Chancellor Tash, former Traquel representative to the Delta Alliance, lands in a Starfleet shuttle at Docking Pad 3 at a starport in the Traquel capital city of Antioch. He disembarks and departs for the Traquel Directorate Strategic Command Center.

Tash is possessed with rage at both Mentora and Wabvleef by this point.

"NO! I WILL NOT ALLOW IT!"

He takes a moment to calm himself, with some minor success.

"Madam Queen, as of this moment, the Traquel Directorate hearby withdraws from the Delta Alliance!"

Tash looks to those who seem to be against Mentora and Wabvleef.

"...And I hope some would have the common sense to follow suit!"

Tash's holo-image fades away, and Sub-Representative Quello takes his emitter and leaves the chamber.

The hologram of Tash stands and walks about the room a little.

"Pax, we realize that the Yzakian people have not had the best of luck when it comes to weapons. There is no shame in your points. Diplomacy must always come first. However, there are times when you will encounter species that are not as enlightened, and are quick to shoot first, and talk later," Tash says, shooting a look to Mentora. "And those are the times when you must meet aggression with aggression." Tash notices that everyone is watching him intently. "But this is not one of those times. Starfleet has done nothing to directly harm us, and I do not believe they are simply disregarding our laws. I have not been on the Evolution long, but I assure you I will talk to Captain Sanchez and discuss this with him as soon as poss--"

There is an explosion heard over the holo-link. Tash looks about with confusion. "It appears we are under attack. I am not sure how much longer I will be able to keep the channel open, but I will try my best."

"Oh, anything for the money, eh? I swear, you Dralians are just as bad! You care for nothing but credits! I owe Starfleet my life, and if it weren't for them, we would not be as well-off as we are now!"

"Mentora! You would have us go to war with Starfleet if it was in your ability! I refuse to go along with this! If the Alliance takes action against Starfleet, the Traquel will withdraw before complying!"

"Have any of you even stopped to realize that without Starfleet we wouldn't even have the catapults? I'm sure I don't have to remind you of Captain Janeway and the U.S.S. Voyager? If it weren't for her, I would still be many light years away, and the Alliance would still rely on warp drive!"

"Your Highness, I have no idea about any droid construction plan, but I assure you it was not sanctioned by myself. As for Sanchez, I haven't had a chance to speak to him yet, and I assume he's busy--"

Another explosion is heard.

"--thanks to this attack."

"Fine with me! But we will NOT take any offensive action against Starfleet!"

"FUN? You think war is FUN!? Mentora, your lust for battle sickens me! Starfleet is a benevolent institution, I'm sure diplomacy will not be hard, but you had best control your violent urges, Torran!"

"The Queen is not all powerful, though. She does rely on the Council's support for major decisions."
