(OFF: I am quite aware that a plot/story has not be devised as to where the bomb come from, but there is no harm in having the tactical/security doing there job it is only logical. It gives them something to do.)

That would be the most logical solutionl.
Currently, we have no means of contacting the Admiral Nocturnus, that i know of. It may prove unwise to wait, until subspace communications are up again.

CO Sutter, I could use some help with finding out if we have the equipment to build a Weather Modification Net. To protect the base and USS Lancelot against the extreme storms of Dantor.
Then I will need help with setting up these security scanning devices.

These will provide the base with an basic security system that will sufice til we get base-forcefields up.

Our engineers have gone off to some urgent mission..
It seems we are left alone for acouple of days. Let's beam down the equipment and have a look at it ourself. We might be able to handle this ourselfs, if Lieutenant Malia helps us.

I do not know if we have the equipment to build such a thing.
According to the base-building plans this location should be relativly spared from such phenomenon. But, should such a storm hit, we would risk damage to both the base and USS Lancelot.

Commodore T'Hain has commanded me to investigate the bombing of the USS Lancelot, and to coordinate my efforts with yours.
I'll give you my look at the situation. *read info from the following url*

I recommend that our first task is to secure the access data-logs from the USS Lancelot, and when subspace comm is up, the access-logs from StarFleet. I do not have any access to the actual logs on the USS Lancelot myself. Can you secure this information for our investigation?
After this we should proceed with constructing the security system for the base.
Hopefully the system will provide us with information, and be of help in the investigation.
What do you think about all this Lieutenant Malia?
