostile to the Heraan and killed off the ones in the facility and reconfigured the Omega molecules into water before leaving.  Apparently they also had a similar Prime Directive, though covering intergalactic travel instead of warp.  The remaining marines then brought the wounded to the surviving Pumas and we headed here.  And I guess you know everything else from there."

An ensign then approached and said, "The prototype phaser bank has been installed onto the outer hull, it should provide us with some protection."

Dolan nodded to the ensign, took the offered PADD, and then dismissed him before turning back to Balkazar.

[Voyager]

Dolan finished downloading the files he wanted and put them in his inner pocket before leaving his console and helping the crew fix up the ship, which was still somewhat damaged from the battle for its control.  He wondered what Starfleet was going to do with this ship.  He was sure that it held a lot of information the Federation could use to fight the Heraan.

~Maybe they could reverse engineer some of these systems.  They do seem more efficient than the Federations.~ Dolan thought for a moment.  He then began helping replace parts of the power grid that was damaged.  During his repair work, he saw Rajnus and Richards by a Heraan console.

"Captain!" Dolan said, surprised.  "I heard you were injured.  So how are you?"

[Balkazar]

"It will be good to have him back." was all the Col said as he left for the marine deck to meet his friend.

<Few minutes later he entered the marine deck and watched all the marines scramble to get their gear, and motions Moore and Richerds over>

"Make sure the recruits have their gear stowed.  Something isnt right." Balkazar told them.

"You 2 get to it, I have someone to meet in private." Balkazar said as he left for the makeshift officers lounge, a few minutes later he entered and saw his friend in the room.

[Balkazar]

"Well, Nate.  Lets see if your new body has super speed.  I need you to catch up with Raszagal and HK, they should be operating on Fequency beta 4.  Im sure you can track them down that way." Balkazar said as they continued to speed towards the Crash site.

Mimas suddenly sat up straight....

he turned somewhat to sit comfortably, and began to chant an ancient chant... which would get him into a mental trance....

With all his might, he send out a mental wave... a wave which would have the telepatic imprint of a full battalion marines flanking the heraan from the right...
To make the telepatic messega as imposant as he could, he forced all of his mental powers, it had been so long since he had to use them.... he did not know how long he could do this

<John noticed Simon fell from a plasma shot and dragged him back to administer to his wounds.  After several seconds and knocking Simon out, John with the help of 2 marines who were nearby assisted John to take the Captain back into the back out of harms way and started to look after his wounds with more seriousness, while at the same time running in every other direction to look after the wounded>

(OFF: Five hundred marines are not going to fit on a New Orleans-class ship, much less twice that, assuming you imagined bringing a full battalion. Five hundred people is nearly the Lothlorien's whole crew. 17th Battalion consists of about 1500 marines, only about 250 of which can be spaceborne at any one time.)

<Whispering in Richards ear>

"Download what you can.  Then do what you do best on the rest.  Also find out what the others have downloaded and hope its nothing of a security risk to our operations." Rajnus told Richards quietly, then he heard Voyager and quickly left Richards side and hobbled towards Voyager.

"Im doing fine, Lt.  Yes, I was injured for some reason ive healed more rapidly then most but im still sore.  How things going with you?" Simon asked, obviously concerned about his crew.

((OOC: Lol, thanks.  This is really what you get when the only Star Trek you knew when you grew up was Voyager http://www.expansionfleet.com/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'> .  And how about briefing the senior officers too, since Starfleet obviously can't be contacted to eliminate the particle?  That would allow the rest of us lowly officers to get in on the action http://www.expansionfleet.com/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'> .  Also, to point out a little conflict...Starfleet banned all research on Omega and it is extremely classified, so it doesn't exactly make sense that Starfleet researchers are making Omega.))

Dolan was relieved when the engines unlocked themselves and wondered why the computer did that in the first place.  He ran a quick diagnostic and found nothing wrong with the computer.  He had two engineering teams sent to each of the computer cores, to see if there was any interference of any sort.  When he tried to access the most recent computer actions, he was surprised to see it locked down and encrypted.  Dolan struggled to remain calm as he started to panic, as nothing during the Academy prepared him for this.  The computer seemed to be following different commands and Dolan couldn't figure out why.  He quickly regained control and forced himself to stay calm.  He decided to contact the bridge to see if any additional information could be provided.

=/\= Dolan to the Bridge, we have warp and impulse engines back online.  I can't seem to find out what caused the shutdown of the engines or the lockout on the bridge.  The computer's recent actions have also mysteriously lock down and have been encrypted to an unknown code.  Do you have any information on what is going on? =/\=

((Dolan sorry I havent been around much Iv been busy but i should be ok now for a few days. Im not quiet sure were we are int he station, I know we swept it and are now securing it so I am gonna just jump in and add a few things.))

*Powell and his teams finally secured the station. Surprisngly it was abandoned and the heeran were no were to be found nor the room containing the partical.*

"Dolan, have we found the containment room for the partical yet?"

((This will lead up to us getting ambushed by cloaked heeran soldiers and finding a secret research level. ok voyager?))

(OFF: It's not going to work, a Betazoid just doesn't have the power to do something like that. Besides, that kind of telepathy in a character needs to be approved by the higher-ups, since it can lead to what we call the "superman complex".)

"You incessant creature!" the commander forcefully projected toward Raszagal. He clambered onto the beam, summoned his strength, and leaped, footfirst, toward the Gallifreyan.

"Sir, with all due respect, I am the doctor here. If you are not going to allow examinations, which could possibly squash any chance of an epidemic occuring, then I may have no choice but to pull out an ace."

He pauses, smirking.

"I do have the authority to relieve you of your command if I feel you are...unable to command coherently, or risk the lives of the crew."

Cloud fixes Balkazar a hard stare.

"Sir, do not force my hand. It would be simple if you agreed."
