That was about the time Vil'iata returned from her scouting mission having decided she'd been out a sufficient amount of time. She'd no idea she'd been gone far longer than Balkazar had intended as the young Sylesi was completely unfamiliar with Federation time keeping methods.
She broke the surface abruptly, right near the waters edge and quickly scanned the area for Balkazar. Not seeing him immediately she slid partially onto land and raised herself up on her tail to better see. Finding him eventually, "Balkazar, river scout reporting in!" With that she lowered herself back down to her normal height and waited for him to come over.

*Balkazar went to his quarters as the Ship excellerated to in speed to warp 9.999. Balkazar put on his helmet and activated the communications link to the ULA troops and ships*

"This is lt. Col. Balkazar, we will be near Jarkan in less then 5 hours. When we arrive I need you to provide cover fire. Have your agents in the fortress to blind there sensors long enough for the Saba to drop us off and our gear and vehicles. Have your troops in the power station to stand by to blow them on my signal."
ULA Captain: "Understood Col. Again thank you for your assistence and Ramstein's family is at your base as we speak."
Balkazar: "Im going to get some sleep, remain cloaked till we arrive. Gnight."

Vil'iata was much relieved to find out she was not a hinderance to them. She was very pleased to learn she might be able to swim and as soon as Balkazar gave the ok she slide quickly down to the rivers edge and plunged in
Sylesi are very good swimmers dispite their lack of leggs and can remain underwater for quite some time without needing to breath due to their uniquely designed triple lung biology.
Vil'iata remained under the water for several minutes before finally coming up. Smiling at Balkazar, "This is wonderful! It will be much more comfortable to swim the rest of the way."
Very pleased to be in the water she dived under and swam along the bottom for awhile with smooth undulating motions before surfacing again out in the middle of the river. Water streamed off her scales making them shimmer and showing off the metallic highlights of both her rainbow hued scales and bright blue hair.
She slide smoothly along the surface till she was closer to shore and waited for the signal that the group was ready to move out.

Vil'iata's head fairly spun with the speed with which everything had gone. She'd done her best to make herself useful to them and hoped she'd not been a hindrance. But now, with everything done with, she wasn't sure what was to happen to her. These were not her people but she was impressed with how well they worked together and that they had deviated from their objective to assist her after she crashed.
So she glided silently along behind Balkazar waiting to find out what was to happen next. She'd never make it back to her homeworld in time to pass the Tests and would have to wait a whole year before they were offered again. Vil'iata didn't really want to wait that long for another chance but would if there was no other option.

The scans revealed that the occupant suffered heavy laserations to its skull, broken left arm, deep gash on the right arm. Suddenly Balkazar was blinded as fires started to erupt and the ship appeared to explode at any time*
"GET THAT THING OUT OF THE SHIP!, its going to explode!"
*Several marines dragged the blinded Balkazar off till he regained his sight, then a couple minutes passed as the rest of the marines that surrounded the vessel dragged the unconscious lizard like thing out and dropped her next to the now recovered Balkazar*

Ressik listens to Balkazar call out. He watches the camp looking for movment. he see's a long figure dart to the back of the camp, to the radio.
"Sorry buddy" Ressik says putting his eye to the scope. He fixs the target in his sights, and fires. The radio begins to smoke and dies as the round slams into it. He runs back to the tent to tell the commander.

OOC**Im going to speed this up, enough slow time has gone by im going to speed it up cuz this mission has gone on long enough and all that fun stuff.

*Balkazar ordered them to be stunned and guarded by ULA forces. Then the 300+ men move out and heads towards the fortress, once they arrived Alpha company and Balkazar heads to the north side of the fortress where supposedly the structure is weaker while Eastwood goes to one side for a diversion, while the other company heads to the other side to provide cover fire and snipe those that come out. Balkazar had ordered charges planted and as Alpha company took cover a large explosion happened as a entrance was made with the charges. They then entered and started to open fire on all those who fired on them. The firefight was heavy as they cleared the fortress, they had found the professor on the lower deck in the brig while they took out the tyranical military in the fortress, the fight took about 6 hours before things settled. Balkazar then ordered the proffessor to be taken to the Corellia and the marines started to tend to the wounded marines*
<Turning to Ressik who was standing nearby exhausted>
"I believe we got the job done. What will the ULA forces do now?, they can have this fortress now if they wish. They will probly have more of a strategic advantage here. Then where they were. The skimmer finally came to rest after creating a long, deep furough. Flames crackled around the impact point and several of the consoles inside shorted out and burst into sparks.

Lying next to her was what looked like a delicate piece of jewelry, shattered beyond repair. The console at which she'd been seated continued to smoke and sputter with smarks.

*The medics took out some equipment and made a stretcher then put the unconscious lizard onto it, they then moved out followed by alpha company carrying the stretcher, then charlie company throwing some grenades into the craft to destroy it more*

That is what is in Starfleet Records what Happened, you know after that both me and General Powell and you had an O-Group regarding the Heeard Threat and that we Needed to Send someone to Find Heearn Bases and Shipyards so we Send me and what was Left of the 27th Elite Marine Guard on the U.S.S Serria.

2 Months Later, all Contact with the Serria stopped at that Point the last Message you received from me was, under Attack by Heearn Task Force detected a Solar System making a Run for it Brown out.

We Entered the System, Our Warp Engines were Heavily Damaged as well as Impulse Engines we Managed to Drop out of Warp near this Planet.
I was on the Bridge with Captain Readout and Major Gibbens when the Heearn Fired again Shields and Weapons were Off Line, and Hull Breeches on all Decks and the Bridge Crew were all Dead I received Reports that we were Being Boarded with no way out I Issued the Order to Abandon to the Planet but before I left the Broken Ship I formed a Warp Bubble with what was left of the Warp Engines and got to the Nearest Escape Pod the Last I saw of the Serria she was Sucked into Subspace. When I arrived here on the Surface, I Spend Two Weeks alone before being thrown into a Cell for 5 1/2 Months.
Now to Prove I am who I say I am.

"Lt. whoever is on that vessel needs our help. Ill be fine but lets hurry up. I have a feeling whatever caused me such pain is aboard that vessel."
"Alpha and Charlie companies, FAST MARCH! MOVE!"
*Still burdened by the weight of there gear they rushed along at a force march state as they headed towards the crashed vessel. Balkazar was begining to sense something or someone was unconscious and is in pain. The marines hurried at a faster pace, as Balkazar rushed headlong. Soon they saw the crashed vessel and a long skidded mark on the ground as the ship dug deeper and deeper into the earth as it fell*
"6 fire teams, 3 left flank, 3 right flank. Charlie company secure the parameter. Alpha company send the fire teams. Surround the crashed vessel and set your weapons for stun. We dont need to harm the one whos inside any more then they alredy are."
*The marines did as they were ordered and set there weapons for stun and secured the parameter*
*Balkazar knelt near by guarded by several marines from Alpha company*

Vil'iata stirred slightly, hissing softly in pain. Suddenly she became aware that she was moving and as her last conscious memory was of crashing she paniced and reacted on instinct.
Wrenching herself into an upright position she lashed out at the two nearest targets (the marines carring the stretcher), hitting one hard in the ribs with her tail and catching the other on the check with her projectile venom. This venom while non-lethal was extremely painful and could cause blindness if it got in one's eyes. She'd actually been aiming for his eyes but the effects of the head would caused her to miss.
The immediate reaction over with she coiled in on herself, fangs bared, hissing in warning. To anyone familiar with Terran creatures she greatly resembled a startled and defensive rattler or viper.
Vil'iata was without knowing it broadcasting fear in almost palpable waves in all directions.
She reached to her side where her translater-voder should have been hanging and found it gone, likely smashed during the crash. This scared her even more because now she realized she would have to hope someone among these strange beings had a receptive mind. While it was true they could speak to any race they much prefered to 'path to those races that were already attuned to pick up telepathic communications.

Vil'iata guided her skimmer ever lower into the atmosphere as she headed for the freshwater source she'd managed to identify.
Suddenly alarm klaxons rang out through the little ship and it rocked roughly sideways. Startled she keyed in a series of rapid commands on her console in an attempt to find out what had just happened.
::Outer hull breach in aft section. Activating emergency bulkheads.::
::Manuevering thrusters offline. Impulse engine offline.::
Frantically punching in commands she tried to get the impulse engines back online but without success.
::Impact with planet surface in 10 seconds.::

Terrified and starting to panic she did the only thing her scant training told her to do in this kind of situation, she released an all-frequencies distress beacon.

*The men dropped the stretcher the snake like being was being carried on and dropped to the ground. One grabbing his ribs while the other marine was grabbing his face in immense pain from the non-lethal venom*

Vil'iata remained tightly coiled, ready to strike out at the least provocation. She started slightly when the one up front yelled and hissed louder. However, upon seeing them dropping their weapons she relaxed slightly.
Vil'iata was surprised when the being who appeared to be in charge started forward weaponless, his hands out. This attitude went along way towards calming her down further.
When he started speaking she shook her head, trying to indicate that she couldn't understand him. Something occured to her, the lead being seemed to be reacting to her emotions. Acting on the premise that if he could read her emotions maybe he was of a species attuned to read thoughts she focused on him and projected, "I am called Vil'iata, of House Major Najadum. I am a Sylesi."

We used our own explosives and destroyed it so the military on this planet found nothing to use to there own advantage."

Ressik and his GLA troops Trudged up the ridge into the next valley, nearing the top, Ressik's keen ears detetacted the sound of voices it sounded distant so he motioned to his men to move over the ridge.
Over the ridge, Ressik dropped his gun to the ground and unslung his rifle of his shoulder. peering over the ridge he adjusting his scope he watches the enemy enter the canyon, pulling himself back over, he turns to his men.
"Move out and around the canyon in 5 minutes i want all you weapons trained on the enemy, do'nt fire until i do, move out."
Over the next 5 minutes the 20 ULA troops move into postion and fix their weapons onto the Jarkenan's. Ressik watches intenly on the patrol as they walk into the ambush. moving the rifle he pactises moving between the radioman and the highest ranking officer, certain he has it right he fires.
The radioman moves through the canyon, ready to report anynews on the downed aircraft, he scans the hills and looks to the guys ahead of him, the round slams through the radio and hits him the chest, rendering him incapasitated.
The leader of the patrol turns around only to have another round slam through the side of his helmet and through his head, the hill erupts as the rest of the ridges opens up, and within a minute with the odds against them no leadership and no radio the surviours surrender.
The squad moves into the canyon taking the weapons and binding them the squad waits for Ressiks orders.

Vil'iata was hoping that this planet would have what she needed. She was well ahead of schedule and if she was successful here would make it back to her homeworld well ahead of any of the other candidates. It was crucial that she find a supply of water on this planet as she was running dangerously low.
Most skimmers were equiped with replication technology but the ones outfitted for the Tests were stripped down to bare minimum and you were required to find an outside source of water.
She was completely unaware of what was happening on the surface of the planet so focused was she on her task.
((OOC: hope my timing with this post is correct. I'm going to assume the hostile is still in orbit as I've not seen any post mentioning it's being disabled/shot down. Let me know if I need to change anything.))

He bekons the his captain to come to him, "they will hamper our journey, there's a cave half we leave them in we will stun them for a few hours"
"Sir is that wise?"
"We will leave 5 men behind just in case. lets go"
The prisioners are ushered up the hill and into the cave, they are stunned by the ULA troops and guarded by 5. Ressik gathers the rest of the squad, and begins to move in on the Roundezvous point, where he will wait for Balkazar.

*The USS Saba arrived a day later and the marines rapidly started to pile in equipment and vehicles into the ship as well as Alpha, Bravo, and Charlie companies. Balkazar stood outside as he coodinated what to put and how the Pyro Fighters and Pelicans fit into the ship*
"Lt. Take that extra ordance and put it inside the pelicans incase we have to do an emergency drop onto the planet surface. Sargent, put those puma's back into the motor pool we wont be needing them, according to intel the planet is made up of primarily canyons."

Vil'iata took in the flood of information given her by the being who'd identified himself as Balkazar calmly and with head cocked slightly to one side. When she'd first regained consciousness her slit-pupiled eyes had been dilated to their fullest extent but as they talked, and she calmed down, they gradually regained their normal proportions.
She'd mostly regained her composure when one of the other beings began speaking and while she couldn't understand his words she could clearly sense hostility radiating off him and turning towards him hissed slightly in warning.
Refocusing her attention on Balkazar, mouth turning upwards in a slighly ironic smile, "No need to worry. You're secret is safe with me." She shrugged, "It wouldn't matter anyway as my species can 'path to almost anyone, it's only easier with those species already attuned to telepathic communications." Flashing a quick grin, "I could easily make myself heard by everyone if you'd rather."
At the mention of water Vil'iata was reminded of her thirst and why she'd come to this planet in the first place, "Please, some water would be nice. That's actually why I was here to begin with. Vil'iata nodded and swam back up the river. She remained submerged just off shore and watched as the others secured the camp. That accomplished she rose slowly from the water and glided over to join Balkazar and wait to find out what she was to do next.

"Right we need to slow them down, lets get to that boulder up by that ridge and we will knock it down on them, move out."
Ressik 20 troops monouver to the ridge, once there they wait.
"Right now!" he says as the marine push the boulder on to the first patrol.
*yells echoed up from the canyon.
