Na'Shaya Ensign Tigerlead and welcome aboard.

I am sure Admiral Rellek will be pleased to know that your requested position is granted.

If you have any questions, or need help in anyway, please do not hesitate to ask. My door is always open, assuming of course I actually have a door at the time.

Your direct superior is Commander Morgan Freeman, Chief Engineer.

To report for duty, you may use the completed mission thread "Mission 12: When it rains...".

Although the mission is complete, several crew members are still on board including myself on the bridge.

Once again, welcome on board.

Thank you for reporting in Mr. Peters and welcome aboard.

Your direct commanding officer is Chief of Security/Tactical Holographic Officer Beta.

Even though we are docked and on a short shore-leave, you can always post in the last mission thread, as there will always be crew members posting there.

Na'Shaya, I am Lieutenant Commander T'lana, Chief Science Officer and acting Executive Officer, of the USS Rivendell.

In true Naval tradition of which Starfleet follows, one of the jobs of the Executive Officer is to assign new crew members to their appropriate departments.

This process is simple, all new crew are to sign in here with their desired position. Currently there are many positions available and only some that aren't.

Simply put:

NAME:
RANK:
DESIRED POSITION:

On behalf of Captain Taurik and the current crew of the USS Rivendell, we welcome you aboard.

Any questions, please do not hesitate to contact either me, or Captain Taurik.

Mene Sakkhet Ur-Seveh
Live long and prosper.

Yes I know, seeing that was Chief Science Officer with the rank of Lieutenant Commander.

This is the Command Structure for further advancement by sections.

1. Command
2. Science/Medical
3. Security/Tactical
4.Engineering
5.Non Commissioned

1 and 2 are closely related and more likely to have their own command some day.
3 and 4 can achieve their own command when they go for the bridge-command exam.
5 hasn't got a hope in hell of achieving there own command until they go to Starfleet Command.

OOC: Wow the Heraani have fast Warp Drives to catch up to the Rivendell twenty light years away. Excellent sensors too.

OOC: Kloek, you are not an engineer. Morgan Freeman is the only one left on the Rivendell, you would be on the Gallifreyan vessel. It is also impossible for you to have fixed the Rivendell's Warp Drive due to the fact that the main core and the two secondary cores were ejected because of a core breach. Big bada boom, get the picture. http://www.expansionfleet.com/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

OOC: Sorry, the particular place I downloaded it from,, does not provide these downloads anymore and was the only place it was available. It's the best Warp Calculator I have found too, providing an HTML Star Map, for inputting more coordinates.
But having said that, you are still in luck, I still have the zip-file, which you can have a copy of. I use Windows Live! Instant Messenger and have made my email account visible.
The only problem, I have with the Quantum Slipstream Drive is using the main deflector dish to create the quantum field, this is not what the Main Deflector Dish is designed to do. The Warp Nacelles are quite capable of performing this function, seeing as that's what they are for. The Quantum Slipstream Drive is exactly the same as the Hyperdrive from Star Wars.

"Aye Captain. Shall we Commander?" T'lana asked, before heading towards the door that Captain Taurik ordered to release the L10 lock.

T'lana and Morgan headed for the turbolift and made their way to the Engineering Lab, where Larial was not. Confused T'lana tapped her combadge.

=A="Larial, how go the repairs?"=A=

=A=Larial: "I have repaired the Warp Core and installed father's switching mechanism. I ran several tests, it works perfectly."=A=

=A="Thank you Larial, now come back to the Engineering Lab."=A=

Just as T'lana had finished talking, Larial walked through the door, proving that all T'lana really had to do was wait five minutes.

Once Larial was in the Lab and the Pneumatic Doors had closed T'lana went to a console and accessed the Transporter System, beaming the Cloaking Device to the Lab. T'lana made sure to cover her tracks, so much so that as far as the computer was concerned, the Transporter Grid was never used.

"Let's get to work chief." Ordered T'lana.

"Captain, repairs are complete, you may jump when ready."

T'lana was dismayed and utterly disappointed in the events that just transpired on Rivendell. But having thought that, it was her duty to carry out her Captain's wishes, but not before making a formal protest.

"I must admit captain, I find this illegal action to be questionable at best. Having said that, I will carryout your orders, but I wish it to be noted that I do so under duress and against my better judgment."

T'lana sat back in the chair, crossed her legs and continued.

"I suggest using the Jump Drive to take us to a secure location first. This will insure privacy and make it difficult for sensors to trace our location. Apart from myself, Mr. Freeman and yourself, there should be no bridge crew during the initial jump. We can not hide the fact from the crew that we are jumping, given the inevitable effect Wormhole Induction Propulsion has on the ship, but it should minimize the questions the crew might have. If any questions asked, we can simply say that we are testing the Jump Drive because of the new core and the loss of power experienced. This is not a lie, Larial is currently working on this problem."

"Captain, if you do not need me here, I shall go down to Engineering to assist the chief."

Not really waiting for an answer, the casualty reports, spoke for themselves, T'lana took the turbolift to the engineering deck.

Once on the Main Engineering Deck, T'lana walked out of the turbolift, walking quickly and helping crew members on the way.
T'lana burst into engineering, which looked more like a nightmare, than the Main Engineering room of a Prometheus Class Starship.

"Anything I can do to assist Commander freeman?"
