Quarters

Hobson sat peacefully in his quarters. His things sat in one corner, has he had not taken the time to unpack. The time he spent reflecting on the busy times he had been involved in.

He took the effort to stand and open plaques for the two starships he oversaw, as well as slightly worn uniforms. He set the Admirals uniform he arrived in on a table, recognizing how unusual he must look in civillian clothes.

He did not like the thought of a retirement. He had done it before, he thought, and came out of it. That was his thought now as well. He kept his ranking insignias...he would return.
